When my e650 connects to Wifi it has an annoying beep. This means that my phone constantly tried to connect and beeps while it is on the side.
Does anyone know of a way to switch this annoying function off? I've had the problem on both the Orange ROM and the HTC ROM that I've installed.
Neither of these has a function to switch off this alert that I can see anywhere and I'm hoping someone can help before I give in and but an iPhone!!!
I'm also interested by this. This beep is so annoying

Hi,
I have noticed that I am no longer able to answer incoming calls via the Samsung HeadSet (I mean the cable headset that comes with the I-600). When an incoming call arrives and I push the button on the cable of the headset, the light goes on, but that's it.
I have done a hard-reset and voila: the headset could answer incoming calls again!
After having re-installed all my programs, the headset again does not accept the calls.
As I have so many programs on my I-600 it does not make sense to name them all. But does this ring a bell with any of you experts? Maybe someone encountered the same problem and found a solution?
Does any known program interact with that call acceptance button? Any registry entries I should change?
TIA for your help!
hi there I have the same problem too
I haven't found the hack but I just got the following ideas:
in the stettings activate the any key answer
and if it doesn't work again try with using auto answer function
I can't test now on my i600
BTW among your programs is there anything like flash get (download manager), 3D games, office editing application?
yes, I have Documents To Go and S-Tris 2
But the answer with any key and/or auto-answer option is no real solution
But still thanks for your input.
Maybe anyone else can come up with an idea?
TIA
Hi all, i recently got a vodafone Treo Palm 750 from a friend who bought it from the UK.
I'm currently outside the UK...now when i try to put my non-UK sim card into the phone, it logs on normally to my GSM network however the phone exhibits the following weird behaviour.
1) SMS send and receive works normally.
2) I cannot make a call... phone starts dialing then hangs up by itself immediately.
3) When someone calls me i can receive the call... but my microphone and speaker are off so that i cannot hear the person nor can they hear me... in other words i cannot make or receive voice calls.
4) Despite having the tap sound turned on, the touch screen makes no sound when tapped.
5) Even after pairing with another phone, i am unable to send files to the treo over bluetooth.
Basically the situation is I cannot use the phone for calls yet i can send SMS. Now I don't know anything about the different types of phone locks and have never worked with locked phones, but is this behaviour caused by some wierd thing vodafone did to prevent me using the phone outside the UK ? If so why would they let me use my non-UK simcard to SMS but not call ?
The phone has no scratches so i doubt this is a hardware issue caused by the phone falling previously.
Please give me any idea about why this is happening and how i can fix all issue so i can use this phone throughout the world. (btw i did a soft reset but no difference... i don't want to do a hardware reset because if this phone is somehow partially unlocked then it may revert back and i won't even be able to use my non-UK sim outside the UK to SMS).
Thanks
Hello,
I just faced an issue and hope one of you can point me somewhere to fix this.
I have an active sync server connection setup. When I now download a mail attachment and my mobile is called the phone does not ring at all. The call is diverted directly to voicemail.
I tested the same with other phones (Treo Pro (WM6.1) and Nokia deives (symbian)). All using the same operator and same SIM card.
Using the Palm I was able to get 8 out of 10 calls on the phone and was able to pick them up, using a Nokia 10 out opf 10 came to the mobile, so no call loss at all.
Using Raphael I get none out of 10, which is not that nice.
Do you have a Reg-Key or something else I can use to get this issue fixed?
Thanks for your help.
Cheers
Jan
Mhhh.... It seems that no one else has this issue....
Any idea how to modify the priority on the GSM interface, so that the device stops data transfers when a call is presented????
Thanks for any help!!!
Ive got the problem right the other way, i tired to download some 200mb file and Opera canceled the download a few times because of some incoming calls.
I don't know some option to change this behavior...
The option to change that setting is in Settings/Phone/Services/DDTM Mode then turn that option on or off. Hope that helps a bit.
Dear All,
I am facing a wired problem that is: When I receive a call in phone idle/locked screen, call does not connected sometimes and appear as missed call in notification area. Usually call supposed to be connected whenever I pull answer icon to the ring. But the problem is, somethimes it's connected and sometimes not.
Does anyone face such problem ? I am looking for a solution badely.
I'm hoping somebody here can help, I haven't been able to find anything by searching here or through Google.
During phone calls the volume from the microphone fades in and out on the other persons phone. From what I've been told the longer I talk the lower the volume on their end. If I pause for a second or two, the volume goes back to normal then slowly starts to fade again. I have had this happen both on calls to other cell phones and to landline phones.
I have tried looking for in call settings on my phone but can't find them anywhere. If anybody has any ideas please chime in.
try using different SIM , the call quality depends on :
1) Sim you use
2) The signal percentage present at the time of call
i mostly presume these are the reasons which does such things in INDIA
if you are from india, try these ..
NOTE: i dont feel that its problem of Phone
I'm using the phone on Straight Talk in the U.S. and still haven't found a real solution. I did however find a work around. If I reboot the phone every morning it seems to help with the problem. A bit of a pain, but whatever works.
