i have a brand new imate jama p30 stuck on startup screen.when i insert the battery into device it is getting switchh on automatically,without pressing the power button,but getting stuck on startup screen and remained till i do not remove the battery.I tried to connect with pc but pc not able to detect at all.
help me to solve the problem.if i can in anyway repair via software then please do post the link for the ROM.

stuck on startup i- mate jama 100% solve with hard reset,
remove battery, and hold press volume down(-) and power on button siment...
insert battery, when led on, realese buttons. wait few min.
reseted 100% work for me.
Remove Memory Card and then Hard Reset Then . set will be ok if problem is stuck on boot screen.. with Red Light..
and when u r done .. any time set restarts remove memory card to set work properly .. after set starts then put ur sd card in..
i did so but same problem . nothing happened, i think imate should ve something else to do rather than manufucturing pda, , imate: pls give up, its over

i've tried hard reset by pressing the Volume(-) and the Red hang up button but in vain.
even when i connect USB cable to my device, it is not deteced by my PC nor by AciveSync.
what should i do?

i made a very stupid mistake. i tried to update my Magician with Wizzard ROM.
The process went good, all the steps had been done perfectly, but my MDA crashed totally. The only think, that's happening when i'm pressing on/off button is a once instant flash of display.
I know, that's is too naive from my side to think that there is any hope, but anyway: is there any way how to solve this problem?

I am having the same problems as bplb71....
No way to do a HardReset or Leave bootloader.... It got stuck

found a mgician and it starts but hangs o the align screen
the thing you need to press keeps moving arround the screen for 20 min and then i stopped
i am also having the same problem.,, cant enter the bootloader or hard reset ,,,,,magician is stuck now,,, what should i do now???? i am worried.

Try this
Take battery out remove SD card.
Then switch on holding volume down button, to get to bootloader
Then hopefully recovery
keep taking out the battery (as said above) keep at the sometimes like a pc phones take a hissey fit and wont turn on for up to an hour after this then your in trouble

I've tryed to install a Custom ROM on my Tinji 9300, but I selected to Flash the "PRELOADER" option, and now I'm unable to fix it...
The device connects to the PC in Recovery Mode pressing Volume UP & Volume Down & Home & Power Button and being the battery unplugged. After I plug the USB and the the Battery and recognizes the phone, it's not totally Bricked. The Screen doesn't light up and nothing happens, but it writes on FlashTool.
I attached the screen of the error, I don't know what to do anymore, I am very tired and don't have any ideas...

I experinced the same error message while trying to flash Alcatel OT 918..searched for solution but never got any.
At last i flashed a custom ROM(Andread 2.0) which worked after attaching a new IMEI coz at first phone couldn't connect to network due to IMEI issue.
But then my phone can't go back to the original ROM.
If u find help on the DRAM error please share.

with the help of odin i flash the stockrom sucessfully and shows pass....
when i turning on my phone by pressing the power button at least 10 sec. i hear a start up sound and the light led on and also i can hear a sound when im touching the touch screen... pls guys im having this issue since 1 week now to figure out what the main pbroblem why still my screen is not turning on shows black screen ...
one more thing when i plug the usb yo my pc i canhear a sound charging and connected but still black screen..
my pc detect my phone but i cant see the internal storage in my pc ...
