Windows Live Messenger Says I Am Not Cosnnected to The Internet, even though I am able to surf, I am using a HTC P3400 and just recently installed a spectec wifi card, as well as install WM6
Anyone have any ideas?

Hi just got this phone yesterday , I can't get it to sync with hotmail/windows live doing my head in its runing wm6.1 please help.
Iv noticed i can log on to windows live and hotmail when im connected through wifi but when i connect through gprs it wont connect but IE works fine HELP

My question is the following:
I've installed THE SAME HTC Home plugin on my Magician, and my father's Prophet. The weather download works like a charm on the Prophet, but on the Magician I get the "Unable to retrieve..." message. The city the same. THE WHOLE PLUGIN IS THE SAME. So how can it happen?

The Magician doesn't have a build in WiFi chip. How are you trying to connect to the internet? With a cellular connection? .-
Via Activesync (in my case WMDC, I'm using Windows 7, but it doesn't matter). Internet Explorer works fine, I've navigated on my Magician to htc.accuweather.com, entered city and country name, and it gave me the weather, but on HTC Home I still get that "Unable..." message... I've tried several other cities, the result is the same.

I use WMDC 6.1 for windows 7 laptop 64-bit
my mobile is htc cruise with windows mobile 6 professional
I used to work fine one sync and use the internet one my htc through my laptop passthrough internet connection.
for 3 days now I cannot use the internet anymore although syncing is ok
each time I try to use the internet on htc it starts connecting with my data plan but not through the laptop. when I turn my sim card off or remove it from the phone, the internet works fine !!!
how can I solve this problem?

I found the solution to this problem by using SKTools and then in network configurations, u disable GPRS data connection..

Yesterday i updated my HTC Touch Diamond to Windows Mobile 6.5.... i wish i didn't do that! I use BSB Unlimited Rom and now my WIFI doesn't work.
My cell finds the wifi connection and my home network. It even connects. But when i want to start MSN Messenger, Oprah, Internet explorer, it doesn't make a connection!
With Windows Mobile 6.1 i've never had troubles connecting
I hope someone can help?
