I m a newbee to these forums... I found it very helpfrul.
I have a problem with my Imate Jamin. It had WM5 and it was smooth.. though it was a bit slow... I upgraded the rom to 6.1 from PDAVIET (1c). I love the new one.. amazingly fast and really cute. I noticed the clarity in sound has increased...
But the problem with it is ... it doesnot allow me to share internet with my laptop or PC thru USB. Earlier in wm5, I used "modem link" and it was just fine. After upgrading when I open internet sharing and tap on connect, it says "cannot connect for an unknown reason. To change your connection settings, tap settings"
I can access GPRS on the phone, activesync is working fine. When the laptop is connected to the net, I can access internet in my phone with usb. But there is some bug(?) with the internet sharing through GPRS???
Am I doing something wrong??? Please help

even I also have this same problem of sharing internet from my Jamin to laptop after upgrading it to WM 6.1
Its really nice after upgrading it, only problem is sharing the Net.
What should i do??? pls somebody look after this problem.

actually my real problem is i'm having a hard time using the internet sharing feature of my 8525, it can connect to a ntwork @10mbps via 3g/hsdpa but my loptop cannot detect it although the network status of my loptop says that im connected but my browser cannot open a website!

I've searched around and cant find anything that works... im just wondering if there is any one out there that has a wizard that has been able to get internet sharing to work fom the pc to WM6 with a widcomm BT stack? Im able to go from ppc to pc with no prob but would like a faster connection when at home.

if i use my treo as a modem with the internet connection sharing per usb. if i download a big file or the connection is busy i get disconnected from the internet and the treo says it is connected to active sync. i have thisproblem only with usb, not with bluetooth. any ideas?
I also had thos problem with WM6 and 6.5.
Noone else has this problem or any solution?
Hey, I have a Htc Pharos (winmo 6.5), with bluetooth activesync setup and i was wondering if i can share the activesync's internet, with my other computer?
Btw ive tried to use Internet sharing on my phone but it doesnt show "my work internet" and only shows cellular connections which i dont want to use.

hi all,
I'm trying to set up a vpn connection on my WM 6.1 device, using Giganews' VyprVPN, but I can't seem to make it work at all.
On wifi, it shows as Connected but my IP isn't changed. On 3g, it doesn't connect at all so far (french operator Bouygues)
Has anyone already used this successfully ? It is supposed to be working with WM (PPTP)
