Access to a shared network folder. - HTC Vox

Hello, did someone know a software (freeware ) to access to my shared folder on my home networks with the VOX??
I already try TotalCommander, and the original explorer without success.

up nobody to help me ???

Microsoft did not develop drivers for network access on smartphones. However, it is possible on PocketPCs. Since there are no drivers, there is no software. Maybe some third party app that uses its own standard, but I don't know one!
EDIT:
You could set up a ftp server on your PC and use it from your smartphone, that works!

hmu, ok :/ I will try.

Internet sharing cab file?

Does anyone know if you can get a cab file or if there is a registry tweak to restore internet sharing (pan) to WM 6. I have a pre release kaiser that has wmodem but no internet sharing and I cant get dun to work properly to tether to my laptop for internet. I thought wm 6 came standard with internet sharing so I dont know if it's hidden (registry tweak) or if it's been taken off the rom and there is some way to restore it. Any help would sure be appreciated. Thanks
Try this.. unzip it and copy the 2 files into your widows directory on your phone. then create a shortcut icon in Windows>Start Menu>Programs
That worked! You the man. Thanks so much for the help.
you're welcome
wm5?
Is there an internet connection sharing for WM5?
I have a Softbank X02HT Windows Mobile Smartphone Edition (same as HTC Cavalier / Dopod C730) with crippled Internet Sharing.
I tried this cab file which would open the UI but would show blanks for the Internet and local connections. I managed to pull off the intshrui and intshrui.dll files from a Samsung Blackjack, and now it shows connections and I can actually establish a connection - but when I connect my PC to it, it fails to get an IP address.
Does anyone know which other files are being used by Internet Sharing? Which other files beside intshrui.* do I need to copy from the BlackJack, or if it is even possible?

Same problem here. Maybe the .dll file is carrier specific. A stretch but I can't think of any other reason why this doesn't work.

There are no threads. We are asking for a Cavalier forum but nobody is doing any yet.

I downloaded the internet sharing files, but when I run the program on my Samsung Blackjack II the "PC Connection" and "Network Connection" fields are empty and it does not let me change it.

oh man i wish you were wrong
i guess the only solution left is by using some kind of a vnc server
though i am not sure on how to use one..
1. Establish adhoc connection between smartphone and laptop. I don't rnow how to do it exactly as I don't have another wi-fi enabled device.
2. Start ftp-server on smartphone. Only in russian http://board.riot.ru/27-smartfony/13312-smartftpserver-ftp-server-dlya-smartfonov.html
3. Acces it via ftp://smartphone's-ip:21
4. Profit
frankly that is pathetic! Microsoft is retarded! My ipaq 1945 could do that!
Sorry for my bad english. I see some posts in another forum where peoples get some dll from pocket pc firmware and put it in windows folder. And in explorer add folder Network Neiborhood. All works correct.

I'm specially interested in this issue. I really would like to make my device discoverable and able to share files with other systems, like other desktops do.

A program to access my pc from hd2

Hey guys
i have been trying to fing a way to link my computer files or even a drive on my pc to htc hd2 where i can open from any where
and use its files like modefing it or attach any of them to a mail and send it through my mobile
so i will be so thankfull if someone can give me some advice about that
thank you
if you create a dropbox folder on your desktop with items in it you wish to access, you can use the browser on your phone to acess, download and modify them via the dropbox website.
The first step you must take is sharing the drive or folder you wish to access. This is achieved by right clicking the desired item and selecting "Properties", then going to the "Sharing" tab and staring blankly at it until the wysiwyg interface makes sense.
Once your share is created, you should either buy Resco Explorer and use it's "map network path" function while connected to your home Wi-Fi, or install/buy nothing but apply slightly more elbow grease and access your files using WM's built in file explorer.
The built in File Explorer application can access net shares by choosing "Menu"=>"Go To"=>"Open Path"=>"New Path..." and inputting the share adress formatted as follows: "\\ComputerNameOrIP\Share".
Now, this will obviously only allow WiFi access. To have truly anywhere, anytime type access install an ftp server on your pc in combination with "kickme.to" or a similar service and setting secure ftp shares for aforementioned files and folders, having RTFM'ed beforehand on both FTP serving and IP dynamic rerouting services such as kickme.to.
My sincere hopes to have made sense, DuperMan
You could also try Live Mesh. A free service from Microsoft which is quite similar to Dropbox but has a native WM client which I find preferable to browser access.
It's worth noting that a Dropbox WM client is in development, and I personally can't wait for that!
Thank you doperman

[Q] FTP File Transfer from Moto G

FTP file transfer works on every phone I have used except the Moto G with Kit Kat. Have others gotten it to work?
For the FTP server on the android side, I have tried numerous apps, including ES File Explorer's Remote Manager feature. On the client side, I have tried numerous apps including FileZilla.
I have no problem establishing FTP connections, but the file transfers do not complete properly. It appears that on the android side it thinks it has sent the entire file, but on the PC side it thinks the last 5% or so still needs to be sent. With some FTP clients, they will request the file again and again and eventually it will get the entire thing, but it takes way too long.
When I use the exact same FTP servers and clients with Android Gingerbread devices, everything works perfectly.
In PC you can just share a folder over the network and connect to it via ES Explorer. I used to transfer that way and was good by then.
Sent from my XT1052 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
With ES File Explorer and Filezilla I made all the transfers to (and from) Moto G. Never had a problem.
Have you tried changing the port (e.g. from ES File Explorer's 3721 to the standard port 21)?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. ES File Explorer only allows ports 1025-65534 for FTP. I'm not sure why it doesn't allow standard FTP port 21. Any ideas?

Thanks for the idea. I gave your suggestion a try, and it works, but it requires that I move (or copy) all files to be transferred into another folder before transferring. After transferring, then I need to delete all the copies. I'd like to avoid the extra steps, but I do sincerely appreciate your suggestion.
I've tried everything I can think of, and I just can't get FTP transfers to work as expected on this phone (see first post for what happens). There's gotta be a solution, especially given the report above that another user has no difficulty.
I figured it out!!! :victory:
After much pondering, thinking, and tinkering, I figured it out. It was a rule in iptables that blocked the linux kernel from accessing wifi.
Now as to why it needs access, I dunno. If you know, please enlighten.
The great news is that it works now! :cyclops:
