Hi All,
I have seen many posts in web about DUAL Sim (GSM/GSM) - China Mobiles.
When Searched I could see there are other Branded Windows Mobiles that support Dual Sim (GSM/GSM) at same time.
So is there any Dual Sim (GSM/GSM) Mobiles from HTC yet? or HTC is planing to jump to market after some time?

I was just thinking if dual SIM can be installed in VOX and got several links of which I found the SIMORE interesting. Link below, Any practical experience from any user is appreciated. Finally whatever I have searched in net - all says the SIMs have to be cuut. Is there any way for using dual SIMs in Uncut mode in VOX.

Chances are less that HTC or Nokia or such companies will jump into dual sim wagon. Even Sony doesn't have a dual SIM phone. The basic reason is -
a) They are battery killer.
b) Its pretty useless, if you think seriousely, you can not use both sims calls simultaneousely - that is the other caller will get a engage tone.
c) If you look at the market, the only so called company to launch a dual sim phone is Samsung, but then Samsung phone's are notorious for their compatibility issues.
i think, Addicted2xda clearly pointed the issues with dual sim phones.
there is a Spice pocketpc2003 phone which supports dual sim, which i had seen at times of india direct to readers advertisement.

Well I think you are missing the point of Dual-Sim mobile phones - While I can agree with point a) (they clearly are battery killers), I have to disagree with others.
I actually think, they are pretty useful - as for what you mentioned - well, both sim cards are online at time and it's perfectly ok if the caller gets busy signal if you are calling using the other sim card isn't it? Or you are able to make two calls at once?
On the other hand, having two sim cars online, brings you the possibility to use two networks at time or two different tariffs - for example, many providers offer substantially cheaper calls within their networks, so this way you can call cheaply to much more friends. Other example might be that one provider might be offering well priced data plans, while the other offers free calls and text messages - with dual-sim phone, you can use them easily together in one phone...
All things considered, I think that there's great potential in dual-sim phones and it would be less than clever for manufacturers to overlook it...
I surely hope that some good, dual-sim, Windows Mobile phone would emerge soon, as it would be high in my list of potential replacements for my Vox (which is plagued with the annoying "Not available after GPRS/EDGE usage" problem)...

Very sorry to disagree, I think we have all seen a lot of pple juggling with a land phone and a mobile in office, you know - "Could you please hold on for a moment I will get back to you" and talking to the other phone, I think juggling with two phones is easier than putting one on hold (if that is possible, i have no idea) and switching back and forth between two calls. But then that is my idea. As far as Point 3 goes, I don't know about WM based devics, but all you have to do is search a little on the net for applications for Samsung's generic phones. This is unfortunately not the case with SE or Nokia handset .
Well, I just hope that my post didn't sound like "Hey, just my opinion is the right one" - I certainly didn't mean to say something like that...
I just wanted to give another view on dual-sim phones
There are like 2-3 WM phones from different manufacturers with dual-sim slots, but neither has hardware keyboard which is something I've grown used to

I currently own a Blackstone and its been pretty good to me over the past year or so. However I have two numbers and I have to carry two phones around with me. I have been looking into dual sim for a couple of days now and all i can seem to find is either dodgy Chinese copies or really old Samsungs.
In the USA a company called General Mobile have made an android phone with dual sim the kernel for it is below:

Its time for me to find a new phone. Ive gone through three first gen MotoQ over the last few years and this last one is finally starting to fall apart which is quite amazing since it was announced five years ago (if it isnt broke dont fix it, and if it breaks fix it!). I've been a MetroPCS customer going on six years now and have no intention of switching providers
Help me find a phone with the following requirements -
Android OR Windows Mobile 6+
Able to be modified for MetroPCS
A full keyboard (can be a slider, flip or front facing keyboard like the MotoQ)
Price under 200$ new or used
Some nice features to have but not required would be -
Charges through standard mini usb
Extended life batteries (or brand new original batteries) available
Some type of tethering solution (currently i do this through USB)
I don't mind if the phone is old, even a model from four years ago if it works well
I am in the San Francisco bay area (LTE is available)
I often use my MotoQ to send MMS and the Google Maps application even though the speed is very slow (perhaps because of my device?).
Three times I have paid someone to add the "foreign" ESN of my phones into the MetroPCS database so it would be a definite plus (not a requirement) if the phone had the ability to directly take over for my current MotoQ without the extra fees (electronic serial number change).
You dont have to give me all the details on how to hack the phone onto metro, if you give me a model number I will do my own homework.
My girlfriend insists on getting me a phone for my birthday. I think she is tired of seeing me carry around this ratty old phone that no one still uses.

Based on all your needs, the best fit would be a Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 (Rhodium). It also runs Android now, as well as WM 6.1/6.5.
I have little experience with CDMA, but from what I understand most devices whether they have a good or a bad ESN can be flashed for any carrier other than the original. I haven't seen any CDMA Rhodiums for sale here on the forums, but you could always try eBay. They're pretty cheap these days too

I was starting to lean towards the Moto Droid 2. Apparently it is not too difficult to get it functioning properly on MetroPCS and it has decent specs. The price for used models isnt bad and its running 2.2 android stock, with a 2.3.3 hack available

Also true, with the added benefit that if you ever move away from CDMA, you'll have a GSM radio in there too. I can only speak for the original Milestone, but it was a capable little phone at the time. They reworked the keyboard on the second one, so it seems to be much more user-friendly. I'm not sure how much luck they had with the bootloader on it though, so would pay to do some research there before you buy

The guy mentioned that the phone was unlocked from his carrier, is there any problems that can occur here? let's say if I'm going to flash custom roms the phone get locked back? how can be unlocked?

To tell you whether the phone will work on your friend's carrier, we would need to know what country you guys are in, and what version of the phone you are buying. If its a GSM system, the phone SMS, and WiFi should all work. But whether 3G and LTE will work, depends on whether your local carrier is compatible with the bands on the phone. Also, your carrier must offer MicroSIMs, as that is what the phone accepts. I believe any carrier that offers current versions of the iPhones or iPads should have MicroSIMs available.
Don't know if there are any counterfeits of the One X/XL that could really be passed off as the real thing. I think somebody posted a video of a phone that was supposed to be a clone of the One X, but it was a cheap piece of crap that could never be confused with the real thing (looked like cheap plastic, twice as thick, etc.). If you have seen/handled the phone in person, I doubt there would be a counterfeit that could be mistaken as real. The one piece polycarbonate body, gorgeous screen, and the general build quality are probably not going to be anywhere near matched by a cheap knockoff. If you haven't seen a One X/XL in person, least watch some videos of what the phone looks like.

Based on this Romania uses GSM 900/1800 for Voice and EDGE data, and UMTS 2100 for 3G data. Those bands are extremely common, and used in most of Europe, and other parts of the world. Just about any version of the One X/XL should be compatible. You should be okay in this regard. But you may need to find your carrier's data network APN settings and enter them manually, in order for data to work. You should be able to find the APN settings for Orange Romania by Googling.
Never owned a GNexus, so can't personally say. The One XL has a better CPU, gorgeous screen, and beautiful build quality. I know folks on here have switched to the One X and love it, while others prefer the AOSP nature of the Nexus series, and the developer support. Whether its the right switch for you depends on your personal needs and preferences, budget, and how much a One XL would cost you.
Got the phone, seems good and my friend picked up, it is an international one x not one xl as I thought, phone is very nice

Dual SIM Android phones seem to be an excellent mechanism by which device vendors can suppress the urge of us nerds to install alternative ROMs on our phones.
If I use a single SIM phone I have a choice between a decent cheap Internet connection, and expensive calls to friends and familiy, or a crap Internet connection and cheap telephony.
So if I (could) install CyanogenMod, I would effectively have a single SIM phone and have to settle for one choice or the other - right?
Dual SIM phones are popular in China, India, Africa, and probably South America - half the world's population or more. If Android had full support for multiple SIMs perhaps device manufacturers would think twice before going it alone purely on the grounds of cost, not to mention subversion of the common OS.

I would suggest waiting for something like the S4 Duos to come out. It already appeared in Sammobile. After it is released, Cyanogenmod might add native support for dual sim phones to their source code, making it easier for other dual sim phones to support dual sim on their respective Cyanogenmod builds.

I used Cyanogenmod as an example. I think it is Android that needs to recognize people's justifyable need to use dual SIM phones, and make it core!
