Hey, I unlocked my treo 750 but I want to get rid of all these useless att programs that are still on my phone...any ideas???

follow this above. I deleted everything from my Extended_ROM\Partition\
EXCEPT these two files CapPackage.PXP and CarrierDB.PXP.
You will need to also modify CapPackage.PXP if you wish to get rid of ALL ATT installations (cappackage is an archive file with cabs and other config files). Have a look HERE...
You really don't need CarrierDB.
can u read PalmMsgV001 on WM6.1 if replaced with PalmMsgV001 file on a treo with WM6?
Hello everybody
Since I hacked the WLAN config files in hope I could add ad-hoc functionality, my WLAN will not work again.
To edit the files easier, I pulled each file from the phone to my notebook, edited it, and pushed it back to the phone. All done with adb.
Even thought, I restored everything back to its default-content, the WLAN won't work again.
I think the problem could lay in the attributes of the edited files (the adb push / pull command sets owner:group and permissions to new values root:root...).
Can someone help me either by tell me the attributes of those files or by tell me how to restore the firmware (latest Cyanogen Mod) to the default.
/system/etc/wifi/tiwlan.ini
/data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf
Greets & Thx
push!
please, can anybody help me...

Respectively:
644 root:root (0:0)
660 system:wifi (1000:1010)
However I don't know if the numerical mapping of user:group is different for different ROMs/devices. I'm running MCR 3.2 on a gsm Hero.
I too have this problem, but with my X10 Mini Pro.
Does anyone have the default tiwlan.ini from 2.1 to share with me? I'm guessing it's different in different devices which would mean that I need the file from an X10 Mini, X10 Mini Pro or X8. Maybe X10, but I don't know really.
It appears that I haven't taken a backup since upgrading to 2.1 about a week ago and I don't know if the 1.6 version is the same.
Thank you all in advance, and sorry for the bump.
