Hi ,
I have Dr Gonzo's Windows Mobile 6.1 v1.1 with VoIP installed but I'm having an issue accessing the service.
My internet calling says that my service is blocked even though I've set it to whenever available.
Can someone please help. I don't know what to do!

I'd already seen both those links prior to posting my thread.
I thought I don't need to follow the instructions in the second link because it is for WM6 and I am using WM6.1.
I also thought installing Dr Gonzo's version meant I don't need to copy the cab files and follow the instructions.
Please can you clarify.

WM6 VoIP cab is for WM6.0 and WM6.1.

After trying several WM6 ROMs for my iMate JAMin (G4) I've gone back to WM5, as using this as a phone is my main priority, which every WM6 ROMs have failed to do.
Now I've got the RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID WM5 ROM installed.
I'd like to know a few things:
1) Is there a better WM5 ROM than the current one I'm using
2) Is there any way to increase the free RAM? Is this Pagepool thing applicable to WM5 too? I get only 23.5MB free after a soft-reset
3) Can I get Office Mobile 6/6.1 installed in any WM5 ROMs?
4) Can i run HTC Cube in a WM5 ROM?
5) The HTC Network Wizard was a useful tool which I miss in WM5. Can it be installed & used in WM5? If yes can anybody give me the CAB for the same?

Yes there is pagepool changer for wm5 too.The default page pool is set at 8mb if im not mistaken,you can change it to 6mb or 4mb,the post is stickied in the Prophet forum.A small suggestion though,back up your default pagepool before changing it.

im pretty new at all this but ive got a good grasp of PPCs but when i read through these threads i just cant make sense of some of it.
So, can someone explain (simply) which ROM should I download to upgrade my Universal from WM5 to WM6 and do I have to use that UniversalRUU program do it?
Please please help me.

It's all very well explained.
As to which version of wm6 should put, it depends on you.

I use the crossbow 2.12.08 version. Initially with radio 1.15 then upgraded to radio 1.18.
Reason is that roaming with radio 1.18 seems to be better. but so far is seems only more unstable.
However the Crossbow is very nice and I can not find any major problems.
Very satisfied and been using it for some months now.
The link is easily found on this forum and after the download you simply connect the pda to your computer, unzip the program on your computer and run the application.
the rest is easy. no big issues or special knowledge required.
note my pda already was unlocked
just give it a try !
or download some wm6 and wm5 versions and try each one.
the installation is easy and more or less the same. probably best start trying the wm5 and then move on to wm6

Update using an extended rom use pda mobiz step 2 update rom
Second do a hard spl
Third install a new rom
Forth instal the 2.19 radio Rom is the most stable one so far.
