I've created another ROM for the Prophet
This is based from the new S200 Qtek WWE ROM (thx mwiberg)
This is a very clean ROM, only the standard stuff is included, plus some patches in the ExtRom.
This ROM will upgrade your SPL to 2.20.000
This ROM will upgrade your Radio to 02.47.21
This ROM contains the Qtek S200 AKU 2.2 OS (2.20.7.34 WWE)
This ROM contains my own stripped version of the Qtek ExtRom (2.20.7.114)
This ROM has a changed CID (now 11111111) (This needs testing on G4)
This ROM has a standard page pool of 12MB

Just download, run the file and after the upgrade is done, hard reset your Prophet (hold down both the camera and comm manager buttons on the side while pressing the reset button, hold the two buttons untill the screen comes up, then press the left green phone button)

lvsw has the AKU 2.3 ROM (base pdamobiz rom but stripped the "junk" )
This ROM is AKU 2.2 (basicly the official shipped version but the qtek custo stuff taken out of the ExtRom)
Try both, and pick the one you like, my other beta ROM also has AKU 2.3 however I'm still working on cleaning out the ROM.

Thanx Jesterz... I have read the site you gave before. It just lists the different AKUs. What I meant was: the difference between the OS, not only the AKUs.
There are diff AKUs for the 2.15.13.27 ROMs. I am currently using PDAMobiz 2.15.13.27 (AKU 2.3). My phone was shipped with the 2.15.13.27 (AKU 1.0? can't remember) The official Dopod ROM update is 2.15.13.27 (AKU2.15 - I think).
This S200 is OS 2.20.7.34 WWE (AKU 2.2). So, we got a lower AKU, but a higher OS.
BTW Jesterz, is this ROM the same as mwiberg's @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=283245? The difference being you have taken out the qtek stuff out of extrom?

One question about this relase. The Beam/IR button is missing in Comm Manager, am I right? So I'll have to go to settings and uncheck the beam option.
Is there a way to put it back into Comm Manager? thanks much.

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE YOU STARTING POSTING EVERYWHERE
Kill the existing (running) comm manager before running the updated cab and you will be fine. You can't update a running manager. OTHERWISE YOU WILL GET ERROR MESSAGE

I see that the NVID rom is used a lot as a first step in flashing to WM6 roms. My Question is whether this rom is usable as the primary ROM? Or does it miss/lack a lot of things in the extRom that would normally get installed?
I'm planning to downgrade to WM5 after using WM6 for a while and deciding which rom to use. =)

no, this is a doctored rom for temp use only.
The PDAviet step 1 rom is the best one to use for the purpose of upgrading to wm6, even for non-PDAviet roms.

You use the upgrade utility exe, in the extraction, that corresponds to either G3 OR G4, whatever device you have.
If you like to turn back to WM5, the best ROM every posted is the ASERG's one. Its 100% stable and you wont believe how fast it is. After testing all those WM6 ROMs i switched back to ASERGs ROM. its simply the best for using a "fast" prophet. All the WM6 roms become slower and slower with every new third-party software you install.

[dont ask me where it is exactly, the thread became to long and i dont like to search now , please do it on your own] the steps from this thread are working for the downgrade process from WM6 to ASERGs WM5.

After there was no big improvement in the PDAViet 4.0000.3 ROM, I think i'll go back to the *old* dopod AKI 2.15 ROM since that rom doesn't have the slow SIP option bug... Thanks for the recommendation of ASERG's rom. I'll give it a try =)
I've been having a single serious problem with all the WM6 ROMs I've tried, as well as with Aserg's latest 3.3 ROM.
The phone will intermittently not recieve calls. The caller is quickly diverted to voice mail, and I get no ring, no notification of a missed call, and no message waiting indicator.
I have gone from Fantastic Mobitz 1.1i to PDAViet 4.0.0.0.3 to Aserg 3.3 without resolution. I have tried Radio ROMs 2.47.21, 2.61.21, and 2.69.21 without success in all of them.
At this point, I just want to downgrade to the latest shipped WWE ROM, which is AKU 2.2. As expected, it is removed from the xda-dev ftp site. I've googled the web, read the WIKI, and searched this site for a download link. Does anyone have a link to the AKU 2.2 WWE ROM?

Much thanks - I have it now.
Earlier in the post, someone replied that this ROM is inadequate by itself for regular use. Is anything important missing? I assumed it is the same as the shipped version except for the NVID part.

That's the ROM I've been using myself for quite some time and has worked flawlessly for quite some time now. I can install and uninstall anything without discernible problems. I have more than 1500 SMS' saved without performance issues, and battery life is very good under normal usage (I also have batterystatus plug-in)
Recently I've been having problems but it probably is more related to the software I've been using (GPSProxy, Que)

I have just installed WM6 on my Qtek 9100, with this ROM:

Now, this is really cool but I thought it had this new Touchflo which I wanted to try...Now here's the question:
Isn't there a cab file or something to install it without having to look for a new ROM, downgrade, install it again and all that stuff? I think it would be useful.

if you want TouchFLO, you must replace touch.dll with a touch.dll compatible with touch flo technology, and this replacing can't be done while the OS running, so it must be edited on the rom you want
Oh, so I have to install it again huh...

- NBD 9.1
- Black Diamond 2.0
- See No Evil
go to every rom thread and check out the feedback, but the latest one is the first
for instructions how to get the best steps, check TNT 5.0 instructions

I am noob in windows mobile I have just switched from nokia n73 to HTC S710. Some people think it was not a good idea but anyhow. 4 days back I tried to upgrade my cousins gene but after applying HSPL it was dead. I asked a lot of people in gene subform how recover, in the end a Rom chef told me if I had bought phone this year then there is no solution to it. So finally I had to take it to HTC service centre and they have asked me to check after 5 days.
Now I have bought Vox myself so learning from past experience I am asking you guys first. I have read wikki though.
1) Which is the fastest but most stable rom? (Which does not have bugs)

First you should decide whether you want WinMo 6.0 or 6.1. As far as I heard the ROMs with the new XIPs are faster. I would say the Neo ROMs are the fastest 6.0 ROMs. For 6.1 there isn't such a huge difference But my experience is that the 96 dpi ROMs are pretty fast, but they are by far not bug free. Otherwise you have to decide what software you need. Gonzo's ROM has everything in it, my Lite ROM is pretty much the same, just without some apps.
In the Wiki is a list of hopefully most ROMs.
For USPL the 1.16 is definately working, as it did for over a year now. I don't know if the newer ones have any advantages or not. If you go to the wiki and follow the guides carefully you should not brick your phone. Link is in my signature.
My SPL is 1.34.000 as I have seen from my bootloader information. So can I use 1.16.
Is Neo Rom .9 bug free, have you tried it also I have read few threads people saying Hikey's WM6.1 roms are stable but does not have his thread here. From my information given is stock rom for my current os available somewhere.
It is on the XDA-dev ftp. There are a couple of shipped ROMs.

Well not all speak chinese I am on WM 6.1 v1.0 by LeFab47 alias fireburned with new xip 20202. So far it is the best for me. I hope he gives a version without thirdpart applications.

i think i should need to flash my diamond (awful movistar 7 spain theme).
first, the phone:

MODEL ID: DIAM300 (I READ THAT MOST OF THE DOCS WERE FOR THE DIAM100 SO I HAVE DOUBTS HERE)
and the SPL is the 1.93.0000 ... so ...here are my doubts:
should I hardSPL to the 1.93 provided in the forum in order to get one of the ROMS available?
I m not sure... will I notice any difference, and MORE OVER: may I notice improvements or "deprovements"
Then, another one: for the diamond, I went to the HTC site and tried (I had to!) their last update, entering my phone serial number: no chance, as expected, it is not supported/available.
So I should try to flash the ROM.
But i m a bit scary, i haven t found any changelogs and no one speaks of the last ROM version (2.x).

- having SPL 1.93.0000 by default, should I flash it by a 1.93 by olinex?
(i read the 1.40 olinex was signed and secure, but I can t find it anymore- now i m not sure whether 1.40 is older than 1.93, as sometimes version numbers are not significant).

I don t mind it is not in spanish. Actually, I do prefer in English or French.

I used sprite backup to backup the ROM? was it the ROM? (I think so, but i have doubts) it was a pkb file if not wrong, now a sprite extract mobile .exe)
