WM6.1 "Slide"/"Slide Media" Home Screens (All Colours)

Matching wallpapers for all the colours available in Gonzo's WM6.1 ROM!
Default (Green), Light Green, Blue, Red, Yellow, Magenta, Grey, Brown, Purple. Extract to HOME dir on phone.
Have fun!
EDIT: This is the final release! Colours tweaked, rounded corners added to all schemes, works in both screen modes. Colours are available from the Home Screen Layout menu. No need to change wallpaper and colour scheme anymore, everything is automated.
The theme shown here is Light Green. The rest of the preview screenshots follows a few posts below! "Slide Media" Home Screens added.

It's look great but I think I missed something.
Is there any plugin to run this screen? I copied all files (included in Colours.zip and Slide Media.zip) into Home Dir and it's doesn't work...
Any complementary information ?

Just one comment, I'm using the blue theme and in the call status when taking or doing a call i get the default green background..

Thank you! Yes I know, that's a ROM issue I'm afraid! You'll have to live with that for now Anyway when you're doing a call you're not supposed to be looking at your phone! :-D

Well you obviously need WM61 on your phone, are you trying to use this on a WM6 ROM maybe?
When you extract the files to the Home DIR, there shoud be a bunch of xml-files named "Slide (Colour)" and a directory called Slide, that's it mate!

I own an HTCS710
Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard
it does not Work for me, only shows the wall Paper, but no data in HomeScreen, Any Ideas????

Hi all,
This is my first stab at creating a blue-ish theme. I've got round to removing all the green I believe but I didn't get a chance to change the grey highlights to blue as well hence releasing as a blue-grey theme.

Update: 24/11/2009
After many failed attempts I've managed to sort the dialer out for incoming calls (see new screenshots).
Version History:
v0.60
- All green within manila changed to blue except stocks tab (I prefer it green there)
- IncomingCall.bmp fixed so that it works
To do:
- I had blue highlights for Dutty's task manager working, not sure why it's not on this release will update asap.
Download: KF_Blue_Grey_v0.60

I've got the cab ready but I'm having trouble uploading it, cab is 5Mb and zipped up is 2.6MB which is well within the attachment limits. Any suggestions guys?

The taskbar icons I installed separately, however, the phone canvas uses the same dll where the images are stored so for this release it'll be without the phone canvas.
I'll try split into two cabs!

Nice work, blue bits work just fine on my blackstone running Sh3lby 1.6 rom, manila 2.5.1921xx. Unfortunately the phone canvas doesn't work (get a corrupted image making the phone unusable). Just a warning for anyone else who wants to try it

Blue grey theme without phone canvas messes up phone graphics during calls. Had to hard reset to get rid of this. kinnyfaifai can you confirm?

i had the same issue with phonecanvas but i have found the solution to reinstall,i was making the same work as you before for blackstone and diamond,im blue guys,i like it,thanks for this now i don't need to begin again ,i use your's
if someone wants the phonecanvas cab i have it.
edit:when i have installed your latest version my taskbars are transparant now???i don't like it!

The taskbar? Can you post a screenshot? I've been messing with too many manila files so I need to know exactly which ones are the ones you're talking about so I can easily track them down!

ho sorry ,until you asking this i have reinstall my own taskbar & bottombar,when i install your cab,the taskbar & bottombar is part of the wallpaper,nice if you like it but i like black bold & glow taskbar
so not a problem if you like it,again,thanks.

When I'm free I'll finalize changes I've made and refresh screenshots, the taskbar icons on there aren't the ones in the cab.

no i dont believe it too it must do some change that the wallpaper will be in full screen after installing this cab i think,maybe changing theme?

Are there any settings to change these tabs from non coloured to coloured.Lets say i flash my favourite rom which has these in black and white and and then i want to make them coloured? is there a cab or settings.

Well... You're gonna have to search!
Those icons are part of the Windows Mobile 6.5.X theme you're using! Downloading, installing and activating a different theme will change those buttons! But you'll have to find one you like yourself!

[REQ] Can someone please make these slider sets

These are some of the best slider icons I have seen yet. Boy has some serious skills.
I already asked him if I could share it on this board and he gave me the green light.

That would be good if someone could or what would be even better if there was a how to anywhere as I have a set of glass icons I'd love to try but have no idea where to start and HDwall doesn't work for changing the slider icons.

guys, i will do those sliders for you this weekend if nobody else does in the mean time.
a few obs:
- i only do what i find, i don't have time to search for eg. large preview icons
- if you want more you'ld better start searching
- i suggest to try my slider first to see if you have any issues - see my signature

I know that there is at least one icon for each tab that can be used as I put a different set together but changed my mind on the theme last minute.
Would love to learn how to do this because there's various sets on that site that look pretty good that I could play with depending on the theme I decide on.

please pack your desired icons for all tabs and post them here.
if you want to use the same icons as large previews as well, please send 256x256.

Hi redzepplun, i think there was misunderstanding I did not mean these slider icons, i meant 'way out there' ones, which I tried and they did not look good. they are quite small. But the ones you are referring on this thread (made by 12aon) are really nice and would fit quite well.

Hi mate I've attached the icons, they're all 512 x 512 I hope this is ok as that's the size they came off the website as. That's perfect to use the same as the large previews too. I hope they look as good as I think they will. Thanks

There is a way, but I can't for the life of me find the thread for it. They are just simple .cabs, I had looooads but I deleted them after installing Windows 6.5.x as I didn't need to use them. I'll keep searching and hopefully someone will link you to a thread in the meanwhile!

Was getting a little frosty in my other thread..
I'm looking for a few things for 6.5...
1) A collection of start icon's (only the icon, no text). Also a separate remove text cab would be nice as I've seen a few others that would give a limb for one...
2) I've not yet seen any of these yet but I'm after a collection of animated load icons (you know, the win icon that spins)
3)A collection of stand alone volume skins. Have seen a couple of these but they always seem to incorporate something else (not that I'm picky lol)
I'm mainly looking for Dusk and Anastasia themed items but i would love to see what else is out there!

Any hints to threads would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a lot. Tried but no help. The taskbar I use is from anastasia. However the Start icon change in itself is not possible.
Also the "Start" text written on the top cannot be removed. Is there a way for it really.
It will eb a very nice idea to make a collection of
Volume icons
SMS icons
Battery icons
Start icons
and customization of start text.
Anyone upto it?

You can definitely, definitely change just the icon alone. I just can't find the damned things!

I've found an answer to that, thanks to dafunk2.
TO ALL OF YOU THAT WANT ONLY THE CUSTOM WAIT CURSOR:
No guys, there is no way to make a cab for only the custom wait cursor.
This is because the custom wait cursor graphics are into the file shellres.192.dll. Into this file reside also many of the taskbar icons and other miscellaneous graphics. If I make a cab with only the file shellres.192.dll and you install it, you will have my wait cursor, but you will have many of my taskbar icons as well. It's good if you use my taskbar (but if you use my taskbar you already have my cursor ), but if you use another taskbar....you can easily understand what can happen.
So this is why there's no way to make a cab that installs only the cursor.
I'm thinking about to make some colors variations of the cursor, but I think that I will make them for cookers (and who knows how to edit dlls) and I will post the 32bit bitmaps in the Windows Mobile Themes section.
I'm sorry.....but I'm explaining why this is impossible

This removed the 'Start' Txt from the upper left Start Button. I'm using T-Mobile US.
