Hi, I need a little help here, do I need to flash to a new radio first to update my dive to the latest Dutty's ROM or can I do it after flash the ROM? and, Do I need to do a HardSPL everytime I flash a new ROM or a new Radio?

I am not very experienced but I think you only have to install hard spl once not every time you flash a new rom.
As for the other thing about radio I think (and this is just a sort of common sense guess) that maybe you would change the radio first then the rom as the 6.1 roms have to have a certain radio to work correctly.
As I am fairly new to this too i hope the dont flame me like they have you

Thanks! but I read that Radios compatible with WM6.1 crash any other OS that weren't 6.1, so if I update my radio it will crash my device because it is not 6.1 version? How can I update the phone to the 6.1 version if the needed radio will crash my actual OS?, I know that I'm confused but somebody can clear the things for me?

I dont think that is the case, if you do a hard reset then install the radio, then you can go into the bootloader and install the 6.1 rom.
As you will not be using the rom you have on it now I dont think you need to worry about it crashing
Also if it does then there is lots of help on the wiki and this forum about getting your phone up and running again should anything go wrong.
As I am fairly new to all this maybe you should wait for one of the other long standing members to confirm if I am right or wrong before proceeding.

Dutty's Hybrid and 19209 comes packaged w/ a radio.

I agree, reading is the only way you will know how to do something. Just like in school, you can't just have someone show you the answer if you want to remember and learn. I read for a couple days before I flashed and didn't have any problems whatsoever, a couple scary moments, but they were part of the process..haha. This flashing business isn't rocket science, anyone can do it, just read.

Edit: Ok, it appears this isn't working for anyone except for one person. I am waiting for him to return my phone call on with the update version. He specifically stated that he was able to remove "that ****ty 65.17. At&t radio by getting htc's latest rom update flashing it and then flashing another radio". I will attempt to get another link, rom/radio version, and anything else he can provide. I did see his device a few days ago and he did in fact have this radio, as I been waiting for a solution for him from here.
I made the assumption this was the update he was speaking about because it is the only one on the site regarding the tilt, as his phone is att branded. I apologize for any misleading information and hopefully it can be solved soon for the sake of everyone with that radio.
Edit 2: Durrr, he owns two Tilts and the original phone still has the radio. He flashed the other phone thinking it worked. Sorry for the confusion.

Off the top of my head I cannot remember the numbers, but it was the Official Tilt ROM prior to the one you posted, not sure what that has to do with wanting to read more info as to why this might work before I waste a couple hours of my life flashing and resetting my device back the way I want it.

It should work. Reset just as it starts the customization process. Wait till it actually goes to the customization screen.

Radios are location specific. I would suggest that you try both of them out and find out which one works best for you.

I removed all bloatware during install, so it doesn't appear in any menu.
But I understand the exe file should still be in the Windows directory.
Does anyone know the file name?

What to do, what to do. I finally settled on Duttys rom (which seems to have a higher version on it..) and got all my contacts and everything running on it. I hated the old phone dialer, but I know I can dload a new dialer skin.
Should I put it on or not.. Hmm...
Anybody tried igo8 or TT or something on this? Any issues? Just trying to think of anything else to make me try this one.

Enter the bootloader by holding down your camera button and inserting your stylus into the reset hole. Hold them both down until you phones goes into the tri-color screen (bootloader)

Download the tool kit from http://e72.pl/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=231 and then follow the instructions (the polish on that page with pictures is easy to follow) or the instructions in the zip are in english.

I got the ones been offered, I didn't get much instructions it was pretty much "stop asking me questions and read" to which I couldn't still find out wtf was going on so I stopped trying to figure out. I do believe thats the latest version as well. Or near it.
In-fact it is.
Over on e72.eu, the most supported/latest is still that. 28004 will be possible but the XIP isn't extractable or working for this device. And apparently 23090.5.3 as well- but the person who has that rom or has made or or what ever, dosn't know how to extract the XIP either.
Support for the device is to scattered- people sometimes make stuff for it- other times nothing.

I will cook new roms for e72,only thing you have to do is give me working device. It is cheap. If you don't believe me, look at my work on himalayas section here.

Here you have BenQ E72 28004 and 23090 XIP, the SYS can be found here on XDA, just search
Remember to add the xip.bin to the "os.nb" file
And this is just a suggestion....It's a waste of time cook WM 6.5 Roms for this device...WM 6.1 is the "best" solution for the BenQ E72...I stopped cooking wm6.5 roms and now i'm working with 6.1....More stable, fast and it has almost all the features of windows mobile 6.5! My last Windows Mobile 6.1 rom have 27Mb of free ram! XD

So they are the XIP or the SYS files you attached?
I never got my head around making roms- if I did I would probably make a few.
Played around with a few Kitchens but couldn't get a rom going- also didn't know how to "murge" the OS/XIP files reading the thread with the e72 kitchen it seems you load a certain file- but I can't find it. (searched for it as well).
Pretty clueless on how the kitchen works as well- so I'll probably leave it till someone else makes a rom using those XIPs- or give it another try when I know what I'm doing.
I know that some have been requesting some of the newer builds on the Herald. And up until now, no one has stepped up to the plate to deliver a ready-made ROM for 6.5.1 . So here it is FingerMe Prototype Series. This will be updated to some of the newer builds when I get them ported. Currently the newest build is 23037.
These are going to be base ROMs only. The only added program I will include is a comm manager because I have deemed that necessary. Also Internet Sharing is included. I used the JustHome themes for this ROM. I have included two versions: One for the Herald and one for the T-Mobile Wing.
These ROMs are LZX compressed ROMs and therefore MUST be flashed via SD Card on a HardSPL enabled device.
Please don't ask me for a ton of support on these ROMs. If you want to tell me about a bug, be sure to post it here with a detailed description. Some bugs might be my fault, some bugs might not.

Lord, why have we been clamoring for this so much? I just got it flashed and I gotta say, unless you are blind, how is this a UI improvement? Everything is just a little bit bigger is all, not neccesarilly more touch friendly. Don't get me wrong, I am not bashing you as the cook at all, I am bashing Microsoft for billing this as teh awesome revolutionary 6.5.1...and it's just kinda meh. BUT, all in all, thanks for the release, ima post a video walkthrough of it soon, and keep em coming!

I'm going to try to port 23037 tonight. It's the latest build. Also I'm removing the JustHome theme, it causes all of the backgrounds of menus and pages to be gray for some reason.

I have problem with flashing from SD card [ FAT32 1GB ], all the time it wrotes that I have invalid certicicate, if I want to flash from SD card?
I dont know to do HardSPL enabled device. Please can you send easy steps how to do it on my Herald ?
I installed all 3 cab (canonyang, disablesecurity, asergpolicy) but nothing happen, still that I have "invalid certificate".

The PDAVIET V82 (Build 23016) is the best WM6.5 cooked ROM today (who knows tomorrow). It works well, stable, fast and smooth. Unfortunately, I failed to change the Page Pool size and need to edit the registry myself at "Minimum Tap Time = 0" for making the touch screen more sensible.
I have been using this ROM for few days without any problem. I had tried many cooked ROMs yesterday of build 23017, 23034, 23028,23027 but none of them are working well or very buggy.
Looks very hot indeed.
How 'heavy' is it? Any reason for me to try it on a 64/128 ELF?

Ok I could not RESIST, so I tried it out. Seems to be able to run on my Elf 128/64, but I got to admit, I doesnt run it very well. The graphics are laggy, enter/exit prgs are slow and the scrolling in Start Menu is abit fubared by lag.
Have to admit tho, Im impressed it can run 'decent' at all, but using this on my Elf instead of topix's 6.1 rom is downright crazy.
But overall it seems very stable, and havnt encountered any major bugs as f yet.
any description can help... is it the default chome or a m2d interface?
any program taht are included will be a good start....

the Both have m2d and chome included
But aBout the programs idk cause i didn't try the ROM yet .. i just found it so i share it cause i know that PDAVIET ROMs is Better than else

EY i have playing the V82 now on my elf 1st generation
is great but my device lost a lot of batery whith this rom!!!
best rom at the moment.
The ROM is okay but It has the old "butter finger" problem where the screen uncontrollably scrolls up or down. Can somebody confirm this? Or has anyone found a solution to the problem other than replacing the touchflo with older drivers & a re-cook?
Appreciate any feedback!

I reflashed to try the fix you attached but, unfortunately it didn't solve the problem. The annoying thing about the "butter finger problem" is when you click on a file inside the file manager instead of opening the file, the screen either scrolls up or down and you have to retry. Sometimes you need to tap 2x or 3x to open a file. Very annoying! I wonder why only me is experiencing the problem?
I tried other ROM's be it the old Onyx Ultimate WM6.1 or WM6.5 up to kancrutt's build and none has the butter finger problem! Can you please relay to Pham Quang the problem and his suggested solution? As dsixda pointed out the solution is to use the old biotouch & touchflo drivers during the ROM build.
I have high regards for PDAViet specially nncuong so I hope somebody there could fix the problem and make this build (or the next build) one of the finest elf(in) ROMs.

Nice to know that I'm not the only one having the same problem. Looking back at the posts looks like butter finger problem is not an issue. whatever we found out to solve the issue pls. share.

I downloaded the RUU_V82 but didn't find the RUU.exe file...
I am confused in this stage....because every previous Rom's which I had downloaded includes the RUU.exe
If Someone may help as how to extract the RUU.nbh..then it will great.
