thi's my first post. I hope this is the right place to ask.
I tried to change my wallpaper in today setting.
I clicked on "use this picture as the background"
but the pic on today screen is covered with the WHITE MASK.
IS there way to get rid of this white? I want my wallpaper more colorful.

Hey folks, can't find an answer from searching, but anyone know how I can edit, ie change, the colour of the blue border around the today screen plugin for windows live search? It's a bit stand-outish and doesn't quite fit with the rest of the screen.
Removing the border altogether would be ideal, seeing as we're stuck with separators, but a colour change would at least be better than how it is atm.

So I'm having trouble with my today wallpaper and the TF3D background wallpaper. I'm using the first image as the jpg (480x640) as the wallpaper. It looks fine. The second and third pictures are my today screen and home touchflo screens. You should be able to tell that the wallpaper is faded now, but on my SecondToday screen the wallpaper looks fine. Is there something I can do to correct this problem? I've searched the forums and all throughout my device, but I can't find a way to correct the problem.
I'm using Energy ROM 2 with Showaco's backgroup wallpaper for all tabs. Is there a way I can bypass the setting of the wallpaper and just copy the image as another name? Where is the wallpaper stored?
If you set your wallpaper in your Today settings it automatically gives it like 40% transparency. No way I have found to change this. However, if you go to Manila settings and change it there, it should have no transparency.
If that doesn't work, try setting your manila wallpaper with this program.
Also for the actual today screen, try this program if you like it to change occassionally.
Thanks Bruce for the suggestions. The Diamond background changer didn't work either. I really don't care about the Today screen being faded, but the manila wallpaper being faded is really annoying.
Anyone else have a suggestion?

My backgrounds all look fine.
Go to Pictures and Video (the default picture viewer), and select your picture. Then, select "Use this as home screen / background".

this is the key..no extra apps and 100% success everytime....
I found a solution. I uninstalled Showaco's All tabs background and reinstalled it and it fixed the problem. I don't know what caused it to begin with, but at least now its' fixed.

I was wondering if it was possible to change the manila font color?
When you use a background of your choice (in my case with HDwall), sometimes the white and grey text can't be read because of the color of the background..
I have searched all i can but can't even find a single post about this subject??

Sorry for being a noob if this is an easy fix, but I've been searching for hours now and can't find anything. I found a theme I love except for one thing. I'd ask the guy who skinned the theme, but he says he's not around anymore, no time.
When I view a text message in on the screen where it shows this pic of the person, the date and time sent, and the call back number, the box with that info is a very light grey. Problem being is the text is white. I'm new to themes, and can't find the right file to change. I don't want to change the text color, just make the box black too. Can someone direct my to the right file to edit? I'm on WM 6.5. Attached is pic of what I have...

Anyone? Could someone at least point me in the right direction? Am I looking for a css, a png, a gif somewhere? I also noticed today that the address bar and search bar for Opera have white text on white background. I'm also looking to change those 2 backgrounds to black also...
I was wondering how I would go about changing the taskbar or the theme itself on my N1 to that of the galaxy S. I only really want the taskbar and most of all, the korean font that this screen shot has:

Well, if you go to the market and search voca voca app, by sung joon kim, the screenshots should show the taskbar and font right before the time.
I was thinking I could use some website that I used once a while back to change my battery icon but I cannot seem to find it. Something online kitchen.
Anyone know what that font is and how to apply it?
