Draw out keyboard / SMS notification bubble.

Hello there users of Pro . Two short question about some annoying thing in our cool ppc.
1. Is there any way to disable sms notification bubble. I mean this cloud in bottom of the screen which appear when new sms / mms is received?
2. Is there some possibility or program which can help with mapping sms/mms button on full keyboard (draw out keyboard) to PocketCM?

for the bubble
go to sounds notification settings
go to receive sms then you can choose what things happen from there including turning off on screen notification
as far as the button im not sure but i hope so since thats one thing il really miss from the 8525 the message button is real nice
is pocketcm all that useful when 6.1 has the threaded sms and it has touchflo?

About PocketCM it is I think old habbit, but if there is no know solution to this then maybe I should think to habituate to thouchflo ...

noo problem
with the threaded on there is your inbox setup like pocketcm with just one message per recipient or is it in order of message recieved and only threaded when you open it?

In threaded there is one message per person like in PocketCM.

Diamond2 - Change default text size on SMS messages

hallow all
i have an htc diamond 2 , only problem is on sms massages , text is too small and difficult to read, any ideas on how to make text letters on sms bigger???

Hi!
1) Slide touchflo to the settings tab (the last one)
2) Press the left soft button that should say something like all settings (or maybe "more", I don't have a WWE ROM so I really don't know what the button label is). This will bring up the regular windows mobile settings dialog.
3) Select the screen or display icon
4) In the screen dialog select the last tab at the bottom, I should say something like text size
5) Slide the text size slider to desired value
6) You may have to soft reset the device for the changes to be effective

Edited the thread title for a little more clarity.
Also, have you tried sliding your finger on the zoom bar? I know the original Diamond supports zooming SMS text with the capacitive area.

Could you please provide some more information regarding how you actually reads your messages. There are at least 3 different places to read a SMS
1) The touchflo SMS tab
2) The touchflo contact SMS tab
3) The regular windows mobile messages application
The suggested solutions mentioned so far only changes the font size in the regular windows mobile messages application (alternative 3). I think the font size in the touchflo interface is hard coded by HTC, and is not changeable without decompiling the touchflo script files and changes the values. This is not something you wants to do, I guess there are only a couple of people in this entire forum capable of performing that task.

ok , nice question , now we getting somewhere , on regular windows sms i can read the text size which i have selected on my system - screen -text size, but needs for someone to play around with a couple of buttons to be able to see that text, also is not that user friendly , (for me at least).
now on the other two cases touchflo sms tabs and touchflo contact sms the text is very small. the last two cases i find it friendly and easy to use and navigate around your sms history with that person.

Regarding SMS editing
DO you know how to solve the problem of the textbox size (to small, you can see only one or 2 lines) when editing an sms from the sms list view ? (e.g. when you want to reply on the same windows where you read the received sms).

That's only the text box that you type in, not the window that displays the messages. If anyone know the messages one, let me know

In settings there is a setting where you change the text size. Make that bigger and SMS will be bigger..

Adding a gradient background on messages tab

Hi everyone!
I have just installed the tweak from the cab repository that allows your home tab background to be visible in all of the tabs... which I totally love!
The only problem is, if you choose a bright(ish) background, its very difficult to read a text message on the messages tab.
I was wondering, does anyone know of a way to add say, a PNG, that has a gradient/transparency fade behind the message text on the messages tab, as though it was a curtain kind of thing.
This would allow the background to show through, yet still allowing a message to be read!

if someone could make a mod that lets you add a gradient curtain thingy and wrap it up in a cab, I'm sure people will be willing to donate a few £s... I definitely would be.

I have been working on this one for weeks now, I've been able to change a whole lot in manila except for this freakin' unreadable white text in the messaging tab, when you've got the transparent backgrounds enabled. Indeed it would be very nice to have like a curtain thing on this tab to properly show your messages
Issue is driving me
If there's someone that is able to do this or even help me along the way,
it would keep me from a mental breakdown (sleepless nights are killin'ya)

tryed 1001 things fr the message tab, discused it with other developers on the forum but noresult. it is just impossible.

Missed Calls Gone

Hi guys,
I just upgraded the phone to the newer ROM that's available on the HTC website. On my home screen, the Missed calls function is gone and I'm left with the calender. Is there a way to add an extra function on top of the calender?

Stock Roms are limited.
WM 6.5 has replaced this with the quick links.
You can try installing a Manila tweak such as Cookies Home Tab or Max Sense for additional functionality.

Here did u get this ?? can the creator fix the missing link to the alarms?
This tweek is a must, very usefull, not only we get the call history back, but the quick link goes from 3x3 to a 4x4 Matrix.
Issues:
- The Date background was not correctly dimensioned(Fixed),
- The alarm click does nothing,
- It Creates 2 duplicate links in the start menu (for people and HTC calendar) .
Appart from this Issues, it's a very Usefull tweek.
I'll try to alter the original cab to include this changed File, and I'll post it back later on today.

Is it possible to fix Alarm Icon on desktop, because it doesn't work.
I would like to set alarm time from my desktop, but it is not possible, the icon doesn't work.
Is it any fix for that??

this is great tweek but i"m looking for the missed call tweek.
any 1 can help me?
i don't need the history only to see if i mussed call and when i see the call that i missed the message will disappear until the next time that i have a missed call

CHT Notifications - assigning another action

Hi everyone,
I use CHT 1.8.5.
I put on my screen 3 notification icons (CHT feature) - miss.calls, sms, e-mail.
I use manila but on my slider there is no sms card or e-mail card.
When sms,calls,e-mail comes, notification shows number. When I tap on miss.calls notification button, it works and it opens.
But when I tap on the other buttons nothing happens - notifications show there is an e-mail, sms, but tapping on them doesnt open my e-mail account or sms-client.
Can it be "fixed"?

Should work. Switch to CHT 2.0 - much more to play with, loads still to come and SMS/Email notifications definitely working there (plus slick new SMS and email widgets too...)

thx, I know CHT 2.0 has much more features. But as far as i know it's no stable, has some buges etc, it's beta. so i must wait.
but I now in 1.8.5 it should work this properly but it doesnt maybe because i have disabled e-mail sms manila card disabled. i dont like them
so does anybody know the trick to do it? something in the registry?

its still beta, so i would wait for alpha release..
dont know a solution for your problem..mine works pretty well (same version)..ask in cht thread.

My CHT works great, but i dont know why pushing these notification buttons works onlu with missed calls, and doesnt with email and sms.

I dont see why you wouldnt at least try 2.0 and see if you get any bugs.....
ive been using it for a while now and havent had any "major" bugs....
had some quicklinks move around a few times but not since the first alpha...
When you consider the amount of people saying its unstable compared to the amount of people using it........... looks like a pretty solid beta to me...
I wouldnt expect to see the final version for a while because the beta is performing well........
back to your problem.......
I dont think it will work if you turn off the tabs/cards....
have you tried turning them on and testing your notification icon......

conantroutman, when cards (email, sms) are turn on, it works well.
so i think tapping on this icon cant take my to the email,sms, because it works only with cards. if there are no email,sms cards on, it's "dead".

Same thing in CHT 2.0 - no email,sms cards on slider - there is no action when i tap on notification buttons (email, sms).

hmm, it will definately be worth the money But I think I'll go underground and try to find some warez
I just hope they won't f*ck up that self-destruct!! (imagine I'd brick my phone while pressing the sense nuke 2.0 widget )
