Hey all,
Is it possible to hide those annoying colored horizontal lines on the today screen that separate your plugins, etc?
I could have sworn I saw an option for it when I first got my device, but can't find it anymore.
Thanks in advance.
Impossible
I have been searching for over 6 months and the answer is---NO.
You can only change the color to match the theme (useless) or use something like Wisbar Desktop to change your desktop and eventually mask over the line.
I feel your frustration. I hate those lines too. Can't get rid of it (and MSDN Library has nothing on it!).
Hi all,
I'd like to know how to change if possible the color of the vertical and horizontal scrollbars.
I got a nice flat black top and bottom bars and want scroll bars to match these rather than poor grey windows default.
I searched but really can't find an answer in the forum.
I would prefer a direct registry hack rather than a tweak app as most of the time it's difficult to know what changes these apps are doing to the system and though it's quiet hard to revert back to previous settings.
Thanks a lot
Thomas

Hi, I just installed a few cabs to change the lok of my home screen a little bit and I got the X Wall background for all tabs. It works great but with the pic I have its hard to see the text over the picture.
Is there any tweaks knockin about that will put an opaque box around the message like the ones around the clock and the calendar on the home screen?
Thanks!!
bump, I've include some screen shots so you know what my problem is
would it be possible to make the screens where it is hard to read the text have little boxes round em like in the internet favourites tab??
thanks!!
Hi,
I've been searching a bit for a white taskbar with black icons to match my Sense UI theme (preferably standard icons), but I can't seem to find it. I only find taskbars with all sorts of funky colors and strange looking icons that burst out with many colors.
Are there anyone who's a little better than me at searching who can find a way to get this, cause I simply just can't figure out how to get it.
I'm using the WM version where the start button is in the top left corner (not at the bottom which I've seen many people have). If that matters ^^

A transparent taskbar would work as well if anyone knows about such a feature.
Found something similar to what I was looking for

No idea if it'll work, but at least it's a step on the way
I have the same thread question. But I basically want a WHITE top/bottom taskbar instead of Black. But that would mean, the white text would require to be black now.
Anyone know how I can get this? I've seen it done on "android" wanna-be skins. How do they do it?

Not sure. You could try asking the guy who made the thread I linked to.

To get the black text, install ovi's Colorpatch from here:

i'm just about losing it here and i'm willing to look into any sorta input i get...
i've trying to skin a qvga theme for 6.5.5 (build 23569) to get the background in black and the text in white, sort of the opposite of what the current look is in WinMo...
i've searched all over xda and a ton on other pda sites but i kept drawing blanks and heading into dead-ends...
i just need to know how to get an effect similar to what is achieved here or here
but instead of a gray shade or partial blackened areas, i'd like it all to be a solid black color with white text...
the only option that i can see left for me is to build up a theme from scratch but despite of the tiny few tutorials posted here, the all crucial part regarding the background color is still shockingly missing...
so...anyone??
