HTC Fuze Problem, somebody help pls.

I am facing two problems with HTC Fuze (ATT)
1. When i disconnect phone, it automatically connects to EDGE. How to stop this?
2. When i search some of the sites on net, it prompts me with a message
"Please use Internet Explorer Version 5.5 or later".
Now as per WinMo 6.1, IE is latest. How to inform the website about browser capabilities?
I'm assuming you are using the new updated fuze rom.
1) It has been an issue that I have yet to find an answer to, but someone should come up with an explanation and execution of a cab for this at one point or time.
2) The site is confusing your phone's IE as something completely different. Your best bet is either have IE present itself in a different mode (Iris and Opera should be able to do it, so IE should have the same capabilities) or use Opera or Iris as a back up browser.

browsers shutting down need help

when i click on certain links on certain sites like ebay googlemail and recently freeware site the browser shuts down automaticly.i use opera even with internet explorer the same thing happens.im using tmobile sim.i was wondering is it the network.
might happen because of video plugins
Hi, it happens to me when the page in question has embedded video. Not necessarily all the browsers will automatically shut themselves, so far only happened to me when using Opera
i have understood the problem i changed the sim to another network it runs fine.
because it was originaly launched as contract i had problems using a pay and go sim.this depends on the network how well there service is.i think contract sim is best to use .i tested certain networks
It happens to me with some sites even via WiFi, so I think it's site related.
Nick
It might be better with the Skyfire browser

Internet Explorer Not Opening Up Mobile Versions of Websites

I have always used Opera for normal websites and always set IE to use the mobile version of websites. Whatever I do, I cannot get Internet Explorer to open all mobile versions of websites like tivo.com or hhonors.com or delta.com or any others. I manually have to enter the mobile version URL myself. I've changed the settings to MOBILE COMPUTER and even messed with the user agent registry entries. I can't get anything to work. Any ideas?

I don't know why but when I changed my IE settings to mobile device, and I typed in the address bar "mlb.com", it went to the mobile version, where as before with the desktop computer setting, if I would type "mlb.com" it would display the desktop version of the site. Maybe its something specific to your device (i.e. any software installed, ect.) but when I changed the setting it did go to the mobile version. I also checked the sites you listed and experience the same problem. The other thing it may be is that those site may not have their site set up to detect a mobile device as mlb.com & other sites have. Just because they have a mobile site, doesn't necessarily mean they set up their site to detect your device setting & redirect you to the mobile version of their site. Were you able to see these sites detected as mobile site on a different device other than the TP2?
Try an older verson of P.I.E.
I could not use GoToMyPC because the Touch Pro 2 P.I.E was not treated as a mobile browser.
The only solution I found was using an older version of P.I.E. Some Touch Pro 2 features will not work (zoom bar, double tapping screen) but not a big deal.
Hope this helps.

wifi app ?

Hi
Does anybody know if there is a app for the tg01 that does the following.
When I launch opera or internet explorer I have to select my wireless network first and then launch the browser.
On my wife's Nokia 5800 when you launch the web browser you get a popup that asks you if you want to use wifi or normal mobile internet.
Is there anything like this on the tg01 ? it seems so much easier that having to launch wifi and then launch the browser.
Thanks
Up to support ), yes, I'm waiting for this long time ago. Most of symbian fone have this function.

3G works with Opera but doesn't work with other browsers

My 3G connection works with most of the applications I have on my HTC Desire and I can access the internet via Opera but I cannot access internet using any other browser. I searched the internet and found a few threads which discussed the same as well. Any idea why this occurs?
I have the exact same problem. I am running MIUI on my Desire Z
