Has anyone got the orignal splash T-mobile screen , i flash a rom and got "smart mobility" now
just for warrenty
I'm also looking for this if anyone has a copy.
You can't. You've deleted the extended rom. Your warranty is screwed.
I've got a splash screen from Hermes

But it looks a bit different. I mean T-Mobile is in the upper part of the screen, not at the bottom. But if someone in service doesn't pay too much attention it's better than nothing
thankyou your a lifesaver

I need to open the case of my Tornado. So far, I've taken 3 screws out from the back and managed to pry the bottom part slightly open. I can't get it open completely since the top part seems stuck and I don't want to break it by forcing it to open. Can someone please guide me? Thanks
may be this link can help you

There's a screw hidden behind a little sticker that warns warranty void if removed. Behind the battery.
Thanks for the info.

i saw the links you guys had posted and they help greatly. However i have a question...the qtek 8300 or dopod 586 buttons are they interchangable with the t-mobile sda? kinda tired of seeing that pink t-zone logo on my phone . also it would make my day if i got a yes to this question.... the housing on those same phones fit my sda?

I believe they are the same in all details except for the printing.
I have been examining them carefully as I wish to buy a new housing.
anyone tried it yet?
seems a tad more dangerous because of the material its on
i don't think that would work as the logo is under the sreen.. i have a pro on sprint and think of getting the fuze for my wife who is on t-mobile. i was think of doing that to, but like i said i think the logo is under screen
I had my Fuze for less than a week now. I finally chose to change my wallpaper from the ones that came with the phone, when i changed the wallpaper i saw missing pixels on the screen. Can anyone help me?
replace it while you can.
HTC Fuze screen
Thanks. I just got my new one.
I just got the HTC Fuze. As much as I love the idea it is quad GSM and quad HDSPA, I hate the AT&T branding. I got rid of the AT&T software and the Fuze keyboard.
Now the last part is to get rid of the front AT&T logo. I was wondering if anybody tried to remove it somehow.
1. Is there a touch screen available WITHOUT AT&T logo and WITHOUT second camera window? These were the only two I found on gsm4world.us
2. Is the AT&T logo painted and the mild polishing abrasive could remove it?
2) believe the at&t branding is below the glass/plastic, so if you want to do it, sandpaper
how about painting over that part... get some matching color, or paint the whole top half?
i don't really care that much about at&t physical branding, as they can be ignored... so long as their crapware is out of my ROM, i'm happy
::: bump ::::
you know... i also had the same idea... looking for something to remove, or at least cover the att logo... in fact im in another country and bought the att version of the touch pro because it uses the same 3G bands that are used in this side of the world...
KILL THE ATT LOGO!
my seidio case covers toe top at&t logo, the keyboard will still have the at&t logo on the internet key though. http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/csr2htfe-bk.htm

that's some issues.. any particular reason you want to permanently damage your phone just to remove traces of AT&T?
You could always take a crayon and write "Verizon" or "T-Mobil" over it.

Hello & welcome to xda-assist,
to my point of view you already answered the question yourself, if there's any doubt you did that replacement right and it isn't working like it should you likely made a mistake, only recommendation is to triple check the procedure you did by comparison to a replacement /tear down video and find the error, also check if you really bought the right hardware...
Following link shows some tutorials & stuff, time to solve some riddle, I'd guess..

Nothing till now
Dear friend, thank you for your fast response,
i contact them and i sent them a video and they answered this:
Thank you very much for ordering our product and for kindly bringing the issue to our attention.
For this problem we have confirmed with product department, the screen is not welded and needs to be reworked.
So what i have to do? i told them that i re-asseble the phone many times.. what means that the screen is not welded??
Thank you one more time my friend!!
