Does anyone have an idea how to make the Iconbar background transparent so that the black does not disturb the 6.1 ROM that has no top bar under the icons??

Does not work for me on Vox with Dr. Gonzo's WM6.1 ROM.

for me worked perfectly on shipped (1.34.407.1 / 1.23.166.1) by building custom rom, include the plugin
i never use cab-installer
try use the first version Iconbar_plugin without any Images...
(for me it work better then version2)
Follow the instructions in here (link) and it will work...the thing is it only works correctly in portrait mode, because that iconbar was made to the HTC Shadow...
I've followed the instructions to a T and still not able to get it working on the Vox, even in portrait mode. My icon bar will dissappear when making the change, but I'm not able to replace it.
I really don't know what you're doing wrong...I followed the instructions on the refered site, and as you can see on the pictures below, it's working on my Vox. The real issue is that it can't work in landscape AND portrait mode...it doesn't switch between modes automatically...when you add the code to the xml file, you choose if you want it in landscape or portrait...I have it in portrait, hence the icons a little bit shifted to the left.
One last thing: I then found an updated version, which has transparent background, and that possibility to choose between the screen modes (landscape or portrait) - (LINK)
maybe you could post your xml file?

It's black because probably you are not using the version found in the modaco forum, in the link i said before. You have to copy the files contained in that zip file to the windows folder for it to work properly.

The moment I've seen this I cropped a picture to make it the right size an made it my boot screen.
If only there was a way to change the first boot screen as well, since I'm still playing around with the device I'm seeing both a lot

I can only change the second boot screen...You can use ACDSee to resize picture or photoshop do a professional work.
Some example images included so this zip file is a little big.

.NET 3.5 (including .NET CF)
And .NET CF 3.5 on magician, with WM 6 as OS from Cotulla's ROM.
My program is compiled by VS2005 with NETCF 2.0...

Seems like you're running the application from PC. You should copy it to your Magician and run it from there.
It's easy to make this mistake, God knows how many times I did it when I was still getting used to the device.

I have played again with some manila files, to make the call history and the history under the dilaer more clearly visible.
Just copy the untzipped files to the windows directory on your device.
I have uploaded them seperately, so you can choose if you want the colored symbols in dialer and/or call history.
I have them both.
Dont forget to soft reset!
You also should backup the original files before. If needed I can also upload the original files for you.

XRAY MAN has made a cab for those changes. Thanks for that. For those who dont want to copy the files manually, just install the cab, and soft reset the device.
BTW I noticed that many think that those files/ the cab also change the apperance of the Dialer, which they doesnt. If you want the Black Dialer Skin, please ceck out the following thread. Post nr 5, and in post nr 21 you can find another version.

I just updated the files a bit. First I have changed the Icons, and I also changed the color of the incoming Call arrow, to match better with the original colors, as they also appear if you use contact pictures.
There are 2 versions that should work fine with most/all of the roms.
For Manila 2.1 Old and the official HTC Update with Manila 2.1 Sense please download the following 2 Files:
New Colored Dialer History Symbols Manila 2.1 and 2.5.zip
New Colored History Symbols 2.1 (old&New).zip
For the Custom Roms with Manila 2.5 please download:
New Colored Dialer History Symbols Manila 2.1 and 2.5.zip
New Colored History Symbols MANILA 2.5.zip
Just follow the instructions above and enjoy!

I think you downloaded the same file twice, because I have manila files in 1 zip and a .bmp in the other zip.

you should use the free app "Total Commander" to copy files on your device. This porogram is a must have anyway.

it should be language independent i didnt see anything about language in files - you can edit it with notepad...
me to dont like this square highlight... some1 plz post the default round highlight & i make cab for this.

I tried your cab and the manual way, but both are not working. I reseted my MDA compact V two times and also tried a different cab, made for Xperia.
My Start Menu still shows 3 rows, though there is an entry in the "startmenu_grid scene" that shows rows=4
Any Ideas?

I've got the same problem: tried the .cab and also copy and paste the two files to windows directory. Still have 3 rows....
My Rom is Udk R6 aswell, in german...
just installed it...and a I like it very much.
my question is, is it possible to change the background wallpaper. I have in all views the same wallpaper but now, after installing this cab, I have a different wallpaper for the menu...

thanks a lot i was looking for this exact thing. quick questions. what cab are you using for the home screen 16/20 short cut icons? i was using vovichek jamrecords' but end up getting a mesh up of blurry icons with this theme. and what is the name of the wallpaper that is being used on all the screens so i can search for it in the file manager? i am getting it on all the screens except the homescreen. thanks again.

This is the showcase_480.png Showcase_480.zip from the cab. it is corrupt hence no image.

Itried this one today.
It all downloaded OK and I followed the tutorial... Sadly once installed the HTC Sense would not run on the HD2.
Ended up having to do a hard reset to clear the problem.
Any ideas on how to rectify this?
A Windows 7 inspired Manila Sense 2.5 theme. Thanks to Shadowline for his great Topaz 6.5.3 Rom and Windows Theme. I went ahead and created a custom slider to match his theme. Attached is a zip file with the cab for my theme and Ive also attached a zip file with the two files that need to be copied to your windows folder in order to have the windows start icon. I also attached my wallpaper. Hope you enjoy!

can you tel me how did You get the clock and the battery icons in the top taskbar to be visible at the same time? i'm hendling this a lot of time now and didn't came with any solution...
The wallpaper is the big picture you see in the first post.
I dont know how the clock and battery is up there at the same time, the rom i use has it set up like that. I suggest you try searching for a solution or just try out shadowline's roms.

Its overriding on the energy rom due to the invisible slider that is installed on that rom, i had problems too. I suggest you either try downloading nrgz stock slider cab first then installing mine.
And the cab file is in the zip file. You should unzip the cab file then install it onto your device followed by a softreset and it should be working then.
here is the wallpaper for everyone
i installed the theme but the upper bar (with battery, etc..) doesn't change...
The taskbar icons were downloaded seperately. Cant remember where i found it but you should search in the windows themes section

I "guess" you have WM6.5, Sence 2.1 Stock ROM (just a guess).
This is for Sence 2.5... not working for you.
