I'm searching for an application who can remaind me that i have a notification by vibrate of bip.
Example : you receive an sms, you don't hear it or see it. It's the point the application is useful, because regularly the phone vibrate or bip to advertise you you have an unread sms.
This application can do that for email, missed call, ...
This will be fantastic if someone can give me such application !
hum i forget something, i have an htc tytn II under WM 6.

AlarmPal, PhoneAlarm and DontForget does that for you. I personally like AlarmPal, small and easy to manage.

i just got HP ipaq HW6955 WM5 device, the device allow for sounds to be played when new emails arrive but its not as per individual bases, is there a way to make it send tone alerts based on the individuals?? I'm surprised that it does not allow for this for emails or SMS.
also i be happy if i can get the different tone to work based on category as well as a work around.

For SMS, you can use Mort Ring - maybe this even works for eMail, Mort didn't reply to my question in his forum yet.

anyone else has a suggestion? so far niter Mort Ring or Photo Contacts pro allows for individual ring tones for emails?
ttt, still looking for an application that would allow my mobile5 device to alert a different tone for emails based on recipient.
I am searching an application that remind me that I have non answered call, or sms not readed every 5 minutes with a sound or alarm?

This is my very first post on this forum and the HTC Touch Pro will be my first Windows Mobile device, so a complete freshie in every respect. If I ask a question that has been answered before, it is not because I have not read other posts but that I do not know what I am looking for!
Historically I have had S60 and UIQ3 phones. On those, I have always made use of Call (Advanced Call Manager, Magic Profiles, Phonepilot) and SMS (MUMSMS, GINA, MCleaner) management and filtering tools.
I use the same phone for both work and business so like the facility to block calls and SMS accordingly. I also use the filtering facilities to hide call and sms log details from prying eyes.
I have searched for a call & sms application for WM6 devices but have not found one that seems to do all I want. Therefore, could I please ask your advice on which are the best app(s) that can hide received and sent messages (all types) and can hide the incoming, outgoing and missed call log for filtered numbers/contacts?
Additionally (and it may be silly to ask, considering the forum in which it is being asked!), can you give me your views of the performance of WM devices when compared to S60 & UIQ3?

On S60 v3 it's called Symbianon Private Call & SMS Guard
CallFirewall, MagiCall are 2 filtering tools i know from scratch... but there are also tools around for e.g. secretly moving special sms from your ex-girlfriend to a hidden / passwordprotected folder...

i don't wanna change my phone or purchase another one, just to have separate works from friends.
So i was wondering if there are any software that manage incoming calls, making distinction from friend to client, so if a client calla at the 9.30pm the phone will not ring, or better, redirect the call directly to the answering machine
