Push E-Mail doesn't work - Touch Cruise General

Hi Folks!
I have push e-mail over my phone provider which works fine. Since I don't have a flat for real http, but I have one for the push e-mail and wap thing, push e-mail is my choice for communication when not at home or at work. At home I have an ADSL2+ line with 16MBit, so I prefer download e-mails directly over WiFi. But as soon as I set an e-mail account up in this little outlook like messaging app, I don't get any push e-mail notifications anymore. Is there any solution? Can I set it up like when data transfer is activatet in the comm manager, it will notify me with push e-mail and when Wifi is active it will not notify me? BTW I use the 0.67 WM 6.1 Standard ROM from Bepe if it helps.

Problem sending emails

Everytime I try to send out an email from either outlook or the pop 3 messaging options i get:
Outlook - the email just sits there in my outbox and does move
Pop3 - the email gets moved to my drafts folder and I get a message saying System Admin - Invalid message recipient
Can anybody help
Thanks
The problem lies in your POP settings...though some accounts allow you to use the correct outgoing mail server - ie the same as you'd have in Outlook - most have problems and you have to set it up in a different way.
Leave the incoming mail server as it already is, ie if you're on btinternet "mail.btinternet.com". However, change the outgoing mail server to "smtp.o2.co.uk". I don't think you need to tick the "requires SSL connection" in options, but if it still doesn't work then give that a try. I had the same problem regarding "invalid recipient" on an old Clara.net account I had, but once I put in the smtp.o2.co.uk" it worked a treat.

HTC S640 (Isis) E-mail receiving problem

I recently purchased an HTCs S640 (I guess it's also called Isis) from Telus with Windows Mobile 6. I seem to have a problem with the built in messaging application receiving emails from my POP3 account which I've set up with a webspace provider that also hosts my website.
The weird part is that I receive messages fine when the phone is synced up to my computer via USB and ActiveSync, but it fails when I'm using Wifi and the phone is disconnected from my computer. Another weird thing is that the phone seems to log into my incoming mail server, looks for changes but doesn't actually download any messages.. and then logs out as if I have no emails... no error messages or anything.. The outgoing mailserver I've set to my ISP's SMTP address and that works fine .. it's just incoming messages I have a problem with.
I've also set up my Gmail account with IMAP which works (except for the known issue of recieving only headers for HTML messages) and my hotmail accounts through Windows Live.
I'm working with my web host to see if there is anything on their end that can be fixed.. but the same setting I am using in HTC's messaging application I am also using on my desktop computer's Outlook and they work fine.
Any suggestions?

Send/Recieve all email

Is there a way to just hit one button and winmo will do a send and recieve for all the email accounts? Like in any other desktop email client?
Just it winds me up that you have to go through each email inbox and hit send and recieve one after the other especially if you've got several! I know i could set it to automatically send/recieve but I dont want to do that, I'd prefer to check them manually.

Setup/Syncronize Email WM6/PC

Hello,
I'm having some troubles understanding how email process in WM6.
I have a POP3 account for business mail, and i access it from 3 different places (Work, Home and PDA). All three work fine and without problems, but not sync'd.
I noticed that everytime i send an email at work, it will not be seen in PDA neither at home. If i send the email at home, it won't be seen at PDA neither at work.
I was exploring the WM6 sync stuff and i got confused....
I managed to sync the mail using Windows Mobile Device Center and all mail from PC was sync'd with the PDA, but i noticed also that if i try to send an email from PDA, it won't get out of the outbox until i connect my USB cable to the PC (stupid thing).
Is there any way of having my email sync'd?
Maybe some IMAP account or something else? I think it won't be possible with a standard POP3 account.
Thank you for any help.
You're right, IMAP is the only protocol that syncs mail.
You could try forwarding all your POP3 mail to a GMail account and then set GMail to send mail using your POP3 email.

Push mail on WiFi

I just set up my hotmail account as an "M$ Exchange ActiveSync" account in the default mail application. I entered m.hotmail.com as server (Found this using Google), set Peaktime from 00:00 to 23:59 and enabled push mail for peak time. Push mail seems to work properly while I'm on my data connection. But when I turn on WiFi to connect to my home router, it doesn't work anymore. I don't get the push service. The mails come in only when I open the App and it syncs. Same for Gmail, even though a mail on my Gmail came in while I syncedwith the default app. Is there any workaround for this? I read about the WiFi policy when the device is in standby, and I found that my setting was already to never turn it off. Can somebody help?
Please do also report if you have the same problem or if another Push solution for Hotmail works for you.
Does nobody here use pushmail?
I think I'm having a similar issue with my phone. I only use GMail, but even then my messages show up sluggishly when I'm connected to WiFi.
I have a GMail notifier extension in my browser, so emails consistently ping when my browser is opened. Unfortunately, the very same notification will take a couple of minutes to show up on my phone.
Don't know if that's a helpful problem report. Hopefully there's something stupid that we're missing that's causing issues?
I use Advanced Email which is great. works really well.
I have my wireless on all the time at work and at home and get push emails from hotmail fine.
So i would say maybe its the software.
Advanced email is very good. I use it alot because it can also get folders you create and not just the inbox.
