Screen protector for Samsung i780 - General Topics

Can anyone suggest a good screen protector for the i780? I like Brando's screen protectors and they have one for the samsung i780: http://shop.brando.com.hk/prod_detail.php?prod_id=02405 but it looks like the screen protector for the Treo 750. If so, then this will only cover the touch screen part and will not include the par with the Samsung name and the part below the screen.
I want a screen protector to cover the whole glass front of the Samsung i780 so does anyone know a compatible screen protector to do this? Preferably one like Brando's.

Maybe you could use the matte screen protector for the i-Phone from dealextreme.com - just cut out the necessary dimensions.. that's what I plan on doing. Hopefully the screen will be more visible under direct sunglight with the matte coating...

Real glare effect reduction?
What about Proporta one?
It seems to cover the all glass and promises to improve the performanche in direct sunlight (the worst cons of i780 in my opinion).
A good review here.
Anybody tested it?

I´ve just bought that one from Brando, and it´s perfect. Easy to install, easy to avoid bubbles, and it is the right dimensios incluind the top of the pda. It covers the all glass from top to bottom. When installed, you can´t tell that there is a screen protector installed. Great colors
The proporta one, i didn´t like it, because it was very dim. The screen stay´s not very clear to read.

concur - I purchased the brando one and whatever picture they use on the website - it's the right dimensions for the i780.

not sure if they make one for your device, but this has been performing fantastically on my Treo: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=341689

Does someone know is brando i780 screen protector really removable and reusable and also washable?

Martin Fields protector also comes with a small camera protector, but 4 this price I'd buy a BoxWave AntiGlare protector.
But whatever, I'm gonna try the Brando one...

Even with Gorilla Glass i would want one for anti-glare and anti-fingerprint measures.
There are many conflicting reports on the web re the screen, where does it state that it has Gorilla Glass.

lg italy on twitter.
nah, my opinion would be don't use any screen protector. the screen already has a stereoscopic film w/c makes the display a bit pale. so putting on a screen protector might affect the viewing quality more... been using mine for some time now and still doesn't have a single scratch on the screen(*crossing fingers)...
So now that the phone is released who is going to be putting screen protectors on them and does anyone know what the best method is for putting a screen protector on.
I have a screen protector on mine (don't trust the phone yet, nor do i have a whole lot of trust in myself). 3D still works great and the 2D viewing experience is, in practice, unaffected. Installation depends on the kind of screen protector you are going to use.

How did you put your screen protector on?
Well, i just put it on.
It's a PIXXENO C82RS (crystal clear, no adhesive). The only difficulty is aligning the screen protector properly since you'll notice even half a milimeter. Besides that you should pay close attention to dust since you would notice that as well beneath the protector. But it's relatively thick and easy to apply without airbubbles.
I'm looking to get a nice screen protector for mine too. btw, so happy with this phone! everyone I show is blown away by the 3d! usually saying "I thought it would be a gimmick but thats really good!"
For my wifes iphone I just got a generic screen protector and used a drop of water to apply and a baby's plastic spoon (solid but soft enough not to scrach/mark the plastic) to push any bubbles out.
Brando ultra clear screen protector became available few days ago - I've just ordered one.
Currently I have Proporta's universal 4.5" protector. It's better than nothing, but I feel it's too thick and doesn't adhere completely to the screen at the edges. (I know 4.5" is different than O3D's nominal 4.3" screen diagonal, but the protector almost perfectly covers the screen + keys, everything except upper area with front camera.)
I bought screen protector for Samsung Galaxy S, it perfectly fits the Optimus P920 screen, i only cut about 1-2cm at the bottom. The whole screen of P920 and touch buttons is covered, its really perfectly fits to Optimus 3D
I bought two packed pieces of it for about 6,50€ .
Just applied Brando ultra clear protector to the screen. Very happy with it, it's nearly 100% transparent.
Naturally I hate putting on screen protector or cases on my phone. I came from SGS to O3D and I didn't need a screen protector (a real gorilla ). Unfortunately I have seen some little scratches on my O3D . It looks like I will be parting with this phone sooner

gorilla glass only goes so much if you have, for example, specks of sand in your pocket or if the phone falls in gravel/tarmac..
Screec Protectors FTW
Could anyone recommand a good (tested!) screen protection that have the properties of anti-glare and anti-fingerprint? Some ebay links?
I´m using EXIM screen protectors: http://shop.eximstyle.com/ quality is good, price is cheap and fitment is perfect.

[Q] Anti-Glare Screen Protector?

Wondering if anyone has picked up a nice anti-glare protector? Thinking of ordering the ones from E-Cell on eBay, but the previous protectors I got from them were not too impressive. One came stained brown, and the one I applied made it hard to slide smoothly across screen. Wasn't a perfect fit and speaker / Windows button cutouts looked pretty shoddy, but at least it gave full coverage (most eBay protectors have huge cutouts at top / bottom).
tye to search feyong screen protector, you will find the manufacturer
I'm using Vikuiti screen protector ADQC27, and its great.

Advice request for Screen Protector

Hi guys,
I saw several topics relative to screen protectors but I'm a bit lost when it comes to choose a good screen protector that fit my requirements..
Right now, I am using the screen protector (and back protector) delivered with the phone (not talking about the anti-shatter film), but I got recently an impact/scratches on the screen and I'd like to change the screen protector to something at least as good as the original sony screen protector.
I was quite interested in buying a tempered glass screen protector as it is highly resistant to scratches and has usually oleophobic coating, but I heard that it is very fragile and, once applied, the phone can't fit anymore in the sony charging dock (which is really a shame). But I'd like to have a confirmation from you guys regarding this?
Otherwise, can you please give me advice about a great plastic screen protector, easy to apply and efficient against scratches and fingerprints (oleophobic coating if it exists for plastic screen protector)?
I saw suggestions about the XtremeGuard one, is that really worth the price? What I don't like is you need water to install it onto the screen (that's why the HI-DEF one of this manufacturer looks better as you don't need water), also there's no hole for the proximity sensor, I heard that's sometimes a problem?
Thanks in advance for your advices!

Matte screen protector -> bad

Hi all, just a quick post to let you guys know my experience with a matte screen protector i bought.
The reason i bought this one was because of the fast and free 2-day delivery just because i needed one. I got 5 very small scratches on the curved side of my screen and i was surprised about how fast it scratched compared to my S2 which has been in the same pockets.
So the main issue with this screen protector is that the screen got a bit blurry but worst of all: i see some kind of buzz going all over my screen, like when its wet. I can see red, blue and green pixels, mainly red and green though, only blue when i look carefully.
Maybe its because its a bad and cheap screen protector or because of the high density of pixels on the note 4, i dont really care as it is only a temporary screen protector but its very very very annoying.

I've tried to capture a photo but it was not visible so i cant show it to you guys.
The problems you described were actually the characteristics of a Matte Screen Protector.. I can't technically explain it to you as I dont know how it is made, but thats how it is.
Yeah I was just gonna say, all matte screen protectors look like that. Nothing new here lol.
I using one now and ordered the anker ones should be here soon. The benefits of no fingerprints and no reflection are good.
Something tells me "smartphonehoesjes.nl" isn't going to be the best of all websites to buy a screen protector (even though it means cover in Dutch), maybe that's just me. Get a tempered glass screen protector, it's worked great for me. I have MIME Ghost Glass. Not cheap though.
That's simply how matte screen protectors work. You have not received a defective product.

S10 InvisiShield Glass Screen Protector

I have received this screen protector and though I would share my thoughts on this product for anyone who may be interested in this product or brand.
First off, installation is easy with little room for error as there are 2 glass screen protectors included, and 4 adhesive bottles. Once installed, the screen protector has a really nice natural glass feel. It is compatible with any Samsung protective cases (I currently have the Samsung leather case) however, any other case my or may not be compatible.
The screen protector is responsive and compatible with the fingerprint touch ID, and results with little to minor smears.
A minor setback for me personally is the screen doesn't cover the whole display (vertically). There is about an inch or so of excess room on the bottom of the display which really annoyed me when I swipe up from the bottom of the display.
Overall, this glass screen protector is a better alternative to the more expensive glass screen protectors out there and gets the job done.
