Hi!
I upgraded my HTC Wizard to WM6 using "S.N.E 3 Codename: Touch No Evil". ROM is great but I have one single problem. I cannot make my bluetooth hands free to activate voice dialing. This feature worked fine with WM5. I tried many things, including playing with the registry.
Do you have anything to recommend?
I guess I'm the only one with this problem!
What program are you using for voice dialing?
I am using Cyberon Voice Dialer.
Actually I discovered that I also have a problem receiving incoming calls by pressing the button of my hands free. The call is accepted but disconnected after a few milliseconds. The only way to make a call with my hands free is to start the call using the phone. For incoming calls my hands free does not work.
All these things was working with WM5 though.
I hope I won't have to get back to WM5!
Im sure is the OEM build of the cook. Why dont you install the cyberon voice dialer over. You can find this cab in the latest TNT thread.
Best regards.
Solved! Thanks, searching that ROM's threads.
Actually I'm using the latest release published by Cyberson. I was just missing the second of the following registry settings:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand\Path = "\Windows\SDDialer.exe"
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway\BTA GExtModule = "OEMAGW.dll"
Phone: Eten X500 / WM6
Headset: Jabra 250v
Program: Cyberon Voice dialer 1.2
How do i make this to work? I whant the bluetooth button to activate Cyberon but now when i press the button the dialer opens and not cyberon...
Is there any fix for this like a regedit?
And No i dont whant to use MS Voice Command becuse it don't understand swedish.
I have same problem with my Trinity, MARY 3.4SL ROM and Plantronics headset. Search forum doesn't found anything. Can't believe that only two people have this problem.
I fixed this problem. This is cab file:
Cyberon Voice Dialer and Speed Dialer PTT button reassign for AT&T Tilt
Guys, would this "fixed" Cyberon Voice Dialer cab solve my following problem?
I have the AT&T Tilt and of course want to reassign the PTT button for my voice tags speed dialer, but when I installed the following my Motorola H700 Bluetooth headset no longer worked with my Tilt speed dialer. (The reassigned PTT button worked for speed dialing, but the Motorola H700 no longer worked). Here is what I first installed:
1) Cyberon Voice Dialer cab(Cyberon VD for WM6_v1.2build_61226_1.cab)
2) PTT_Fix_4Tilt
3) OEM_Assign_PTT_Button cab
So, to summarize, would this new fixed Cyberon Voice Dialer cab solve my problem with the Motorola bluetooth connecting to my Tilt speed dialer? And, I also want my PTT button to be reassigned for my Tilt voice speed dialer also. (PS. I don't want to use MS Voice Command, but rather I want to keep using my Tilt voice speed dialer.)
Additional Note: When I tried the above three installs the first time, and found my Motorola H700 no longer worked with my Tilt's voice speed dialer, I had to do a hard reset (factory reset) to get my voice speed dialing working again with the Motorola H700, and therefore had to re-install all my programs again! So, I want to really make sure this fixed Cyberon cab will work before I attempt this sort of thing again.
(I apologize, but I'm a newbie at this.)
Thanks so much in advance!
I trying to do things the other way around on my AT&T Tilt (TyTN II).
I am using a ROM which has Voice Command built into it, and MVC works well for voice dialing if your contacts have English names, which I don't have. So, i went ahead and disabled MVC (can't uninstall as it is built into the ROM) and installed Cyberon Speed Dial which allows me to use my own voice tags to do the calling.
everything is ok, but the only problem is that i can't find away to start cyberon by pressing the BT headset button. all solutions i found on this and other forums were for the other way around (using MVC instead of cyberon)
Any ideas?
Hi! I'm new here and I got that lucky to change my WM5 on my Qtek9100 with TNT latest WM6 ROM. I've experienced same little problems as everybody else, but I got stuck with important one: I’m connecting my BT headset, it installs as HANDS FREE and works ok while speaking on the phone, but when i press button on it when phone is idle - it does nothing while I expect voice dialing. I've installed SDDIALER and it works, but still no reaction to BT button I've looked through different posts here and found how to change registry to work with sddialer - but I’ve found out that my registry already had right values. So what I’m asking - how to set BT headset to work with VOICE DIALING? Thanx!
Same problem
HI!
I Got the same prob, registry IS correct but bt button activates the normal wm dialer (cprog.exe) instead of the voice dialer. Did you resolve your isssue? I would like to hear sme hints on it.
Cheers!
Christos.
Following change in the registry:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway\BTA GExtModule = "\Windows\OEMAGW.dll" (string)
hi there...an interesting issue.....all of a sudden, all my voice tags have gone! there is not even an option to create a tag now! how is it possible....and no, ive not done a hard reset of late. flashed a new rom, after which voice tags were working fine.
i use microsoft voice command by the way, but being an indian, the software finds it difficult to place the accent and syllable emphasis.
any ideas? would like to restore the voice tag capability....great boon while im driving.
also, one more question, how do i configure the call button on the headset to activate the voice program? was originally working that way when i had the sh***y cyberon voice commander.
Is there any possibility to get MSVC working on Diamond 2? I used it on my old O2 XDA Orbit 2 with Bepes Rom. Now I'm interested in to use it on my Diamond 2, or should I wait for official Update on Windows Mobile 6.5 with "TellMe" ?
I managed it, but it does not work and caused a problems (i.e. once connected to BT, it always stays connected).
Working fine on mine through bluetooth, I'm using V1.6.19214 found in a link here on XDA. I don't bother with the call button activation, which can be problematic to get working, as I only need it for voice dialling through my BT headset.
hmm, okay... thanks for the reply...
i just wanted to use it for incoming calls, so that the callers name is outspoken and for simplyfying writing sms...
I think i will wait for "tellme" in wm6.5
THX guys

Hi,
I've voice command 1.6 in french, and it works nearly amazing fine. I'm not using bluetooth with it, and the only problem is that, sometimes, when I ask 'CALL ... AT HOME', it asks for confirmation, and it does not understand the 'YES' answer. This problem did not happen with version 1.5.
I also disables incoming caller names, because it has a conflict with the ring, and both are not audible (ring distorded, and voice not understandable).
But it tells you the meetings, mails, battery status, next appointements, etc...
Really amazing on a small device. I don't use contacts mamangers anymore for calling : just using voice command. I even work in the car, with the ambiant sound engine, and radio on (not too loud!). Worth the price for 19.95$ (as far as I remember).
regards,
Olivier.
PS: it fails on install because it has not enough hardware button. After install, go in the settings -> buttons and assing it to the only button. Pressing Green key for two seconds, and wait the the beep and microphone icon on notify bar. If you press the button too long, it makes a loud beep to tell you it is cancelled. You can also magic button, or remap the soft keys.
I used to use Cyberon Voice Commander to make a call. I have no idea how come HTC took off this software on Diamond 2...
I have sent the email to Cyberon to ask if there is any possible way to get their Voice Commander. They responded that the software now has retail version for about 10 languages, and they offer the full function 30-day trial on their website. I am using it so far. It works well on my Diamond 2.
Vito
Vito technology has 2 voice command apps. VoiceDialer to simlpy call some1 and Voice2Go to launch apps and cpntacts and so on.
How come there is just one button to assign something to? I would like to use cyberon voice commander via the headphone mic-button.. is there a way to do this, or is it a limitation in td2?

Try the latest version of Cyberon Voice Commander v2.5.2r from Cyberon website http://www.cyberon.com.tw/order_Product_con.php?NO100=15 as Lacerta mentioned .
This version provides "hold Volume-up" or "hold Volume-down" to launch CVC in Setting, as well as you can start it by pressing the button on BT earset.
Per xhaavardx, I downloaded the app from Vito Technology. Works great in the office. Totally useless driving down the road. And I do mean totally. Will not successfully dial a single voice tag I recorded in the parking lot unless I pull off the road and turn off all accessories, even the heater fan.
There was a post on this site somewhere recently stating that someone had converted the app from the old HTC Wizard into a .cab that could be installed on the diamond 2. I can't seem to search that thread out, though. Can any of you guys find it? That thing worked absolutely great!

This one was ripped from Samsung but haven't tested it.
Tried a text but no luck so far. Will keep trying.
Also, MSVC is working great.

Tried the Tellme file on my Pure. It works decently while I'm on my wireless network but continually tells me it can't find the network even when it's at full strength on the 3G network. Maybe it's because it was configured to search for Sprint's network, I don't know. I've seen other say they got it to work for them.
Voice Dial for Touch Diamond 2
Hello, All:
Concerning voice dial for the Touch Diamond 2, I found Cyberon Voice Dial on this bulletin board in a thread somewhere, but, regretfully, I can't find it back. IF you can find it, it is DA BOMB!! Yeah, you have to record the voice tags, but it works great in noisy environments and almost never makes a mistake. I don't use BT with the new phone, but Cyberon worked great with the BT on my old Wizard. Whatever you do, don't pay for Vito Voice Dial. It is truly unserviceable in any situation with even moderate noise.
Good Luck! Hope this helps.

The program won't even start for me on WiFi.
I believe the network issue is specific to AT&T from what I have read. No fix for this yet.
Pity....
