here is a screen shot of my attempt to draw straight lines across the screen in Vspainter. I tried to clean the screen under the plastic of my 8125 (wizard) with a credit card and it seemed to do the same thing. I hard reseted, same result. Does any body know how to fix this?

anyone???????
I have an old Ipaq that does the same thing. My guess when that happened to me is that the digitizer is going bad. If your unit is under warranty then send it off!
If not there are a few options:
1. Nothing. Might be the best option if you are not comfortable with taking your unit apart and putting it back together with no left over parts.
2. Buy a new digitizer (It can be very hard to replace just the digitizer though)
3. Buy a whole new screen and digitizer and put it in
4. Buy a new phone!
Best of luck bud!

Hey Friends from XDA!
I have these very odd screen issues. What do you make of them? Also, the little "Fingers" seem to be getting worse and there are more of them now...

maybe you know that the touchscreen and the digitizer is fixed together with glue and maybe this glue is dry or something so that it doesn't keep touchscreen and digitizer together....
If you have warranty then send it to at&t
greetz
Thanks!
It is out of warranty though...
Does anyone else have this issue?
Replace your digitizer. I've had the same issue with my Raph and honestly, when I opened up the phone, I found that the "wet stuff" was the glue which held the digitizer on. In a few weeks, it will start to peel off.
It's about $16 to get a new digitizer. So yeah.
Thank you!!!
Sent you a PM...
Today I got a Ployer MOMO7 Talent tablet from Pandawill.com. The tablet is great, except for a "small" problem:

There is a sort of liquid-like smudge under the screen. If I press hard on it, it seems to grow, and shrink back when I realease. The touchscreen itself works fine, it's mostly noticeable when it's on on pure white or black.
At first I thought it was an air bubble under the screen protector, so I took it off, but the spot is still there.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this, and any sollutions? Thank you!
FIXED!
If anyone is wondering: The problem seems to have been the two pieces of glass being stuck together (the glass panel and screen?). I used a pair of suction cups to pull on the screen, and it fixed it!
Glad it was nothing serious!
I replaced the digitizer on my sensation 4G a while ago and the entire screen stopped working after like a month. It was also overheating which makes me think it might be a software issue, but I have no way of knowing. So anyway, I was about to take apart the entire thing to try and find the problem and I noticed something while watching a tear-down video. Before the guy in the video put the digitizer in, he removed the sticker things from the digitizer, which you can see in the image below (the yellowish one with blue-green writing). I didn't take them off, and when I did there was a sticky residue left behind. Could this have caused the screen to stop working after a month? If yes, is there a way to get it to work again without getting another digitizer (and LCD probably)?

I've had my HTC One X since the day it came out and love it but I had a problem that turned out to be the motherboard for the phone. I fixed that by finding someone with a broken screen white version from AT&T and bought that since my screen was fine. I switched things around and gave it to my son so he could get away from a Windows phone was using. About a week ago there would be weird texture issues on the screen where the fonts looked to tear almost and then when playing games it would go to a screen of different colored pixels

. Anyway I have taken the phone apart and checked all the connections but I am at a loss and as a matter of fact the phone just sits there on the same screen all the time now so I made it worse.
Anyone with similar experience that has a better idea? Thanks.
Hi everyone! I have a problem probably that is hard to solve. I want advices if you have any.
Problem:
-Screen is full black, nothing at all. Backlight works time to time.
-Phone works. Boots without problem.
-I tried to replace screen but it didn't help.
It feels like, screen just doesn't get the energy from battery or something like that. I guess the problem derives from those pins (look at the image). I picked the image from net. In my phone pins are a bit crushed. I can add a image of my phone tomorrow if it means anything.
Is there anyway to fix only that part?
I'm open to any suggestion since the phone is not usable anymore. I don't want to throw away my Nexus. Thank you.
