Hi all,
I have just upgraded my o2 mini to the WWE 2.03 ROM. The only problem is that there is only keyboard as the input method. I have been using letter recognizer as my main input method before the upgrade but it is not included in this new ROM. Could someone point/show me to where I can get the .cab files for the letter recognizer. I have searched around the forum but couldn't find the files. Thank you in advance.

Ya same with me had update my rom and i lose my letter recognizer, any one can help?

without letter recognizer i can do any thing, so i down grade to wwe11200, with radio13.00 and now i wanna to try to uograde to wwe11300
any update on this?
That's so sad. Nobody actually bothers to help on this issue. I'm facing the same problem as well.

Hi all, I am having problem with CE-Star v1.1 (a really old version that originally came with my O2 XDA)
I installed everything to the PDA, but Chinese characters are not displayed; all I see are squares. What am I missing?

I'm currently using this ROM on my SDA. It's not that big a deal to install, however, the default language after install is Chinese (well, Taiwanese actually) so you'd better write down how to change the language and locale. Perhaps if you cancelled the automatic setup you'd be able to stop that. The other thing is that ClearType is not turned on by default. Some people may prefer that but I had to find the CTT utility in order to turn it back on again. I had been using the QTEK 8300 ROM prior to this but I really don't notice any difference in terms of the operation of the device. The other thing I did was create my own home screen as the ones that ship with the device, while capable of displaying in english, are designed to be used in Chinese so the fonts are all quite large.
Anyway, enough from me.

Would you shed some light on how you install it? I have tried to use typhoonnbfdecode.pl w/ NbfUtils or imgfs_tools to convert the 586w.bin file to nbf format without success. Any hint will be appreciated.

New Dopod 586W AKU ROM

It gives you a link to the Dopod AKU2 ROM in an exe file. Be forewarned though, the ROM has Traditional Chinese as the default language upon bootup. It also is application locked and I have yet to figure out how to unlock it (unable to change those reg key values we're all so familiar with). If anyone here is able to patch the ROM, I would very much appreciate it if you post the instructions or the patched ROM itself.

I bought an AT&T 8925 HTC TILT KAISER TYTN II wich WM6 is original english. Is possible to flash a full Spanish ROM?. If possible, will the new ROM show Windows Mobile in Spanish?.
I only need you can tell me where to find the perfect Spanish ROM for me (if exists), and If I need to follow this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334679 to flash the new ROM.

Yes, you can flash any ROM made for Kaiser or Tilt to your device. But you'll have to install the Tilt Keyboard fix to use your hardkeyboard properly on ROMs, that are not designed for Tilt.

Just got my TP last week. ROM version is a WWE. I try putting a pmingliu.ttc into the font folder and unable to read traditional chinese characters in my contacts. Any fix? I would like to keep the WWE ROM because I don't need the CHT menus.
BTW, this is a great community of ppl working on various WM phone. And they say all the developers are going over to iPhone app store. Keep it up.

This cab installs font & regional settings to support Chinese, Korean & Thai.
Will also work on WM5 devices,
Input SIPs are also included.

Anyone also has a working Cab file for adding dutch language support?? Reading is no problem since its normal letters, but I'd like to keep my english rom with autocompletion for dutch.
Hope somebody has a solution for that!

Downloaded the FontPDA KoreChiThai.exe file and tried to install this on my Fuze on my storage card. But I keep on getting a error message that says this program is not a valid PocketPC application. Any clues as to why I am getting this error?

run it in windows... choose a folder to extract and all the cabs and instructions will be in that folder.
copy cabs to microsd and install as instructions say
I had trouble initially (on SD and w/out resets), but once installed directly on device with proper attention to resetting after each cab everything works like a charm! This program is so wonderful. Thank you! I have searched and searched and found nothing NOTHING that compares!
Briefly: We are a mixed ethnically European/Korean Christian family learning Korean and I use Pocket E-Sword regularly. Now I can enjoy the Korean bibles as well! Thank you so much!
This cab is nice but has some problems. If I set region to "English(USA)", all programs I installed have no problem to run, and some of programs cannot show chinese properly. If I set to "Chinese", a few programs failed to start. e.g. Microsoft Bing etc. I have CE-Star before, all programs work fine, but it requires to register after a few days. Can someone improve this cab???

Check out Karhoe's Tutorials I believe he has some stuff related to text and how to install, and they should be compatible with Nitro's Platinum ROM
