If you use PDAVIET Upgrade_rom, put OS.nb in PDAVIET FOLDER and change name to pdaviet.nb, then run UPGRADE_ROM.bat
Smart1 1.3 version is working great, but my wifi works correctly but after 10 seconds internet conection falls, why??

i seem to be having a problem with my bluetooth and wifi. bluetooth is a driver missing (i've installed bt_stack51v05) wifi start but doesn't respond

Only problems I found so far:
- IR does not work
- After soft reset Brightness set to "0" (installed SPB Phone Suite, will test if PS has something to to with it.)
Things that work well wich didn't on older WM6 ROM's:
- SMS is still their after soft reset!

Hi mccune, it has to do with SPB, i got the same prob. but only one time. After softreset and a dark display, i changed the brightness in SPB today plugin and everything works fine. Its no WM6 error.

Funny, SBSH PhoneWeaver has the same problem.. ..guess I've just got to wait till they've made both programs compatible with WM6

SPB Phone-Suite is designed for WM6. Have a look at their site, its posted under requirements.

Great work, installed from Jester-r1 and works until 12 hours.
ActiveSync over bluetooth and WiFi works.

Download WM5 ROM for Phophet device n flash it first, then upgrade with WM6 ROM. If you search for it, Im sure you'll get it! There also got nice place called XDA-Wiki

Well - it took me all of 2 minutes to search the forum and find out how to change the PP to 8MB before flashing my Uni, so I don't really see the difficulty myself
Of course, if people asked *nicely*, I may be persuaded to upload my modded nk.nbf to Rapidshare

WOW!!!! really fast rom!!! Never seen other rom like this.
with 8PP set on 64MB uni, 23 MB memory free but with nothing installed.
Not testing bluetooth + wifi yet....
P.S. 1: No andvanced wifi settings in rom - how can we boost signal? uni has already bad wifi b card.
Also poor Comm Manager.
P.S. 2: with a keyboard, and 2 small programs fall to 22,5MB -VERY GOOD.....
but while adding Touch Commander suite (without cube) memory fall to 13 MB!!!! and installed it in storage card (not in phone memory)
P.S. 3: No MMS software

A screenshot wouldn't help - this is a pretty vanilla WM6.1 ROM, but it *is* fast, and it *does* have lots of free space on initial (cold) boot.
Sadly, I have already installed some stuff, so I can't remember exactly what was available 'cold', but it was over 30MB Storage, and around 28MB Program on my 64MB Uni.

Kudos for this - so far it's fast, light and stable!
I'd like to use this as a basis for cooking my own ROM with a few additions (like wktask, and maybe even Opera 9.5), but am getting a *lot* of "Missing RGU" errors from PKGTool. Is this a problem, or were those RGUs not used for a reason?
I looked in the 'dump' directory, and none of the RGUs exist anywhere...

Hi Guys,
This is my first contribution to xda so a big thanks to all those chefs who contributed a lot to this forum.
This ROM is similar to Alex's Ultra Clean ROM. I uploaded the ROM and the ROM Folders for all you chefs out there. It's been stripped down to the most basic ROM and removed almost everything except for HTC Device Drivers. ROM itself is only 44MB.
To cook, simply build everything inside the Packages folder (containing only the required DLL and Drivers). Packages-Optional folder contains all applications that were removed, and ready for cooking.
No tweaks were made in this ROM.
The ROM is based on RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_3.28.405.0_radio_sign_25.83.40.02_1.65.16.25_Ship and has been tested only with 3.28 HardSPL.

For the Program Memory, it only shows around 85mb. This is because of dynamic PP. Please refer to this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=390471. If set to static, it will show up around 91mb. Play around with the PP.

Minor release. HTC Lite v1.1
1. Separated PhoneSetting package from PhoneCanvas. PhoneSetting allows you to see the tab PIN, Band, PIN2, Time Zones, Data and More, under Settings->Phone.
2. Separated the package for NewMailAccount.
3. Removed some packages from SYS. (See SYS-Deleted)
4. SMSInboxThreading package - Inside is the file SMSInboxThreading which you can rename to SMSInboxThreading.exe. This will allow you to enable/disable SMS Threading.
To use, simply delete the folders OEM, OEM-Deleted, Packages, Packages-Optional, and SYS and replace with the v1.1 ROM Folders file.
Update 3:
Minor release. HTC Lite v1.2
Managed to get more free space out of this ROM.

Total: 171.51 MB
In use: 3.11 MB
Free: 168.40 MB
Program
Total: 85.32 MB
In use: 28.57 MB
Free 56.75 MB
Update 4:
HTC Lite v1.3 based on 3.34.721.2. One new thing about this package is you can put your own custom settings by looking at the Custom_Settings folder package. I haven't thoroughly tested this one since the previous one was based on 3.38. Packages which are selected by default are needed to run the HTC OEM applications (like backlight.exe). Some packages also make the device more responsive like "SlidingSound" when the device is slide open. Just experiment, have fun !

To cook, use the kitchen from Alex, then replace the OEM and SYS folder with this package. Make sure to use the official HTC ROM 3.34 WWE when coooking. Don't forget to replace the BaseROM and ROM folder with the original WWE when cooking.

3.29 is the dopod version. It should be basically the same thing. The 3.28 is the official WWE kaiser rom.

For now I'm sticking first with WWE versions. There shouldn't be that much difference except for the applications bundled with it.

Pagepool is dynamic... Please check this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=390471
Basically, dynamic PP eats up the program memory but if you try to make it static, like 6MB, you will get 91mb Program Memory.

Benchmark results wouldn't be that good since I didn't tweak it. My intention for releasing this is for everyone to have a clean ROM Folders for all you chefs to customize.

Yes it will, and I guess the original one would also, just realized that 1st error msg was main battery power (which was written in German)

Strange, flashed the cht version with the attached update tool, everything went fin to 100% no error message but now.....

Are you using Ham3r's driver to enable read/write access to the extended ROM?
Have you considered a 6.5 ROM without phone? That might work out well, if the absence of phone leaves more free RAM.

No, I am not using that driver. I will try to cook it in my next ROM release. I'll also start cooking WM6.5 and 6.5.x versions of this ROM.

My Wizard has languished in a drawer for some time but I will get it out for this!
May try to get some time later next week to have a go...

yes, sorry .. exactly how much ram do we have free if we use your ROM ?
