Hi,
I would like to know if anyone has PDAC hebrew (WM6) in his Tornado.
If so, could you please share with me the files SEGOE.TTF and SEGOEB.TTF that are in the \Windows\ folder.
I need them to test an application in hebrew, because the ones that are on regular ROMs do not have the hebrew letters inside.
I do not need bidi support, that's why I'm not buying the software in pocketpc.co.il. I just need the fonts.
Thanks!

hello all,
i'm lloking for a solution - i just bought a htc 4350 in germany -so it came with wm5 in the german language , when i'm connected with the wifi i can't see nothing with hebrew encoding, how can i solve it? is there a free hebrew package that i can install on my phone ?
thanks in advance -- fensi
I know of companies selling Hebrew support but I don't think there is a free solution.
The problem with languages like Hebrew and Arabic is that MS neglected to implement right-to-left writing mechanism in Windows Mobile. Doing that with 3rd party software is fairly complicated which is why I think so far only commercial products are available.
You can of course copy fonts from desktop windows to the windows folder on the device (don't forget to reset it afterwards) but you will see everything backwards.
Hello, i'm looking for a way to install a languages support on my Qtek 9100 like windows. I need to read and write a lit a languages in my pocket pc. There is any ways ?
there is no way to modify the windows xp's languages support's DLLs ?
No official MUI packs available.
However depends on which language you want, there may be language support software available that let you view and enter that language.
YEs but i seen you have made on your own a traditional chinese support. 太酷啦哈哈. 你怎麼辦 ? Have you programmed DLL or what?
Hello,
I have an P526 with an english WM6.1 rom.
it works just fine!
The Problem ist, that the t9 input method is only possible in english.
i already tried to copy t9germanLdb.dll in windows by changing some of the registry files (but I really do not know, what I was doing).
There I was finally able to choose language by pressing "*" but it only works in english. In german not one letter was able to be typed :-(.
Later I tried to install some t9german.cab found by Mel_Place. But it does not work. Now the phone only writes numbers and "*" does not work.
Thanks, if anyone can help me.

Is it the same hTC Ozone that you were trying to translate a couple of months ago?
If so - I can try it.

HTC Ozone is almost fully translated by one person ... I have more phones to translate.
try you're looking for at melgurth or find at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1586293&postcount=73
I have listed a complete set of activities that you need to do for localization at the end of Beginners Guide to Windows Mobile (prepare for cooking). The various task's efforts vary quite much depending on the perfection of adaptation you want to achieve.
Especially the Settings Menu is very hard to translate due to its dependency on the system's generic provisioning handler (and related database entries for menu items).
Post is still OPEN
