Windows Mobile 6 - Titanium 2 (WM6Ti) for Universal ?

I'm starting this thread because I saw this amazing ROM for Wizard. Http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=310864&highlight=titanium+2
Is it possible for this ROM, under modification, to run on our Universals?
And how difficult that would be?

wow, great. Just install the cab Touch. Like Ivan (touch) Rom, and you add some additional cab from titanium.

Sorry but I'm new with WM phones. Still using my Treo 650. I didn't understand that very well. Already tried that ROM. I thought it would simulate the one of I-phone with the HTC cube but I didn't find that fuction. Could you be a little more specific?

ROMs for Wizards wont work on Universals.
It is very difficult to port a ROM from one device to another.
We already have several WM6 ROMs for the Universal. Pick one.
Then just install those other apps they included on the WM6Ti ROM.
About the HTC cube thingy on Elf (Touch), they haven't figured out how to get them to work on Universal yet. And since only few devs are left working on the Universal now.. you probably won't see that happening soon.
Don't ask me for links.. I don't have any.

I've installed the New HTC Home Plug for the Wizrd it runs well, but the problem is that the row which shows the missed phone calls, the sms and the e-mails appears only the by half. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Think it's a problem with using the same CABs between VGA and non-VGA phones.

What do you mean by "since only few devs are left working on the Universal"? I haven't seen as many on the other forums, as on the universal one, or am I wrong?

We used to have Midget_1990, helmi_c, indra, etc.
The only ones left are Ivan, Laurentius26, and kdskamal making new ROMs.
Laurentius26 and kdskamal only creates new ROMs via the kitchen using the same old base ROMs.. so they're not really the kind of guys that ports a ROM from one device to another, but of course they could also do it in due time, that's why I said we are not going to see that anytime soon.
Besides, they don't need to port those ROMs since we already have a very good base ROM (courtesy of Midget). All that is needed to do is fix a few problems (wifi, mms, and that bloody video call). And that's what our master guru god Laurentius26 is doing.

Can anybody confirm if Jwrightcmp is working on an updated ROM for the universal with the current build.

Midget's currently using a Himalaya, he broke his Uni. He's planning to get the Advantage for his next device. I don't know about the others.

Hi everybody. Sorry for asking probably stupid question to you but how can i make my wm6 in this oryginal green colours like this one. I see everywhere blue and mostly black rom but how can i make it green like that one.

sorry man, the dell axim x51v has a graphics accelerator card

you could always try a program called UI tweaker it will change the colors of the bars and scroll bars i believe just google it you should find it hope this helps

That exact theme is in the double_ofour 1933 V1 ROM kitchen. Here is a direct link to the kitchen. It's a big download, maybe someone knows where to find that exact theme by itself. I can extract the theme from the kitchen, but it's on my work machine so it would have to wait till Monday unless someone else has it.

on your wizard go to go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=43709 then click on free ringtones, applications, and more and you will be able to download difrent themes. you get one with out registering but if you register you will be able to get all of them. registering is free.

By the way thank's to everybody who was trying to help me.
Using the ocasion and your experience in this matter can you advice me which rom would be the best for me.
I got 6 wizards in my company. 5 of them is used by my drivers and i was thinking which rom would be good for them i need stable one with some extra programs that i can manage the pda desktop. The drivers are using mails and navigation and of course telephone.
Can you advice me some good rom because at this moment they are using oryginal Orange Windows Mobile 5 but this one really sucks hangs up almost every day missing calls ect. I will be gratefull for some advice.
Second question is can i do something with wizard which after unsucessfull rom flashing don't want to turn on anymore. When i took of the battery i see that screen flast some 0,05 sec so it's working but i cannot put him in BootLoader mode anything. I was trying also to wait few our without a battery but it didn't help eighter. No i will try 2 days but what next ? Can i still try something?
I was going step by step with advices from this forum but after flashing my cidlocked G4 with rom T-mobile 2.26 i saw splash screen with some beer and that was it. I turned off and never saw him life again. If somebody has some good ideas would be great.

glad you all like the themes , i only realised today that i didnt zip all the themes up but if anyone wants any more just let me know on here. I have had people saying that they have had their phone freeze when making a call but i have had no problems whatsoever with that. I would also install battstatus and overclock the device i overclock it to 247mhz and it runs great , it might use a bit more battery power but it runs pretty well and it makes tomtom 6 run much better (I mention that point, as you stated that 5 of the devices are used by your drivers). Also i would install tweaks2k2.net as you can remove permissions from each device. I.E. Stop your employees from changing things

Windows Mobile 6.5 anyone able to port it to our dear wizard?

I was just browsing thru the blue angel forum and I noticed tht they had a Windows 6.5 version rom out. Yes I know its a beta version but still im hoping someone here can port it to the wizard so we can give it a try. I would post a link but im using opera mini hence can't copy it still though its a sticky first thread on the windows 6 sub-forum of the blue angel forum.

Im sure there is aw ay to get a working camera.. there is another camera app that works on the wizard (cool cam) that might be a halfassed replacement.
I would like to see this rom ported and a kitchen too
sure some stuff might not work, but whare there isa will there is a way!
what camera did work with that rom?

Im not an expert and not very fluent in development on WinMo but
why wouldnt the camera be working for 6.5, wouldnt the app be backwords compatible
or is it a driver issue or something?

From what I have read, the menu has a honeycomb structure will looks real neat and is supposedly more finger friendly. Here is a link with couple of screenshots :

I am also not understanding what is the difference. I just ported the XIP/SYS and got the build 21139 and WM6.5 pro. Thats all......
May we haven't got the fully wm6.5 source for porting. Or its fake

Unfortunately I have to add voice speed dial and voice command which I missed (minor issue).

In fact i have read that WM 6.5 is not released yet, even most people said a HTC phone was stolen with the WM6.5 last week in a special convention about PPC, PDA and other stuff.
Anyway microsoft denies the stolen phone, HTC does not said anything so
IN FACT THERE IS NO WM 6.5 OUT THERE!!!

I was wondering if there exists any rom for the universal that has the HTC applications in it. Like Manilla 3D and the other apps that come with the newer shipped HTC devices. And if not i need to get back in the kitchen again

I doubt the RAM would be able to handle it (at least the 64MB ones, anyway).

Plus you can only use 2D, As 3D needs a Driver and Chipset...
which the exec / uni sadly dose not support =[

Arh ofcourse yes.. Forgot that the Universal didn't have any 3D accelerator.. Guess i've gotten used to it from the newer devices.
Just recieved my Uni today and have installed things rom.. Seems to be a superb rom. Damn i have missed my uni

Yeah, although you can get a Touchflo cab, but i tired it ant takes alot of work to get fully working

I have TD2 with original rom WM6.1 and I want a theme something for my TF3D where can I find something nice ? I look around but themes only for WM6.5 ..if somebody know give a sign thanks
