Hi there!
Last week I tried to update my XDA Neo to WM6 - it worked the first time without any problems. After a few days the battery lifetime was very few.
After some time I could not load the battery any more => it seemed to load but WM6 said that the battery was not full.
I could not believe that the battery was broken so I flashed the Neo back to WM5. Now it works absolutely normal!
Is there somebody who can tell me why there is no problem any more?

which wm6 did you try? try another wm6 rom & see if it is the cause. maybe it is the camera version on that rom?
It has been the Prophet ShadoW 2.0 Touch Edition GER - RC1 at the first time and Gullum Prophet Touch IX.
hmmm, try & use the rom from my sig. been using it for a while with no problems.

Well I am using Fantastic Mobiz XBow v1.1i and I personally feel this is the best of the 3 roms.
I have Used Smart v2 on my Dopod 818 pro and it was pretty buggy with crashes. With Fantastic Mobiz XBow v1.1i i havent had any issues so far been using it for a week now.
For my use i do best like Smart1 WM6 V2.. I think theres to much crap with the Fantastic xbow v1.1i.. Many apps wich i never gonna use and thats not the case with smart1 v2, wich i also think is the fastest of all the current wm6 roms..

For which phone? and what is your view of "best"? If I assume you are talking about prophet phones cuz you posted here, then the answer is depends. What are you looking for? I tried pretty much all of them, none of them are perfect to my standard. Wait for the official ROM for prophet if that is ever gonna happen. I will be perfectlly happy with an official wm5 AKU 3.3 even.

None of them is stable even I have tuned the font and file memory. It still got hung often. I am using the offical rom again.
Smart1 v2 runs pretty fine here without crashes. Just the documented bugs.
Yo Alberto... as you can read in the forum, all those WM6 for the Prophet are a lill buggy. It compares to the user and his wishes, if one bug is important for him or not.
if you r looking for a fast and stable Prophet ROM, in my opinion the ASERG Rom is the best and the fastest you can get at the moment.
No WM6 Modification reach that speed, i tried them all and turn back to ASERGs ROM. I guess a stable WM6 for Prophet will take a while, anyway thanks to all of you guys who spend their time on modding it for us .

Stable no hang .... no soft reset ... never and never need hard reset
Yes, but .13.ASERG loses email settings, WiFi settings and God-knows-what-more (I'm testing it right now) when soft-resetted or battery removed. Inacceptable, I guess :/
Can anyone confirm that they have installed any other ROMS on the orange tytn II other than helmi's. I would like to try a new one, but there are stories of brickings.

I have a swiss Orange TyTN II and I have all kinds of problems with my phone since i installed hardSPL and the original HTC rom. As soon as i turn my phone off I get a standby of death. I even tried a different rom, to make sure that that was not the problem. I've never had any problems before, so im hoping an official ROM will solve the issues.

dcs v 1.7 by far the most stable tried pretty much all the others I am t mobile too

For Windows Mobile 6.1 features Sleuth 3.0 (WM6.1) Tried all other but don't have what I need and it's fairly fast! I'm on 3UK with Unlimited Internet and this is great for me.

Another good one is sleuths 1.2 rom. very fast and efficient on battery compared to his v3.0

I have used Dutty's Official WM6.1 5.2.19199 UC RTM full for a few weeks, and find it great, no issues, everything working out of the bag. Its missing voice dial which took a while to sort. Have also tried his 19716, but had a few issues like no mms.
Also i have used 3.02.405.0 (Radio 1.58.26.20) original WWE - it was fast but i had mms issues and did not bother trying to solve.
Next weekend i will flash NoThrills WM 6.1 WWE *English* V3 - The first ROM with the brand new OS build 19202! as it sounds good as well.
So far after every trial i end up going back to Dutty 19199 as it does everything i need and is very stable.
On Orange UK, slowly working through all the radios.
I'm on orange and am using qmobile 1.2.
Fast and stable. Not a whiff of any problems.

I'm with you - better than all the WM6.1 roms and stable as anything. I've kept it for ages and I'm a flashing freak
Using on O2 uk and Vodafone UK.
On T-mobile, flashed the No Thrills WWE version. Working great, with no issues for me.

i'm also using Stu's Mobile Vista which i've not had any problems with.

Also a serial flasher, but been on Dutty's Official WM6.1 5.2.19199 for a few weeks. Tried pretty much all of them and in general usage they are all stable. I found Q-Mobile 1.2 to be very good and like Schaps too - but staying with Dutty's (although might upgrade to the 23rd March release......)
Sleuth's V3.0 6.1 ROM - no issues at all, very happy with it.
I'm also usint Stu's Vista 1.1 Very stable and loads of packaged apps and games.
At time of writing Im using "Dutty's WM6.1 Official UC 5.2.19199 RTM" Rom along with WM6.1 Radio ver. 1.64.08.21. Radio seems to perform great and in the last 2 weeks of runnig the radio i've had one lost signal, however I've put that down to the Orange network being rubbish.
and that was 2 minutes before the Scotland v England rugby game kicked off inside Murryfield Stadium??
I have just got a Vario III this week, upgrade from my Vario II and was thinking about looking at ROM and Radio upgrades; do any of these ROMs work with t-mobile's Sky by Mobile? Everytime I've tried a non-T-Mobile ROM I've lost the ability to access my Sky by Mobile account. It's beena while since I've tried to fix the problem, does anyone know if the settings have been worked out yet?

Hi friends! I find that the current ROM on the MWg Zinc II is not stable at all. Is it possible for someone to cook a ROM for MWg Zinc II?
check mwg for the updated one. works fine for me. I am curious about a custom rom as well.
I've got the Zinc II, Wondering if its the same as any other devices, it hard to fine it listed in many websites or support forums

anyone? mine slowly runs out of memory (memory leak?), and at the end of the day it hangs already...also the screen locks / does not work after i turn it on the second time from sleep mode, i have to reset for the screen to work...very frustrating...

Did you upgrade to the latest ROM? I don't have this problem at all. Mine is running at tip top performance. If no, you can get it here:

Make sure you have more than 50% battery when doing this.
hi, yah installed already the current rom. I installed winterface 1.12, sms-chat 1.16 and icontact 0.81...these are running all the time...i also installed newsbreak, pocket cm image viewer, esmertec jbed for opera mini, garmin gps with maps (on minisdhc), fring, lexisgoo dictionary, touch response, samsung time, quickmenu, pointui and resco explorer 2008...these are the programs i installed on my former zinc/marsII with no problems..
by the way, i am using an 8gb minisdhc card with no problem at all...i replaced my ipod nano 8gb with this, although i am using my motorola s9 bt headphone because there is no standard 3.5mm hole for standard headphones...
I really hope a cooked rom would be available soon (no pressure on anyone though)....my original zinc did improve once i got its cooked rom before...

I bought my xda on my friend which is running on WM6, and the battery running really quick, 6 hours for standby and 1 hours talks. And i upgrading on WM 6.1 cause i thought it could be better. And i faced up the same problems now on the battery and i couldnt soft reset by pressing a small button by stylus at the back. This my device

Welcome
Some ROM´s consume more battery than others, if you want a wm6.1 I recommend you Tomal ROM´s, specially v7.6 very stable and not high battery consuming. Also always help to have a new one
