[REQ] Bring the SPRINT-clock to the HD2

Hi Max and all you other skinners out there!
I'd like to request the Sprint clock (in white, not flipping) and a transparent background for the clock (in combination with the weather display) for the HD2. I tried so many things with MaxTTM (not the ultimate layout, which looks great but has way to many features for me *ggg*) but didn't get that working. Anythin I did corrupted the layout.
Maybe there is already a solution for that and I'm to blind to find it If so than please advice guys
Also a great set of black and white icons for the slider would be nice I really don't like the "colorful" stuff...

Tried that before but I didn't like it because of the "flipping" which doesn't look good with transparent background. Numbers look distorted when the numers flip...

Add Disable Clock Flip
For that, there 's a cab named "Touch_X_Homescreen_Flip_clock_OFF" and it works fine for me.

AFAIK, this only disables the clock animation when you return to the home screen, i.e. when the clock goes 1 hour and 2 mins back and then flips to the actual time. The normal flipping of the clock is not disabled by this cab.

Would love a sprint clock as well. Contacted dragonsoft see if he can help as he seems to have done a few nice clocks.

cheers, i had seen & played with Max-Manila but wasn't over keen. not a great lover of 3rd party software plus i like to get my hands dirty if you know what i mean.

That can be done and the thread exists in which that topic is being discussed. I've followed several different sets of instructions on HOW TO edit an individual icon from the slider tabs, and it really isn't that difficult.

I have a request. Its an image that matches the colorful stickers slider theme and i managed to track down the original icon set. I had a go at creating it myself. I replaced the image with the one included after i had edited it to be squished as you seem t have to do, however after copying it to windows i had no icon at all. Copying the original back it returned. Is there some sort of signing process ect required. Anyway attached is the .png image

has anybody made a buuf theme for the hd2? i would donate a few bucks if somebody could make one if there isnt already, and im sure a few other people would like this theme as well.

after a bit of searching on the web i found a really nice theme for winmo, im not well versed in porting themes but its an amazing theme

Wow, see what you mean, realy nice theme! Like the style of animation.

it would be really cool. i would be willing to compile all of the icon packs, sliders, and wallpapers if somebody was willing to help me put it together as a full fledged theme
ive seen the fallout theme created by horrorview and star, and it came to be an amazing theme in a short amount of time. i feel like the hd2 doesn't have a whole lot of theme customization for just the stock rom, and a few quality themes seem to be in order :]

Yeah when I had my G1 someone had made a BUUF theme and it was always my favorite, I love that animation style too. Keeping an eye on this one

if somebody could kindly lead me in the direction i would need to go to get the programs and tutorials on creating themes for leo. id be more than happy to make it myself but i dont know where to start or what to look for. i have all the icons and what not together, i just need to know how to edit manila in order to create a proper theme

i have seen that one before, but all he really did was change the slider and the internet tab. the clock was from a custom rom i believe, however im not a huge fan of the clock anyways.
i do have a slider already on my phone with actual buuf icons, and i have all of my icons replaced with high res buuf .png's. but now im to the point where i want to modify sense in order to get a more complete feel to the theme. i have some buuf wallpapers too.
really all i need to do is some color modifications on manila, get a more cartoony flip/analog clock(s), perferably the buuf clock used on android.
there really isn't a whole lot to do honestly.
ill take a screenshot of what i have right now when i get home from work
edit: actually i think the desire flipclock might fit pretty well. ill just have to see

For your interest; there is allready a Buuf theme for Leo (HTC Sense) available. If you want to see it, just click the link in my signature.
There even is a new MaxSense Buuf theme in progress too.

(Sorry for my english Hungarian is my first language.) I have the iphone dialer,keyboard,etc... I don't know what size png or other pic you need. I post a few png and let me know what I can help with. I'm new to the thc hd2 so I need to get used to it after the iphone... I think using ssh with iphone was easier then win mobile. If you send me files you need to buuf I can change them for you... I have Adobe CS5 Master collection to do the work...

Hello to all,
Since I mean my first Slider with everything which to it belonged, tinkered itself (Sliderbox and - bar). Since it much work was genuinly I the things gladly with you would divide. If it pleases at all someone. Stop is my taste.
The things, those once as Manilapackete and once as Caps made. The Slidercap contains only the symbol for the same. Bar and box separately install. Is more flexiebler and it comes with the Deinstallation not to conflicts, like it often happens to me in earlier times. There I to the installed Slider for the foils - after bar installs. There the files for it (in black stop) available were it however already, cannot the program any longer completely distant.
Therefore I have the symbol to separate box and bar made. Then everyone can look, for which like it.
Slider - boxes and - bar are in Post2.
Starting symbol (Post3) are only for WM 6.5.x, for the start - symbol left down.
Also I have a little graphics for the music player (the Slider it does not give from me. It is from Kurt Willems from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=674378 ) and also some soft bar symbol. (Post4)
And last but not least, my first sun and moon. (post5)
About criticism and feedback of you I would be content.
Special thanks go to Franwella, he show me the first steps to provide a Slider.

I made three kinds of Slider Bars. One fulltransparent, one halftransparent(black) and one black. All three in the Packs.(Mannila and Caps Pack).
When you wish a special colour, then Post me and i will make it.(Boxes and Bars)

Startsymbols : Are only for 6.5.x Startsymbol down left.
First only as Manila Files.

Please restart Sense after installation.

very nicely done. looks great. are you going to fix with overlapping issue of the icons? i did transparent slider and the box transparent. then you see the icons overlapping each other. i know this is your first work and like i said it is very well done. just wondering if your updating these in future with fixes. thanks.

There is a way, but I can't for the life of me find the thread for it. They are just simple .cabs, I had looooads but I deleted them after installing Windows 6.5.x as I didn't need to use them. I'll keep searching and hopefully someone will link you to a thread in the meanwhile!

Was getting a little frosty in my other thread..
I'm looking for a few things for 6.5...
1) A collection of start icon's (only the icon, no text). Also a separate remove text cab would be nice as I've seen a few others that would give a limb for one...
2) I've not yet seen any of these yet but I'm after a collection of animated load icons (you know, the win icon that spins)
3)A collection of stand alone volume skins. Have seen a couple of these but they always seem to incorporate something else (not that I'm picky lol)
I'm mainly looking for Dusk and Anastasia themed items but i would love to see what else is out there!

Thanks a lot. Tried but no help. The taskbar I use is from anastasia. However the Start icon change in itself is not possible.
Also the "Start" text written on the top cannot be removed. Is there a way for it really.
It will eb a very nice idea to make a collection of
Volume icons
SMS icons
Battery icons
Start icons
and customization of start text.

You can definitely, definitely change just the icon alone. I just can't find the damned things!

I've found an answer to that, thanks to dafunk2.
TO ALL OF YOU THAT WANT ONLY THE CUSTOM WAIT CURSOR:
No guys, there is no way to make a cab for only the custom wait cursor.
This is because the custom wait cursor graphics are into the file shellres.192.dll. Into this file reside also many of the taskbar icons and other miscellaneous graphics. If I make a cab with only the file shellres.192.dll and you install it, you will have my wait cursor, but you will have many of my taskbar icons as well. It's good if you use my taskbar (but if you use my taskbar you already have my cursor ), but if you use another taskbar....you can easily understand what can happen.
So this is why there's no way to make a cab that installs only the cursor.
I'm thinking about to make some colors variations of the cursor, but I think that I will make them for cookers (and who knows how to edit dlls) and I will post the 32bit bitmaps in the Windows Mobile Themes section.
I'm sorry.....but I'm explaining why this is impossible

This removed the 'Start' Txt from the upper left Start Button. I'm using T-Mobile US.
