Hi,
I just received the 1800 battery from glove after asking them if it will fit the O2 XDA Diamond.
The battery fits but the cover DOES NOT!
The O2 XDA Diamond cover is cut almost rectangular near the USB Port whereas the HTC Diamond has about 45 degrees.
Has anyone succeeded with the original HTC expanded battery?

Isn't the 1800mah battery for the touch pro?
the covers from expansys are very expansive (is this the cause for the name of the site?)
isnt there a way to modificate the cover so it will fit?

The backside of my Vox is showing bubbles on one edge after just 1 month. I usually treat my gadgets very carefully.

Thanks for the info! They indeed carry the battery cover. EUR 34,93 incl shipping for a battery cover is a little pricy though?

So i spot today this . Well its rubber covered plastic so my result is HTC vox material it`s bit crap like those rubber cover for usb and a card
I can't seem to find any accessories specifically for this version of the diamond, no silicone or crystal cases, no in-car holders desk docks/cradles i'm having to make do with a diamond silicone case which doesnt fit too well, anyone found any stuff, t-mobile don't even list this on their accessories site (thanks for putting in a totally useless flyer in the box)

I'm guessing not, unless it's only just gone live ....... There's not all that there though, and no cases at all. I'm using my Bugatti case I had for my MDA Touch as I've not found any thing I like yet.

yes i have but i dont have a diamond, mda iv is diferent shape, crappy generic stuff might work but i want a proper fitting silicone case and a proper matching charger cradle.
guess we have to wait until the US/canada release. then there should be more accessories available for the victor

I have looked everywhere for an MDA compact 4 specific silicone case, but no one seems to have one. I bought 2 from ebay for the Diamond, but neither fit very well at all and the stylus hole is not in the right place. Why did T mobile change the design ??
I have to agree, it's pretty frustrating at the minute, I mean you can't even get a screen protector at the minute as the diamond one is the wrong shape as MDA has curved screen top & bottom.
Hopefully now that the P3702 has been released in Taiwan and the US the accessories suppliers will start to provide stuff specific for this shape.
Oh and shame on you T-Mobile, i got one of those accessory flyers with mine only to find there is nothing listed for the Compact IV

Ya same here,eagerly waiting all the accessories for MDA Compact IV.Loads for accessories are for ugly diamond only at present.
This is ridiculous, someone gotta bring out something for the IV soon.
I too am suffering from the lack of specific accessories for the MDA and I did get 'caught' with a car holder that was supposed to be for the MDA but the MDA is slightly wider... ended up having to shave a ridge off inside the holder (sanded it down as well) and now it's slides in and out a treat (so to speak).
Having said all that I personally think that the design of the MDA is a lot sleeker that the Diamond and even the change of theme I prefer now.

the exim on is excellent foe the mda IV. covers the whole face. leave the zagg one alone unless you want the screen to come off
ful body coverage is not going to work very well as the whole of the bottom section are buttons that are going to be constantly moving and after a while you'll get dirt in it? o.0

It looks like a dock where you can load your extra battery or your diamond... sounds great...

Just wonder USB cradle for Touch Pro might charge the extended battery (1340 mAh) of Touch Diamond, but the device might a bit slimmer to sit into the cradle. Perhaps to put some cushion on the cradle (back side of the slot) might fit the Diamond stands in the slot for synchronizing and charging. Since Diamond and Touch Pro are almost the same in size only the thickness is different. The extended battery of Diamond is the default battery comes with Touch Pro.

and i would say no...a vendor would have to create a special "diamond shaped" cover for our phone. the primary difference (in using the GSM cover vs the Sprint cover) is the difference in the charger receptacle. also, i ordered/received an OEM HTC extended battery from Expansys that included the extended battery cover for the GSM Diamond and i can tell you IT DOES NOT FIT the Sprint Diamond. the T Mobile UK version of the Diamond has a grey colored extended battery cover shaped like the Sprint Diamond. hopefully that one fits; however, it's not yet available for the 1340 mAh battery.

I agree the Sprint Diamond will not fit the GSM Diamond because I already tested it, the Sprint Diamond is a bit smaller than the GSM Diamond and the top and bottom lip of the back cover is slightly rounded. but I did bought the rubber skin for the Sprint Diamond

The GSM Version's back cover WILL NOT FIT the CDMA diamond.
I ordered the 1800mah battery and cover and while the battery fit, the back cover did not.

Won't this give less network? Cause acording the manual the antenne is located in the area in the middle of the lens, I have now the 200mAh and just bought it cause it was cheap at DealExtreme to pull 100 bucks out of your pocket you must be shore thats not giving problems.

Yeap its 3000 and its more than 100 since VAT and delivery is not incl... but i am no rich guy , of cos i will wait for certain brave soul to try it out 1st before i part with my $$
but then whether its 3000, 2000 or al cheapo 1800 battery, all cannot fit into the std leather casing and i have not been able to find any leather casing catered to the diamond with extended battery... hence what this thread is all abt.
anyone has yet to find a leather casing that fit a diamond with extended battery?
