Hello there users of Pro . Two short question about some annoying thing in our cool ppc.
1. Is there any way to disable sms notification bubble. I mean this cloud in bottom of the screen which appear when new sms / mms is received?
2. Is there some possibility or program which can help with mapping sms/mms button on full keyboard (draw out keyboard) to PocketCM?

for the bubble
go to sounds notification settings
go to receive sms then you can choose what things happen from there including turning off on screen notification
as far as the button im not sure but i hope so since thats one thing il really miss from the 8525 the message button is real nice
is pocketcm all that useful when 6.1 has the threaded sms and it has touchflo?

About PocketCM it is I think old habbit, but if there is no know solution to this then maybe I should think to habituate to thouchflo ...

noo problem
with the threaded on there is your inbox setup like pocketcm with just one message per recipient or is it in order of message recieved and only threaded when you open it?
In threaded there is one message per person like in PocketCM.

I have Advanced Searched XDA and others looking for an answer on this.
Problem In Manila2D if you have unread SMS messages it shows the # on the icon. To rid yourself of this you must touch the screen to open the message then OK to return to Manila2D messaging tab. This will get rid of the # on the tab.
Solution Add a Dismiss or Save as Read to the Menu drop box. Most SMS messages are short enough to be read entirely from the tab without having to open SMS/MMS.
If anyone has any ideas on this I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
OK, I guess nobody has any thoughts on this. I have seen that there is a 3 second SMS mod that makes the notification go away after viewing the SMS tab for 3 secs. If anyone has more info on that I would appreciate it. Would be nice to make the change to any ROM running Manila2D. Thanks Again.

i have an htc diamond 2 , only problem is on sms massages , text is too small and difficult to read, any ideas on how to make text letters on sms bigger???

Hi!
1) Slide touchflo to the settings tab (the last one)
2) Press the left soft button that should say something like all settings (or maybe "more", I don't have a WWE ROM so I really don't know what the button label is). This will bring up the regular windows mobile settings dialog.
3) Select the screen or display icon
4) In the screen dialog select the last tab at the bottom, I should say something like text size
5) Slide the text size slider to desired value
6) You may have to soft reset the device for the changes to be effective

Edited the thread title for a little more clarity.
Also, have you tried sliding your finger on the zoom bar? I know the original Diamond supports zooming SMS text with the capacitive area.

Could you please provide some more information regarding how you actually reads your messages. There are at least 3 different places to read a SMS
1) The touchflo SMS tab
2) The touchflo contact SMS tab
3) The regular windows mobile messages application
The suggested solutions mentioned so far only changes the font size in the regular windows mobile messages application (alternative 3). I think the font size in the touchflo interface is hard coded by HTC, and is not changeable without decompiling the touchflo script files and changes the values. This is not something you wants to do, I guess there are only a couple of people in this entire forum capable of performing that task.

ok , nice question , now we getting somewhere , on regular windows sms i can read the text size which i have selected on my system - screen -text size, but needs for someone to play around with a couple of buttons to be able to see that text, also is not that user friendly , (for me at least).
now on the other two cases touchflo sms tabs and touchflo contact sms the text is very small. the last two cases i find it friendly and easy to use and navigate around your sms history with that person.

DO you know how to solve the problem of the textbox size (to small, you can see only one or 2 lines) when editing an sms from the sms list view ? (e.g. when you want to reply on the same windows where you read the received sms).

That's only the text box that you type in, not the window that displays the messages. If anyone know the messages one, let me know
In settings there is a setting where you change the text size. Make that bigger and SMS will be bigger..

And how make real .gif smiles in incoming SMS messages (like in this forum ?) is it could setting in *.xml or in *.dll files?
I think that it possible, because web links and digits are underline in incoming messages, so it could be the clue to make decision.
Any ideas?
P.S. pls do not tell about any third-party soft like "smileySMS" or smth.

Tap number button and you'll see 1/2 tap that and it will take you the symbol page...It's not like iphone emoji though.

anyone who knows how to do this? I found some apps but they send the actual graphic.. I only want my phone to recognize a ':)' and display it as a graphic (png/gif) in my messages. I only know how to do this in .php, ans there it is no problem at all, so why should it be on winmo/sense??
(good user interface for editing smileys and text to project them, such in live messenger for PC would be awesome!)

Ok, I have a T*Mobile HTC Touch Pro2. From the home screen you see a slider bar at the bottom. One of the tabs available is for the SMS/MMS program which if I understand correctly is Manilla. This program is nice but I'm very annoyed that I have to input ONE CONTACT AT A TIME when I send a mass message...which I do very often. So here is what I wanna do...
I want to change the tab so that it pulls up a new SMS/MMS program instead of manilla. Let's call it EXAMPLE_PROG as the app I just installed SMS-CHAT doesn't do MMS as well, so I need to find a different app that includes both AND lets me do some sort of checklist to add multiple contacts at once. If you know of one, lemmie know.
Anywho, I have a registry editor and I have edited my laptop registry before so I know a little of what I am doing and I know that changing things I shouldn't COULD brick my phone. Therefore, I'm asking for help. What do I change so that choosing the MESSAGES tab brings up EXAMPLE_PROG instead?

I use CHT 1.8.5.
I put on my screen 3 notification icons (CHT feature) - miss.calls, sms, e-mail.
I use manila but on my slider there is no sms card or e-mail card.
When sms,calls,e-mail comes, notification shows number. When I tap on miss.calls notification button, it works and it opens.
But when I tap on the other buttons nothing happens - notifications show there is an e-mail, sms, but tapping on them doesnt open my e-mail account or sms-client.
Can it be "fixed"?

Should work. Switch to CHT 2.0 - much more to play with, loads still to come and SMS/Email notifications definitely working there (plus slick new SMS and email widgets too...)

thx, I know CHT 2.0 has much more features. But as far as i know it's no stable, has some buges etc, it's beta. so i must wait.
but I now in 1.8.5 it should work this properly but it doesnt maybe because i have disabled e-mail sms manila card disabled. i dont like them
so does anybody know the trick to do it? something in the registry?
its still beta, so i would wait for alpha release..
dont know a solution for your problem..mine works pretty well (same version)..ask in cht thread.

Do you have e-mail and sms CARDS on your SLIDER turn on?
My CHT works great, but i dont know why pushing these notification buttons works onlu with missed calls, and doesnt with email and sms.

I dont see why you wouldnt at least try 2.0 and see if you get any bugs.....
ive been using it for a while now and havent had any "major" bugs....
had some quicklinks move around a few times but not since the first alpha...
When you consider the amount of people saying its unstable compared to the amount of people using it........... looks like a pretty solid beta to me...
I wouldnt expect to see the final version for a while because the beta is performing well........

I dont think it will work if you turn off the tabs/cards....
have you tried turning them on and testing your notification icon......
