I've got a problem with my sd card in my prophet. the prophet can not read the sd card the card. when I use the explorer prophet doesn't show the sd card. also I can not the start the apps stored on the sd card.
When I insert the SD Card into a card reader or an other xda I can see all the data on it but not in my xda prophet. Soft reset doesn't help.

Try to format the card.that happened to my some time ago and after a format worked.don't foget to backup the data from sd card

I have the same problem, i've allready formated the sd card, several times and the problem continues.
why?
I think this is because SDDaemon.exe (the program that monitors the SD card slot) is not run on start up. Try a different ROM and see if that help.s

SD, SDHC, 512Mb, 1Gb, what ever! I´ve tried whit another rom but the problem remais and it´s very bad to have the S200 in these conditions, without SD card there's no GPS, Music, photos... I'm desperat.

There are a ton of threads on this. Search through and use a couple of them.
Sounds like you have a bad card or your are not unmounting the card in your phone.
Some viruses and rootkits will prevent your pc from formatting or recognizing external media. Verify your computer can recognize other cards.

same **** happened to me..(twice!) and appaerantly there isn't any easy way to recover an sd card from that state. Easiest (though most expensive) solution is to just buy a new one..
Yep - sounds like its broke. BUT consider that back in the day a floppy disk would run you $1 or $2. If you scaled that up a 2gb card would cost $1,400 to $2,800.
Makes me want to go backup.
sound like its broken, but try to use minitool partition wizard.
use this settings:
-Choose Create as Primary.
-Patrition type Ext2
-Cluster size 4Kb Cluster size 4Kb
I have an I.ROBOT 7260, I bought a 32gb sd card for it, the problem is, I cannot access the files on my sd card using my tablet, it says the data is not available or it just wont open..tried formatting the sd card, i even tried using a different sd card, an 8gb, same problem, I also tried to do factory reset on the tablet but it still wont read the files on the sd card.. pls. help me fix this problem. Yes for some reason I can not delete anything from my sd card nor will it reformat its a scan disk 64 gig. I can copy stuff off or on to it just cant delete.. anyone have some ideas? Thanks.
I tried a different card so its not the phone. ..I don't understand. .with the old one I can delete some stuff but most wont.

Where did you format it? on the phone or on the computer using an sd card slot on the computer or a usb card reader. I had the same problem with my Sandisk 64gb and i reformatted with an usb card reader on my computer and it seem to fix it.
I just switched it out can't get anything to delete it.
I inserted a 64gb sd and that's what i get is there a sd card fix or any chance i can fix ... am stock
Maybe it wasn't formatted? Try to format it in the device and report back here.

OK, some SD cards are fake and may not work correctly. Depends a lot as to where you bought it. Did you purchase this card from a known good dealer? Have you tried to see if a PC can read the card? When you formatted the card in your 12.2 tablet, did you see the message something to the effect that you would loose all of your data?
If you don't have a PC then try to locate a friend that has one and let them try to read it. If that doesn't work, contact the place that you purchased it from. They may replace the card for you. But beware of fake cards.

I just did a google search for your problem and one guy had to reformat to a Fat32 format in order for his 64GB card to work. His card was formatted Exfat and that would not work.
One last thing to check: When you went to the format page in your tablet, did you see a 'Mount SD card' just above the 'Format SD card? IF so, mount it. If it won't mount then the card has a problem. Also when removing any SD card from the tablet you should 'Unmount SD card' first.

So my phone doesn't detect my SD card at all. I've tried almost everything. I cleaned the card, tried to solve the problem on the device and looked for my phone compatibilities with the SD. It is a Kingston SD card and my phone does not detect anything when i put my SD in it. So if anyone nas an ideja what the problem could be please help. Thanks..

try put the sd card in other device or try put other sd card in your j7.If doesnt detect, backup your data then format your phone.If problem still occur your sdcard slot are problem.

Maybe you should try the easy option first, check if the phone detects another sd card, if so, the problem is in your Kingston SD Card and you must take it to the warranty.
