Got an HTC TC just recently, and wanted to show off its 3G lushness by watching some Vodafone Mobile TV. Except it doesn't work, in any way, can't even get Vodafone Live on it...
Any instructions, you clever folk?
No workaround. At least in Bulgaria Vodafone Live won't work on any Windows Mobile based device. I guess Vodafone Live is the same everywhere in terms of technology. It's a problem with Vodafone and not with the phone. If you want TV just sign for unlimited data and watch some streaming TV channels that are available on the net.

Annoying - even more annoying that the ONLY data package Voda in the UK have is 7.95 GBP for 120Mb of data a month. That's it, no options....
14£ for an unlimited dataplan for me (unless I use p2p in that case 5GB)...

Like many people I really want an HTC Touch Pro aka Raphael. I have a Korean foreign exchange student living with me that can get a HTC Touch Pro from Korea. I know that the phone has multiple versions. Can I use the Korean phone with AT&T?
Will it work out of the box or will I have to do something to it?
It will work fine for EDGE and voice, not 3G. I'm stuck with edge now for the first time (I'm currently in VT for a few days)... Honestly, not as bad as I thought.
Great info Black.... Can you try YouTube streaming and let us know how the performance is on EDGE? Wondering if it streams or just degrades the quality like the iPhone when streaming video. Thanks.
I am going to Seoul, South Korea in 2 weeks and may have the opportunity to get the Raphael while I am there. Do you know what the prices are in Korea?
phones are generally more expensive in korea then here in US
Hi all,
Can anyone confirm that the Kaiser can fully utilize 3g data on the TMobile US 3g network? I have seen several (old) articles that pre-date the release of the Kaiser saying it may be the 'first 3g windows mobile phone available'. I have the opportunity to get an AT&T tilt from someone I know, but before I go through the process of unlocking the sim and flashing the ROM I'd like to know if it is worth my while. I've been waiting for the pharos traveler 137 to be released for a few months now but I know that Tmobile has no interest in carrying it ( I talked to a few service reps, and they just play dumb and say they've never heard of pharos or a 3g capable WM phone). So without the plan upgrade discount the phone is going to be $600, all for the luxury of using the 3g network on a phone that actually supports msexchange email.
between aardvark ( company developing ms direct push app for android), the pharos smartphone, and getting info on this TyTn II i feel like I've been doing a whole lot of waiting for a phone that has what I feel are two very basic features nowadays on other networks
Comments appreciated,

Works Good Dude!! i'm in CT, in USA and have used a kaiser with my tmobile sim, works faster
unfortunately, you get Edge only. Few PPC's have tmob 3G off the wall 1700/2100 mhz radio combo. The G1 has it, and maybe a few other New PPC's.
Hi to all. Im the proud owner of an Htc evo Fully rooted and also a treo pro both on sprint network. I'm traveling to europe in 2 weeks and unfortunately i'm pretty sure neither of theses phones will work there. Could someone point me in the direction of a cheap way to call back home and maybe even have my family call me. I'm taking my MacBook so I've considered skype or maybe fring but have never used either so I'm not 100% of their capabilities any help would be greatly appreciated. Thxs in advance

Welcome to forums
Right, CDMA phones are only used in US and a few Latin American countries, the rest of the world uses GSM.
Some of CDMA devices have also the chance to insert a normal SIM card, not sure if your devices can...
If not I guess that link will save you from being connected while traveling on GSM world.
Hi all, I am a newbie *waves*
Got a question I can't seem to find on the internet, so I thought I would joing this forum to see if anyone can help.
I have an HTC HD2 using "Windows Mobile 6.5", on a contract, which I am going to cancel as I am well outwith my contractual agreement on the T-Mobile network in the United Kingdom.
My girlfriend and I are going travelling for a year, to numerous countries, including most of Europe, USA, Nepal, India, most of South East Asia and Australia. I am wondering if it is possible to use my HTC HD2 abroad, by unlocking from the T-Mobile network (not sure if that is the right terminology, sorry) so I can buy pay as you go Sim Cards from different networks in the countries above to keep costs down.
I was also informed that some phones do not work in certain countries because of tri-band, quad-band issues, again I am not clued up if the HTC HD2 will work in other countries, so any help on the matter would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
Norman.
Hey guys, recently went to the states and I was really interested on bringing in a GW4 LTE Model, since where I live they don’t sell this model.
My worrie here is if I’ll be able to activate local carrier plans even if the watch is an USA Model.

My local carried does not support it so I purchased data plan from Dentwireless (1GB for 365 days) which I see it is more than enough for the watch. Everything is working perfectly, the only thing I cannot do is call via LTE if watch is not connected to mobile. Everything else I can do remotely via LTE without the phone nearby (like messages, replies to messenger, browsing internet, etc,....)
