Time Zone Change / Calendar Entries - General Topics

Good Morning-
I am sure the answer to this question is here somewhere, but after multiple searches I have not been able to come up with the answer - so if someone could maybe just point me in the right direction...
I currently have a customer who travels a lot. She uses her calendar to keep track of appointments, however, the minute she steps off the plane - her phone automatically adjusts to the new time zone and immediately all of her appointments are incorrect (due to the calendar not adjusting with the clock) The phone is currently a Samsung Blackjack (smartphone) Does anyone have any insight on how I might resolve this - rather inexpensively? Thanks so much in advance....the OS is WM5

Looking for app to quickly add reminders

I hope this is the appropriate forum to post this.
So far my search has been unsuccessful for a little app / tool for WM5/WM6 SMARTPHONE: all it needs to do is prompt me for a reminder text and alarm date/time.
At the specified time a reminder just pops up (vibrate/ring) and I can SNOOZE it in 5 minute increments (like older nokia phones.. press n times for n * 5 minute snooze).
Can hold multiple reminders, not just one.
Ideally it should launch with the new reminder prompt so I can quickly add things to remember on the go.
At least this is how I'd imagine my "dream" app.
I don't know if what I wrote makes sense.
You see, I'm an extremely forgetful person. If I'm talking to someone and promise to do something I usually forget it within a minute. Like it never happened. It's pretty serious, I struggle all the time.
I normally use Calendar but it takes too long to enter a simple reminder.
So if anyone could point me in a direction.....where to look
thanks
Greg
ps. no, I don't do drugs. I was born with this sh*t.
ps2. I was just thinking, is there a way to create Outlook FORMS for Pocket Outlook? So I could just create a basic template with two input lines and it adds the rest of the stuff and inserts it into outlook. (and add the private flag because it's synced to the corporate exchange server where calendars are all public... )

Need a solution to my problem

This is what's happening. I have a training schedule, it's quite intense so I have set several re-occurring appointments in my WM calendar app. Now, I also have some work events which are in my calendar as well. Right now what happens is an alarm goes off and I think it's something from my training schedule, but it's actually an appointment, thus end up missing my appointment. I know there is a simple solution to this: just look at the PDA to see what event it is, but ideally I would like a different alarm for my training and my work appointments so that when it goes off I don't need to look at my PDA but I can just go do my thing.
The question is, pocket calendar lets you set up one alarm for ALL events so what app will do this?

Calendar appointments

Hey everyone....
Does anyone know if we can get the calendar app. on the Fuze to show upcoming appointments like a week in advance? Mine will not show the appointments in the calendar tab until the day it happens. I HAVE SEARCHED The FORUMS ALREADY and could no find the answer, so please if you know it I would appreciate it....or If you can please point me to the right thread I would appreciate it as well as I cant find the answer on my own.
Thanks for the help.
many of us have tried to make Touchflo show more appts, however, its not possible at this time. your best option, if you need this, is to disable touchflo, and download some other homescreen app (ie, spb diary, etc)
And while on the subject of the Fuze calendar, I noticed today that appointments without a start/end time (all day appointments) do NOT show up in the monthly view as little icons on the display.
This is REALLY annoying, as I use glancing at the monthly display to determine if I'm available on a given day for work (I'm a freelancer).
Is there a solution, aside from editing all my all day appointments to give them a start and end time?
Is there another, better calendar program that someone can recommend?

I've been using Pocket Informant for a few years and I can't operate without it...
www.pocketinformant.com:)
Thanks for the reply. That looks like a LOT more features than I need, but it's an intersting app.
Can you confirm that an all-day appointment with no set start or end time made on Outlook on the dsktop shows on the Fuze display with pocketinformant?
After further investigation (I'm new to Outlook, having used Palm Desktop for a decade or so), it seems that in Outlook if you enter an all day event, you must also mark the event/day as "BUSY" instead of the default "FREE", and then a "something is happening this day" icon shows up in the Fuze calendar monthly view.
SBSH Calendar Touch
assign it to a (left) softkey
this is something that is still really bothering me, and i know that there are alternatives, but i personally love tf3d, so i was thinking, is it possible to have a calendar tab that shows your next 5-6 appointments? i know that there is a calendar tab floating around, but it just shows you a month calendar. if there was a way to set that tab to show your upcoming appts, that would solve my, and many others as well, problem. thanks

I second that. It would be nice to have a customizable today (TAB) that we could put the today screen or if not possible just appointments.. Hopefully some handy XDA'er is working on it....

.NETCF - Pocket Outlook Question...

I have looked all over the place trying to find a solid answer to this question...
I am trying to restrict the appointments in a given collection to a specific date. This I can do with no problem. The issue I'm running into is that instances of a recurring appointment are not being included in that collection, even thought there is, in fact, an instance on the specified date. I can get the first instance of the series to show up, but I'm not able to collect the other instances of the series. So I need the restricted AppointmentCollection to include appointments that are part of a series.
I've found this page, but I'm not sure how to use this in C#, as the .NETCF does not seem to support the "IncludeRecurrences" property.

If someone could show/tell me how to get the AppointmentCollection to include recurring appointments that would be awesome!
TIA!!!

[Q] Touch Pro 2 Calendar Recurring appointments

I am a Sprint tech support trying to find an answer for my customer. She wants to know if there is a way to put in a recurring appointment in the calender that does not fit the predetermined choices. For instance, she has a bill due every 25 days. The built in calendar on the Touch Pro 2 is not allowing her to change that. She states that on her old Palm Treo, running "the same" windows mobile OS, that she could setup recurring appointments in that manner.
I have searched all the documentation I can find and have not been able to locate an answer for her. Since she paid so much for the phone, she does not want to pay for another calendar application. So if you know of some options, I'd love to hear them.
I look forward to seeing what you all come up with.
Thanks in advance for your help.
set up a daily recurrence, in there you can set it to occur every 25 days
25 isnt an option in the pull down menu, but you can just type in 25 with the keyboard
