Blue Dialer Background

I have a question hopefully somebody can answer for me. I just flashed Duttys wm 6.1 fixed from April 16th, and then I added the wm7.tsk which is the blue theme for the today screen, does anybody know how I can get the dialer to match it? when I open up the dialer the screen is grey/black along with the buttons but the upper and lower bars are blue. I want the background to match the today screen and I have literally been searching for 2 hours and cant find anything. I have found a couple of cabs that say blue dialer skin but they dont work so any help is appreciated.

You would need to modify the dialer images. You can find one of the dialer cabs & extract it to see the names of all the button & background image files then you'll need to either create new images that match, size wise, or use an editor to modify the images.

modify:
\windows\blue_Dialer_Bkgnd_Land.png
\windows\blue_Dialer_Bkgnd_Port.png
and\or
\windows\blue_Dialer_BkgndSK_Port.png
\windows\blue_Dialer_BkgndSK_Land.png

I use the following dialer Its the best match I've found so far. Just install the iphone dialer cab and then copy the contents of the zip file into the windows directory.

Skinning the Today Screen or replacing it?

I have spent the last several days searching googling etc.. to no avail It boggles my mind I can not find this I must just be using the wrong keywords in my searches.
I want to skin the today screen or replace it I do not care. I have a PPC 6700 on sprint. I want the background image to be FULL screen either by getting rid of the top and bottom status bars or Skinning them. However it needs to be done.
here is a link so you can get an idea of what I am after LEFT is how my screen looks now RIGHT is how I "desire" my screen to look.

WOW thanks SO much that looks to be exactly what I want. Only problem is it SHOWS the top and bottom removed but gives NO indication at all as to how to actually do it :-( moaning SOO close. I got the theme program. Help file is useless. Website contains no clues no forums etc..
Any Ideas ? I am playing with the program right now but I see NO "obvious" means with which to accomplish this.
AHH now I understand (found another thread) this is in combination with a program VJToggle that gets rid of the start and new bars. Alas I do not want to get rid of them I just want to add transparency or skin them :-(

i found a feature of ultimate launch 1.2, find and install... then find its directory, there are two files in the folder "smart tools" dcinobar.exe (removes bottom soft keys) and toggle.exe (toggles top bar on/off)
a nice thing is the actual buttons still bring up the menus and soft keys still work, the visual element is just removed from the today screen.
i copied dcinobar to the windows directory and placed a shortcut in the start up folder.
i have since uninstalled ultimatelaunch but i have a great today screen without soft keys!

i have a similar problem, i am running a MIps pocketpc2000 device, i run pocket blinds to give the toolbars additional features that the stock toolbars dont give, my question is this on many of the demo pictures of the device the screen shows the top and bottom toolbars with the today screen overlayed with a picture in the background, i have found various today plugin's that allow a picture to be displayed but not behind, it inserts it below under the appointments and tasks, thus showing part of the picture. any suggestions as i assume it is registry related as the image (white background) must get pulled from somewhere??

Change color of top and bottom of screen?

I've tricked out my screen with all black (very clean and elegant), but I still have teal-colored strips at the top and bottom of my screen (top: where Start and system icons are; bottom: where soft keys are).
Can someone tell me how to change the color of these parts of the screen?

what device do you have
its normaly done by changing themes but im not sure were this option is unless i know what device you have

this is a thread i created a long time ago... with how to create a nice clean black GUI for your device. it also includes the skin classicblack.tsk, which you can put in your /storage card/ dir and then apply from start/settings/today/

I do belive ui tweeker will solve that for you, sorry i dont have the link. Hoorah to the creator of that app!

3 Qs. Today plugin borders / screen and screen dim settings

1) how do i make my today screen a pure color? say black? now its themes...
2) i notice there are slight grey borders around individual plugins.. it is making my today cluttered ... can i remove all borders?
3) i set my screen dim out to be 30 secs.. but after reset, it defaults to 10 secs.. can i permanently change it? thanks all thanks Q & A team

Ok here goes, have u tried UI Tweeker, attached see below:
Before u use it, download a black theme, or of coarse a jpeg with the correct size for your screen that is black. There are loads of black themes out there, sorry i have lost the link for a good free site, i will search for it.
Once you have a black theme on your phone, use ui tweeaker to change settings one at a time. There is function there on the tabs, to change top and bottom bars to plain black. You can change the screen headers to black, all sorts. some of the settings you need to soft reset to see the effect. What i would do is change two settings at a time so you know what does what.
Lastly, if you change the theme to a different one, the changes you made using ui tweeaker will be lost, but at least you will know how to do it again yes? lol

FOr the screen timeout, try advanced config, i think latest version is 3.3 using this u should be able to set the timeout to want you want and make it default at this. It is a lazy boy way of changing reg entries!

1. Use another themes that have a pure colour
2. I dont think you can, due to remove it we have to edit via HEX,. but i dont really know, maybe there was an apps that could remove it,.
3. thats a ROM bug, for sure,. contact your ROM cooker for that,.

Where are the lockscreen sliders on the leo?

As the title suggests i am trying to track down the images/files that contain the lock screen sliders. HTC have modified these files from the original ones i have noticed and these are no longer the easy to find LS_Lockscreen***.png's. I would like to customise them from boring grey an white to something more colourful but i cant find them!! Any help please.

1: what has HTCUSB2PC.png changed to as i hate the green dot when i connect to USB!!
2: Bootup animation: I have the following reg settings:

3: Change the Splashscreen!! the O2 Banner is really gay, i knew how to change the splash on the diamond by creating bmp, convert to *.nb, add some extra bytes, convert to *.nbh then flash.
is the same possible on the HD2? does it need HardSPL?
4: It seems that there are alot of repeated png's for eg, the comm manager switched use 4 png files which i have customised to grey:
Status_On
Status_Off
Status_On_Disabled
Status_Off_Disabled
etc, but EG: open comm mrg, enable wifi so the comm mgr switch is "Status_On" this will use my custom png i.e. grey. but if you click on the WiFi tab in Comm mgr, you go to the advanced screen and the WiFi switch has turned back to green.
this happens for everything in the comm mgr. where are the other "Green" switches?
