[Q] Touchscreen problem after using volume rocker - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I encountered a problem with my transformer's touchscreen today. After adjusting the volume with the volume rocker the first touch after the volume alteration is not recognized by the tablet. Afterwards it works flawlessly again....Anyone experiencing the same issue or a solution? I don't know if the problem was existent on the stock 3.0 firmware because I upgraded right away to 3.2.

Not a bug.
The Volume notification persists for a few seconds to allow users to touch it and adjust the volume with their finger as well mute and adjust the folume of notifications and alarms.

ok thanks, still it's kind of annoying when I want to change volume let's say in a game and immediately need to do another touchscreen input afterwards...

Help: Volume control in-call doesn't turn it higher or lower

When I'm in a call on Windows Mobile 6 (with verizon xv6800), using the wheel to turn the volume higher or lower doesn't change the volume whatsoever.
It may have to do with the fact that I got a new audiopara file, but I went back to the old one today and the problem still remains.
I have a registry editor.... maybe there's a way I can enable volume control again. The wheel makes it go up and down but the volume itself is the same all the time.
Thanks.

Adjusting in call volume does not work

Hello, I have the following problem.
I'm using a HTC Touch Diamond2 with the Topaz ESSentiaL v2.2.1 ROM (German).
If I want to adjust the volume of the Phone during a call, it happens nothing. I am using the HTC Volume Control. The other 2 volumes (system and ringer) can be adjusted without any problem.
But if I press the up/down key during a call, nothing happens, not even a window pops up.
Is there any way to get the volume control working without switching back to the standard Windows Mobile volume control? Or does anyone know the registry key for the in call volume so that I can adjust it manually?
Thanks
Chris
Does nobody have an idea? Or is there maybe a CAB to reinstall the HTC Volume Control to make it work again?

Volume lock

No matter who's ROM that's 23569 based I have tried, and a few earlier ones, the volume up and down keys do not lock when you lock the screen. So I keep finding that my Fuze volume status will change from speaker on to vibrate or vibrate to silent. Anyone know of a ROM that locks this, a software patch or is there some kind of registry fix to prevent this?
Moved as not ROM Development.
I use Tarkim's modified keyboard driver http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=521786 it offers to remap keys even when screen is locked. I change my volume keys to a long press to set volume and a short press does nothing. This keeps from accidentally changing volume while holding phone.

[Q] On Screen Keyboard Volume (typing sound too loud)?

A coworker recently purchased a Transformer and I noticed that his on screen keyboard is VERY loud when he types. It's so loud, that it is actually annoying. By comparison, mine is very quiet/subtle. We have compared the volume in apps/videos and they are the same.
Is there a way to adjust the volume of the clicking sound of the on screen keyboard? Is anyone else having this issue?
Thanks
As far as I can tell the Asus Software Keyboard only allows you to disable to sound entirely. You can do that by going to
Settings> Language and Input> Configure Inputs Methods> Asus Keyboard> Settings

I KNOW its pissing me off. it's either on and blasting at 100% or off. Hope they post a fix or also you to set the volume lvl.
The volume rocker broke on it? Mine can lower the volume just fine.
Grab Audiomanager from the market. It enables you to set the volume of many things that aren't exposed in the stock settings.

Volume rocker behavior

Hi, just started getting odd behavior from my volume rocker:
The default volume changed is the 'main' volume control (the one with the phone icon) . Sometimes, however, the default changes to the 'app' volume (for want of a better description) (the one with the speaker icon).
This is with the phone on the home screen and I don't think I'm doing anything to make it happen.
The only way I can get the volume default back to the main control is to reboot the phone.
I'm using a Chinese version phone running slimkat with ak kernal and using the expandable volume control.
Can I stop this from happening?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers,
