I tick "set as default browser" in Netfront 3.5, but when I open a HTTP link in any mail, it open IE or Opera... but never Netfront.
(Opera is unchecked for "default browser" option).
It is a common bug ?
I search, but i didn't found any answer.

Hello Everyone,
I know there are many threads on how to change Opera Mini 4 to be the default browser so that email links, etc... open using that browser instead of the mobile IE.
What about Opera 8.65 / Opera 9.5 beta or the Netfront 3.5 beta browsers. How do you make them the default so that email links or mms links open using them?
Just choosing them as the default within the browser settings doesn't work.
All help is appreciated.

I use the built-in RSS reader daily. Now whenever I decide to read a news article in more detail and I tap the 'read more' link, the HTC opens the default, crappy Opera browser. I can't believe you guys all use this thing
For webbrowsing I normally use Opera Mini, which is perfect. How do I change this, so that when I tap 'read more' in the RSS reader, it opens in Opera Mini?
Opera 8.6 has a "set as default browser" option:
Menu>tools>Settings>Misc tab> check "set opera as default browser"
I assume opera mini has something similar...
You really should check out Opera 9.5. They're all over XDA. They're betas but it's a great browser.

I have instaled opera mobile and mini. I have set that Opera is defaoult browser wvery where i could using registry Advanced Cofiguration Tool, I set that nay kind of html or similar files should be opend by Opera but whenever i want to open lin which is in @ PIE open instead of Opera.

even though Opera is configured to be my default browser, there are still some shortcuts that are opened only via IE and not Opera. For example shortcuts from outlook e-mails and I-nigma.
Is there any way to change that?

not 100% sure, but it just opens the default browser, so go to opera 10 settings and change it to become the default and that should do the trick
