Loving my new Cruise. Upgraded to the latest Bebe WM6.1 ROM. Everything is flying along wonderfully and I couldn't be happier. Except for one problem. Every time I take or make a phone call, my in-call volume gets reset to 5/10. I've gone through my registry settings and they are no different than any other WM device I've had in the "sound categories" and "volume" sections. It's not a big, big deal, as I am now in the habit of clicking the volume rocker up right after answering a call..... but it's still something I'd be curious to know whether anyone else is experiencing. I recently built a ROM using mUn's 5.2.968 (Build 17217) and the kitchen. It has been working fine but today I managed to hit the volume control and put the phone on vibrate. Anyway I put it back on ring but it seems to be stuck on Vibrate. I have the volume control set to the middle for the PDA, and one step higher for the phone, also with the phone screen on and click menu, options it is set to Ring Type 'Ring' and Ring Tone to one of the built-in files. However it refuses to ring when I get an incoming call; it just vibrates
Any ideas?

This actually happens periodically in all WM6 roms I've tried. For me, I've only noticed this happen when I've pressed and held the Comm button to switch to Vibrate and then switch it back. To fix the problem you can either go to Settings > Phone and play your ring tone (just hit the play arrow) or do a soft reset.
I used to see this more on NTS and XPlore 1.1 than I've seen on Faria Vanilla (not sure I ever saw it there) or on my Crossbow Reloaded (I've seen it once) but to be honest after realizing it appeared to be tied to the press and hold of the COmm button to enable and disable vibrate, I've pretty much quit using that feature. I don't know that I've ever seen it happen if I drag the volume (not ring volume but phone volume) to Vibrate or off and then back.
I've chalked it up to one of the "bugs"/"features" of WM6...
When i used the mfrazz roms my phone volume was very loud,
So there is some registry settings may be im missing, can anybody help me.
I don't know when it started but I no longer have in-call Volume Control. Pressing up or down on the volume buttons causes the Syste/Ringer Volume Control to come up but not the single Volume bar. I don't know how I could have lost that. I am using the stock AT&T ROM and I have TF3D turned off to just use WinMo 6.1.
Also, I did do thorough searches for this to not be redirected to the sticky. I'm sorry, but I couldn't find anyone else with this issue.

If you're using a different dialer, sometimes the HTC volume control will cause that.
I'm on WM6.5 and I use the stock WM dialer and disable the HTC Volume Control (if the ROM I'm using has it cooked in).
I just realized something that may have made a difference.
I used Diamond Tweaks to switch the Volume Control from HTC Touch to WinMo because I can't stand the HTC one. It didn't actually change at all so I switched it back. That may have been around when this happened.
I have now found a thread that talked about how to disable HTC Touch Control by changing the registry key. But now my keyboard has gone to Courier. Not a big deal.
Could that have been it? Could Diamond Tweaks have caused it?
It could be. I think it comes down to a combination of dialer and HTC Volume Control vs WM Volume Control.
Interesting, I also changed the HTC dialer to the WinMo dialer. I just really can't stand the HTC stuff, it's sluggish, I don't personally think it looks so great. I like the Microsoft interface. It's less flashy, sure, but it's functional and clean.
So you're saying my combination of WinMo dialer and HTC Volume Control might have caused the disappearance of the HTC in call Volume?
I phone was stock and it still did it after i unlocked it
but i not sure its from the unlock i never got to us if before i unlocked it
some i need to disable the htc control???

I encountered a problem with my transformer's touchscreen today. After adjusting the volume with the volume rocker the first touch after the volume alteration is not recognized by the tablet. Afterwards it works flawlessly again....Anyone experiencing the same issue or a solution? I don't know if the problem was existent on the stock 3.0 firmware because I upgraded right away to 3.2.

The Volume notification persists for a few seconds to allow users to touch it and adjust the volume with their finger as well mute and adjust the folume of notifications and alarms.
ok thanks, still it's kind of annoying when I want to change volume let's say in a game and immediately need to do another touchscreen input afterwards...
With CM-10, I have noticed that the call volume is really loud starting off and the volume bar is all the way down. During the call if i raise the volume all the way up, then bring it all the way down it seems to be at a normal level then. Just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue?

I have the same problem which is very annoying on Defy+ not to mention that it's volume rockers are pretty tough =\
