Sorry for the double post,
I'm looking for a copy of the Windows mobile 6.1 v1.0b for Vox verison of Dr. Gonzo's ROM.
This was the last version that allowed me to run Microsoft's Live Communication 2005. It's the version my company uses (Wish they would upgrade soon). The 6.1 V1.1 ROM does not allow it to run.
Any help locating this version?

a friend of mine needs that too
his camera worked last with that version and he needs to check if its a software or a hardware issue

I've got Dr. Gonzo's Windows Mobile 6.1 v1.0b ROM. I'll upload it to Windows Live Skydrive and post the Link tomorrow.

and a europe original rom would be great just in case I have to use the warranty

There are a lot of original ROMs on the ftp, please look in the wiki, there is an explanation for the xda-developers.com ftp.

Thanks for the link to the site but I checked and could not find the 6.1 v1.0b ROM file. I managed to find the 0.5 ROM file from Dr. Gonzo. I'll still hope for some kind VOX user to post the file for me or let me know where I can pull it from.
I'd actually prefer if my company upgraded to the latest version of Microsoft Live Communicator .... But that is not likely to happen anytime soon, so I'm stuck.

Uploading 1.0 right now, I am not sure if it's the original 1.0 or 1.0b release, version notes indicate 1.0, based on HTC 1.34 ROM. I do believe there are only cosmetic differences however. Hopefully a true 1.0b can be uploaded and posted by Rolandh soon.
I will edit the post and add the mediafire link once it is done.

Thanks, will definitely try this. I am running the previous version (V4) now, which I like, with the exception of SIPs not working -- TouchPal, PCMKeyboard, Diamond keyboards -- none work. I hope this one works.
Leo, a couple of suggestions:
- Include Diamond keyboard in your build. Others may prefer TouchPal, etc. but Diamond keyboards are free, so it would be a nice touch
- If there is a way to not show the video dialer, that'd be great. I'd rather not install another dialer on top, and I don't have any use for video dialing (AT&T/US). I do like the feel of that dialer otherwise
- Include HTCHomeCustomizer
- Include changes similar to what Sleuth does with "TurboMode" (change glyphcache limit, turn on filesystem caching, set a large file cache size)

Are 1.65.xxxx radios compatable with this rom? or just 1.64.xxx and the 1.58.xxx radios? From my past rom flashes I've found it's usually one lot or the other

first of all i did not cook this rom, i downloaded from oiopda it a the lastes rom build form 6.5 full WWE(english)
first impression this rom is fast very god like fast and stable, this is by far the fastest rom iv seen of 6.5 for the tornado. so yea enjoy guys

This ROM is very quick!! But many functions are still chinese. The icons are great. But I cannot access the T9 menu when composing SMS. Only writing numbers. How can I access it?
dunno man as i said the i did not cook the rom, plus the website is in chines
and the apps that are nto translated are quite uslesss, the primary important stuff is in full english plus i like the font, and above all the speed of the rom is unreal
Yes, this rom is fastest then all.
Only it need to rebuild: chinese font, apps and lockscreen (total >5MB) will be removed and XT9 preinstalled.

Fix English XT9:
download zip archive in attached, extract zip and files which are in folder OEMET9 copy to device to folder Windows and .rgu file import via program CeRegEditor and do softreset. After SR writing letters working .
OEMT9, same as above, but with english, russian, french and german languages.

i appreciate the effort for converting to WWE but has a lot of work to be done compared to this release.
Here is new ROM WM 6.5 Professional XIP 21501 and SYS 21234. And here is newest ROM WM6.5 Pro build 21806 . Can anyone upload it please? I don't know how I can register on their forum.

First of all I am sorry about my english as I am from Pakistan and english is not our native language . I dont know if its posted before or not if it is posted admin plz remove my post . Onboard D3D Driver?!
After first start of this rom on my MDA Vario III, I've tried to run the q3ce, which requires D3D drivers. I did not install any of them! Just tried tu run the game, and it is running!!! Slow, and unplayable, but running! So I think this rom should have a kind of driver, shouldn't it? And I've realized, that the camera is much faster, even in darker room. And it requires a better video driver for this performance, isn't it?
If anyone can do it,please post the kitchen of the rom(not just only the rom) here,so anyone can selcet the 3rd applications that who like to use!

I need a 21056 build! I have no idea how to make ROMS and I've been trusting you guys lately with 6.5
6.5 is too glitchy and slow for me but the 21056 build seems like to be the best of the best for 6.1. Can anyone upload it?
