Hmmm,they call it subnote, but Universal also called subnote. And it's from HTC to...

lol im joking some sites that have reviewed it refer to it as a mini laptop.
Given the specs id doubt anyone could fit that thing in a pocket

Is that wonderful? It's just 133x98x16mm size, compare with Univ 127x81x25mm, not much different. Even they use PDA pross and hardware but some of them said it's UMPC??? Even from HW and SW it doesn't fit to called as it. Is thatgreat? PPCphone device that can do UMPC thing?
Anyway it's from HTC, it's fit with this forum purpose?

Xperia X1 or something else?

Hi! It's my first post in that forum and I hope I've chosen good place to write.
So, I would to buy Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 as my first smartphone ever. For now I have Sony Ericsson K800i and Apple iPod Touch 2gen. iPod is ok but only thing is that I need something for music, but iPhone in Ireland costs €500-€600, so thats A LOT for me. So as I had written I'm thinking about Xperia X1, but is there something else that could be good option to Xperia? I would to spend about €350-€380 in clove.co.uk, expansys.ie, pixmania.ie. I need WiFi (there is few hot-spots in my school - and I have Wi-Fi network in home), quite big screen (say 3"+ will be ok), good support here on forum and from producer itself, quite good sound quality, touchscreen and if possible HARDWARE QWERTY

ps. If you have good shops in UK which ships to Ireland post links to them as well please. And I don't want to buy it by eBay

For that $ you can find a Touch Pro 2, which is much better than xperia.

On that case go for Xperia, is HTC made so you´ll have the support from this great site!

Professiomal phone unlocking enquiry

Hello all, I work at a laptop/pc repair shop. We want to add to our services phone unlocking. One important thing is to make sure it is done at a professional level, without relocks after update (like many free iphone unlocking soft cause). for my own phone, for exmple, for Sony Ercsson or Samsung, I would use Wotan, but is this the way to go at a shop level? Would I have a separatepiece of soft for each brand, or do I strike a deal with each operator? We want to do as wide a range of phones as possible, and if it comes down to purchasing credits or so, we would be prepared for bulk. I would appreciate any bit of serious advise. Thanks mates.

Network unlock...Is it such a big thing to accomplish, like?

Hello sounds interresting with phone unlocks
So I know a guy that just done that and he didn´t needed to sign papers and such with the operators...........he buyed this box here: http://www.unlockitnow.com/products/product_info.php?pName=universal-unlock-box-ultra
Dont get me wrong he isnt rich or such but now he works like one year and he got 6x times more money back and anyone is happy
SO: Buy such a box, insure your computer will take it and start working
(The advice is from my friend so dont flame me I just adviced it )

I'm fresh android user. Just bought used phone from gf. Next day I received IPEGA (PG-9017).
What a disappointment was on my face when i could not connect it. All over the Sony forums Admin and other says that "Xperia Tipo does not support HID". And that's end of these posts.
Is that the end of the story? Tipo doesn't support HID, period?
Can I install different ROM with android for my phone? Or maybe Sony not provided drivers? Or bluetooth hardware doesn't support HID? (I don't think so).
Please xda, tell me can if I use this gamepad with my smartphone? Or if I can not - please tell my why.

If you don't know the answer, at least redirect me somewhere where I can receive one...

do someone knows why lumia 1020, in general any lumia cannot be unlocked anymore?

Hi everyone, i have been looking forward to unlock the lumia 1020 and the lumia 920 bought in usa...., but i dont have any clue how to do it. I have checked some pages, but without success. Also i cannot call ATT from here, due im very far away. Please, i really appreciate your kindness and help with this

Only operator who sold you the phone can provide you the code.

I bought an unlocked 1020 but it had issues. Returned it to Nokia under warranty. Nokia said it was defective and sent me a new one. LOCKED. Nokia can't unlock it and AT&T says that can't or won't .. New phone LOCKED. Then, I saw a message here .. someone doing unlocks for the Nokia 1020. Paid the $60 and later noticed when I didn't get the code that in the small print it says "Do not purchase unlock for Lumia." JEEZ ... Tomorrow morning this damn phone goes up on eBay ... This will be my very last Nokia ...

Happy to report that the 'unlock" people were very nice and returned my $60. There was a form for buying the unlock code. My fault for not reading the small print. I have been messaging someone at Nokia UK .. he is looking into my problem. Very nice of him. Guess that's how it is when you don't have Nokia USA looking into things. They just wait the appropriate amount of time and tell you 'sorry.' I want to put the phone on eBay but I really wanted to use it for a while first. .

maybe you can call them via Skype (Skype from your country to USA landline), it should be cheaper at least... I had no problem getting my phone (which i bought at full price (609$)) unlocked from ATT directly.

The ATT unlocking service (system) was down for sometime. I'm not sure if that is still the case.

Call them, email them and do live chat. Have them open a case and if it gets closed call back again to get another one. Had this issue with my Xperia TL that I got off contract. They don't even sell the damn thing anymore and kept giving me the run around until I found a rep worth a damn and got the code the next day. Took a couple weeks but I got my code.
