If I follow this way to put an Italian I-mate rom into my German O2 XDAneo,SPL 2.15, now.......in the future, can I reflash it with an original German O2 rom?
This is important for the warranty ....

I'm going to be crazy, I tryed several times to change, update to the last Dopod ROM, I mean IPL 2.15 _ SPL 2.15.0001 but no way.
Now I can find on welcome screen this information: (i-nate JAMin ESP)

If you follow the wiki the first thing you can read (in capitals) is the following:
WARNING!!!!! DO NOT PERFORM THIS IF YOUR PROPHET HAS THIS ROM "SPL 2.xx.0001"
It's only for versions 2.09, 2.13, or 2.15 (without .001)

If you follow all the steps you'll have your machine without CID, and you can upgrade or downgrade it. You can't see 2.15.001 when you've just finished all the steps, but you can install the ROM that you want.
I've the last dopod ROM and I'll prefer the spanish imate one, but i can (mine is 2.15.001).

Belive me, I follow all the step the Dopod and PDAMobiz guys mentioned, but I can not see the IPL 2.15.0001. I tested many ROM's and at least for me the most porwerful is the last Dopod with overclock at 240 MGz, but I don't like these many programs, my problem is: I can not see the IPL 2.15.0001 on welcome screen, that is. I was running with Spanish Qtek 2.09..... with the lasted Dopod 2.15, with the PDAMobiz ROM and now with the i-mate JAMin - Spanish 2.13.
But sorry I never saw on my screen the 2.15.0001. I have all the tools such CID unlock, Overclock, all the lasted ROM's in market... But the way, I'm rellya happy with the i-mate JAMin Rom, also is my 7th. PPC and is in Spanish language, with overclock is speed improve so much (at 240 MHz)

I have a CID-Locked QTEK S200 (G4 Version). Its language was originally Portuguese and through some info collected in this forum i managed to successfully change its language to English, leaving IPL and SPL untouched. So far so good.
What if i want to update the Radio ROM?

yes, I have G4 CID-locked prophet and it works perfect
I don't remember right now if I had to use NV-ID so you have to try by yourself

just upgrade your device to any available English ROM.
about SIM locked, search for unlocking tools in this forum..Im sure you'll find it!

Removing SPL you can now upgrate without problems if you have SPL 3.08... And removing IPL, You can upgrate without problems what IPL you have!... And with this rom, is good to go with step one, and go to step two, to install wm6'roms!

I Think isn't necessary to use this rom's... but you knows....
If the original pack reject the original rom pack qtek 2.20 (because SPL and IPL)...! you need to use this rom's!...

There is no option to down the spl free (i think)!!!
Use this roms to upgrate your prohpet... because this roms reject all SPL and IPL you have!
Add a new pack rom Aku2.20 with 3.08 IPL and 2.20 SPL ONLY FOR G4... see on first post!

You have to pay to get spl back!

My S200 is frozen with the bootloader tricolor screen... and I can't seem to get out of there... any options?
I tried to convert my PTG rom to a WWE no_vendor_ID and it has frozen...
How can I solve this without having to take my S200 to the store I bought it from?

while i was upgrade my jamin , the os i download show a problem @ my laptop and get closed and when i turn off then on my jamin it just stop with the i-mate sceen and nothing more than that, is it means it is dead now nothing to do to it ?
it could be connect through da sync or wut ever , so wut i have to do help help help

I don't doubt that, the last rom that p4k1t0 share was infected with Virus.Win32.Sality.l

I dont beliave p4k1t0 do this on porpose but he didn't tell a word about the subject on the above thread, the normal would be to apologise, my computer was totaly infected in one night.
If anybody got infected by Sality run online panda scan it clean it nicelly.

for the more easy it is for you, you'd better flash the English ROM ( WWE ) because mennganti language in windows system is not easy and many people who could not make it

I am just doing that
I already did jumpSPL -> hardSPL and flashed custom BIOS boot screen, now I'm backing up client's personal stuff (contacts and phone logs basically) and then I'll get rid of his bloated stock 6.1 AT&T Tilt ROM with fresh eOS FIRE ROM without touching the radio at all, as he specifically requested not to change it because it works well for him (and since I'm flashing WM6.1 -> WM6.1 it will wqork on new ROM too).
