The ROM upgrade to 6.1 went well and it looks great (outstanding work!).
I have no sound at all now.
Vibrate works.
Speaker is on etc but no ring, sounds, anything.
Any ideas?
Also - is there a way to get rid of the start-up flash that shows TEST ONLY, NOT FOR SALE ?

1. Click on the link in my sig. go to radios folder, then 6.1 radios, d/l one and flash it. you are using a 6.0 radio and it wont work.
2. while there, pick a splash screen and flash it as well.

You sure you want to use an old Dutty ROM...he's been gone for a long time and there are plenty of newer builds to play with..
Also, its a harsh world here at XDA and the regulars like people to do some reading and research before asking questions (unfortunatly, you asked a question that has been answered about a billion times over the last few years and lesser men have been kicked senseless for asking the same question as you).
We all loved dutty but he's gone. Its time to move on and find someone new.

I realised ppl r not going 2 my ROM Thread, probably cause is passed some time.
So i started a new one 2 searve as a pointer----», as ppl get interested and search 4 new stuffs.
I think that if this thread is shorthening space, Moderatos and Managers of XDA Dev would deleted it .
I wish that that matter would be the biggest problem in my life. So 4 u 2 say what u said, probably u dont know what is like 2 live in half way 2 hell.

Blue, I actually think that the reason you did not get more hits on your ROM is how you posted it. If you look at all the other cooks they give detailed information about the ROM and even som screenshots. Maybe try that approach next time. Just my two cents.

I tried this ROM, liked it. Still have the initial splash screen (you seemed to have added one that other roms don't overwrite).
The second splash, the one of your avatar was not SFW - safe for work, even tho it is not that bad
Other chefs have added pretty nice ROMs with newer builds, ryncppr - death v2 and L2 v4 diamond.

more details will probably get you more publicity. junior member with 5 posts posting a rom. it's no offense to you at all, but most people will go for the more widely known devs.

Hey! we're a community guys, a lot of the veteran dev's you see around here started out like this fellow, so please, just keep an open mind and give him a chance would ya?
I think you should just start out with the regular ROM thread format.
List which hero dump each of your ROM's are based on, what works, what doesn't. What is required. Anything you've added in, what you've taken out. Recommendations on swap if it's supported etc. Link or no link, it's a start.
Maybe you'd like to name your roms, or something and change the thread title as well

If it doesn't have working bluetooth, you can keep it. No offense, but I'm about sick of all the "fast" hero rom's and still no working bluetooth for the tmo g1/htc dream.

Second the above statement. The only hero rom I have used to date with working bluetooth for 32B devices is the one in my signature. It is by no means the fastest but it is stable enough with working bluetooth.
Tmack23 should have the ROM's posted within an hour.

I'm down to flash. I will give it a shot. I like giving people benefit of the doubt. If they take the time to post a rom, why not take the time to try it out. Right? I'm excited to hear that you have working bluetooth. I hope this works on my mt3g.

i'm with you up to an extent. some people (i am most definitely not pointing the finger at anyone. i'm just saying in general) will just throw together something to say they're a dev and play everything up.
on a lighter note, i'm VERY interested in hearing whether or not bt is working. i can't flash at the moment, but i'll probly try it out later tonight.

I have been using a HTC Kaiser now for half a year and love it. I would really like to upgrade my rom to a cooked windows 6.5. I have read quite a bit on doing this and realized that most of the things I was reading were from 2008-2009. I would like to know if there are any chefs still cooking in 2010. I was going to go with the last batch from ~Witschey. I am looking for fast and stabil. Does anyone have a tip for me on which rom to use in 2010? I don't want an iPhone yet....
Oh right: right now I have flashed the HardSPL1.56. Otherwise I thought it a good idea to ask you guys first.

I am a very sad girl. I was super excited to see a Paranoid Android ROM for the MyTouch 4G Slide, but the link is dead. I searched google and assorted forums high and low. I MUST HAS THIS ROM. Since the link is dead, the internet is not letting me has. =(

And since you had asked so nicely I WAS going to surprise you and tell you where to find it. But your question caused me to go back and make sure it was where I thought it was and low & behold....it wasn't. I DO have it and have even made a mirror thread that is pinned just above your post. I'm glad you asked for it because I can't believe I overlooked posting that one there for everyone too. My signature has a "Mirrors" link in it or you can look above you post. Which ever you like. It WILL be in post #3 but first I have to upload it to my cloud & create the link. Have patience and with any luck I can upload it on this not-so-fast DSL I have and it will be there soon. LOL. Almost neighbors aren't we? I'm afraid this DSL isn't really cut out for uploads when they exceed 40mb or so. I've tried this thing about a half dozen times.
