I've removed only dogfood apps from ROM, nothing else - some files have been replaced with newer versions of these apps. I've replaced some old HTC icons with newer in WM6 style, you can see them on attached screenshots.
This ROM can be used without extrom on G4 wizards, but you have to download whole ROM and then manually split os.nb from it. ExtROM is used only as a storage for CAB files.

btw which app did you use to upx your apps? - i tried a couple and they wont compress microsoft apps - eg office.

jop, sorry, but this primary for czech users ....
I used upx 2.00w - perhaps the problem is that you can't upx dlls, only executables - and your office files have been maybe compressed yet
Thanks jimmy i will try that tool - not trying on dll's because i know it sometimes stops dll's working sometimes and exe's are originals - i have wrong upx program - cheers

Great job Jimmy, I've tried so manny roms and this one is realy fast and stable.
be cautious in upx-ing - some programms "can" be packed on PC version(icon excluding etc...) without problems on ppc later...some can't be packed at all..
i.e. isilo can't be packed at all ,so it may be roulette with custom oem packs..too.

Main points on WWE so far: no backlight adjustment through settings and the default set to too low. Camera and backlight button shortcuts are missing. Hangs on X for some time or needs to be pressed again to close. Otherwise works fine with lots of memory, didn't install any programs, so can't comment on what's compatible.

su windows 7 non ho esperienze, molto probabilmente non riconosce il tuo device.
usa xp e vai a colpo sicuro

network plugin and type linea CSD still using Ita, that ok ... i'm not use it.
i install neuNoBar, it's not work like it should. other programs is ok.

Yes ive just seen that quickGps wont work...i was pretty sure to have used after had flashing the Rom, ill try to fix it as soon as i can.

Really a nice Rom.. only small corrections with Advanced config for make the Gprs icon visible as i was already used to with some other Rom's.

I just found a bug in Comm Manager when you go to change the Base Band,but it is my fault i didnt remember to had change a thing in App.reg

Solo una domanda: quali sono le versioni radio ed SPL consigliate? Sul mio Kaiser ho installate le seguenti versioni: Hard-SPL 3.29, Radio 1.70.19.09.

Hi guys,is there anyone that tried to install this new igo version on our acer s200?I tried but everything hang at the igo 8 screen...
I tried many times but the best i could do is the one i mentioned before.I used a specific package of branding.zip,data.zip,and sys.txt named AcerF1_specific,configured for our device from a greek guy in this forum (i ve downloaded the package from his blog,looking for something preconfigured to boot this suite on our phone) but maybe was made to use in another version of igo 8,not igo8 primo.
I can t even find the thread about this package,so please i ask if someone could help me

Do not use these files.They are for Igo8 and not IgoPrimo use.

Ok i ve found the way to boot igo primo in acer s200...This gps program is awesome,great 3d graphic...If someone need my sys.txt or any other file configured for acer s200,i can post those in the board

Ciao appena torno a casa posto il sys.txt e l altro file personalizzato per l s200,poi l altra roba è quella standard
When i came back home i will post sys.txt and the other personalized file for s200 that are needed to boot igo primo on s200
there are white a few sys.txt floating around for wvga, but i couldnt find any real wvga , just the 240x400 streched versions. Did you have more success
Anyways i prefer igo8, more functions and i already got used to it
No igo and igo primo does not support 800x480,the best you can use is 320x240...

Actually, this is not completely true. All you need is a custom data.zip with the appropriate resolutions and a few entries in sys.txt. I will post an external link to the above mentioned data.zip and sys.txt changes as soon as a mod permits me to do that...
Use for example this data.zip and update your sys.txt accordingly:

resolution_dir="800_480"
vga=0
[rawdisplay]
highres=0
screen_x=800
screen_y=480
class="landscape"

It would be great,really great.I ve loocked for this for about a week...If someone would like to try with mine waiting for the better version from thomaskunze,i ve uploaded the two files,you have to substitute those to the one in igo primo folder

I had many difficult to operate iGO Primo, so I share with you the files that posed problem to me.
I uploaded the data.zip working for Acer S200 (and other gps with 800x480 resolution).

igo primo 8.5.11.155811 works fine on my S200, supports 800x480, but one problem is that there is no method to receive TMC signal from S200 FM chipset, so cant use igo TMC function.

igo primo 8.5.11.155811 works fine for me too. it recognizes hungarian tts voice, in the menu i can hear it, but does not stay chosen one when i push back button, the previously selected voice is active.
