Homescreens and skins - HTC Vox

Hi,
I just wanted to let u guys know i just found a great site for downloading custom homescreens and complete theme's. here is the link
http://www.nectun.com/galerie.php?c...biance=&langue=en&nb_skins_par_page=12&page=1
gr cpt.bert
edit: If u download a homescreen u get an .HME file. I didnt know what it was at first but its a sort of installer like .cab files. Just copy it to your phone and click it to instal.

This has been here many times.. But thank you for sharing, maybe many people doesn't know

i didnt, thanks alot!

there's no section for the Vox on there though...which ones will work on the Vox? the SPV-E650?

SPV-E650 is an Orange branded Vox. All the themes there will work, provided you have the required plugins.

it's in my sig too
how can i make these into CAB files?
Excuse what may be a daft question but:
Can these be copied over to the device and placed in a folder other that the Windows folder?
The reason I ask is that when trying all the various Touch components it slows accessing my Windows folder down dramatically. (Also slows the device down generally)
There are no ROMS that include these different components for the Charmer.
cheers
im so sorry for bothering but can someone make these files into a cab PLEASE!!

Matt,
I have successfully installed the new Home plugin using the theloon 4.1 beta, however I can't get the new comm manager to install at all. Any ideas on what I need to do? I don't have touchflo enabled, in case that matters.
I took a quick look at the rgu file - it is very different from the one in the 8B touchflo version. It's also about 140k larger. It doesn't look like it's the correct file.
I don’t know why but I can’t enable the Favorites People tab. There is a registry entry or something else to make this work?
Thanks

Adding additional Language support

Just got my TP last week. ROM version is a WWE. I try putting a pmingliu.ttc into the font folder and unable to read traditional chinese characters in my contacts. Any fix? I would like to keep the WWE ROM because I don't need the CHT menus.
BTW, this is a great community of ppl working on various WM phone. And they say all the developers are going over to iPhone app store. Keep it up.
Peace.
KoreChiThai
Have recently tested the following cab package on WM6.1 devices, Diamonds & Pro's with help of forum members.
This cab installs font & regional settings to support Chinese, Korean & Thai.
Will also work on WM5 devices,
Input SIPs are also included.
Give it a go ! FontPDA KoreChiThai
Anyone also has a working Cab file for adding dutch language support?? Reading is no problem since its normal letters, but I'd like to keep my english rom with autocompletion for dutch.
Hope somebody has a solution for that!
Thanks
Thank you

Thank you

Hi!
@jcasplinter:
This has been already covered, take a look at this thread/post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2786675&postcount=6
After that I suggest you take a look at this other one, if you want to "tweak" your predictive texting (T9):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2786624&postcount=10
BTW, next time try the search tool, you might get your questions answered much quicker than doing the "posting and waiting" routine...
Cheers!
Please let me know how to read korean/japanese in my HTC Diamond CDMA TELUS.
I dont want to flash my rom but would love to have some cab file that will allow me to use T7 English/Korean/Japanese

The link for the FontPDA KoreChiThai is dead. Could someone please re-upload the files? Thank you!
Downloaded the FontPDA KoreChiThai.exe file and tried to install this on my Fuze on my storage card. But I keep on getting a error message that says this program is not a valid PocketPC application. Any clues as to why I am getting this error?

run it in windows... choose a folder to extract and all the cabs and instructions will be in that folder.
copy cabs to microsd and install as instructions say
I had trouble initially (on SD and w/out resets), but once installed directly on device with proper attention to resetting after each cab everything works like a charm! This program is so wonderful. Thank you! I have searched and searched and found nothing NOTHING that compares!
Briefly: We are a mixed ethnically European/Korean Christian family learning Korean and I use Pocket E-Sword regularly. Now I can enjoy the Korean bibles as well! Thank you so much!
This cab is nice but has some problems. If I set region to "English(USA)", all programs I installed have no problem to run, and some of programs cannot show chinese properly. If I set to "Chinese", a few programs failed to start. e.g. Microsoft Bing etc. I have CE-Star before, all programs work fine, but it requires to register after a few days. Can someone improve this cab???
Big 5 support
here is what i use on my TP...i can read Chinese (big5) with no prob, sms/opera....etc
just install (uhei00m-gray.cab), HTC Chinese Support
found on post #16 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=411650&page=2

manila 2d

Hi I've installed manila 2D on my omnia i910 and I like it a lot. Was wondering were I could get nice skins....and well I have only 15 MG left......
M2D skinning thread from xda-devs or M2D-Omnia from modaco
Thank you so much ! I was kinda lost and couldn't find as many as I liked !
How ???
Yep.....I have no idea how to install them....got a bunch that look pretty nice, but I can't find a theme or skin folder to unzip them in ???? And of course a .cab would be the best for an unknowing dude like me !
most of skins from xda-devs thread are not from your device resolution. Try to search zubnik's skin from that thread, i think that he's using omnia. Maybe u can PM him/her to post skin that u like.
if u have zip file, u have to extract it and send the files to windows folder.
if u have m2dct file format, u need Manilla2d Customizer (read the 1st post from that thread). Or u can also rename .m2dct into .rar, extract it and send the files manually to windows folder
.cab file format? it would be easier coz u only need to run it from your device
good luck
thank you very much for the great info !!!!

You can't cab in a manila tab, it requires an entire flash
hi there,
a little late for responding i guess, but better late then never.
but it's duable,.. i was just searching for a standalone htc reader cab nd found ur thread, anyway... I saw it from UfOun on xda developers Site
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6004805&highlight=manial_full.xml#post6004805
U need the prog first, has to be installed (guess u have that allready).
Change Ur original 26948339_manila file. edit the file by using the zip file that UfOun provides. look for ordernr.5, copy that whole reader stuff and add it in ur original file. don't forget to change order nr. ( like for instance put it on last place)) and do like he sais... delete file manila_full.xml. restart ur done
note u need the prog allready installed before doing these steps.
