First of all i ask you to forgive my horrible english... Greetings from Spain!
A work friend has given me his pdaphone (magician-qteks100) because it's dead... he thought i could repair it because i have a prophet with WM6 and a lot of good programs! But i can`t... first reason is that i don't know what it happens and what he did (i think he tried to upgrade with no sucess)
The problem is that the pda doesn't work and doesn't switch... the screen remains dark but can be read the words "SERIAL" upscreen and "V 1.00" downscreen... and if i connect it with the computer "serila" is changed by "USB"...
I have try to hard reset and change the rom, but i can't...
My litlle experience is only with prophet... do you know any solution?

Ehm... I'm really sorry for this question... but I don't find a solution... I have unlocked the extended rom in my prophet but.. it have a lot of strange characters... how to format and use it? thank all again...

again: don't start a new thread for every question you've got.. try to find a related thread and post your question there next time! Or at least try the search function..
The ExtRom-removing is a known issue and a solution is still in developement, just keep yourself updated by following the smart1 WM6-ROM thread

im a boy from Belgium and i have few questions (and maybe sry for my english)
I updated mij i-mate jasjar with latest rom available for i-mate jasjar
so i did everything to update it, he reached the update but when he had to start again i cant see anything only red light burns and the computer says unknown device and. when i do a hard or cold reset he doesn't start. is there maybe a way to upload the needed files to the core of the i-mate jasjar?? or other sollutions???
or do i have to throw it away?
pls help me.
As your problem is specific of a jasjar (universal) you should have posted this message to the Universal forum. They can better help you there. If you search there, I think you will find a solution for your problem.

i´m a new user and an informatican but i´m a newbie in flashing smartphones. So i can´t understand the following Problem:
I have a HTC Kaiser 130 from German Provider T-Mobile. Because this wonderful WM 6.0 is so extrem slowly i decided to flash my ROM to new WM6.5. I went to this forum because here you have the best xda-developers ;-) so now to my problem: After flashing (and i was doing it by the newbie flash tutorial!) in each WM6.5 ROM version i found here for Kaiser, i have NO Sound on my device. And when i try to make a call the connection will be established but the speaker and the mic doesn´t work. so what have i done wrong? can anybody help me? i really really don´t want to use the original ROM :-( i´m a power user and i will throw it out of the window when i have to work with 6.0 T-Mobile Brand anymore :-D

I guess you forgot to flash your radio rom.
Try 1.70.19.09 so it will work.
hmm... sometimes i ask my self: HAVE I EVER BEEN TO SCHOOL? Or why CANT i read sometimes^^

Your answer is found very easily in the noob guides to flash the step is included and covered a million times in ROM threads.
Please search before posting a new thread and also post in correct sub forum.

can anyone help me. i have a qtek 9000 and i try to reflash him.when it installing the connection with pc has lost and it stuck on bootload mode. i reseting them and nothing was happen.i'm desperate what should i do ????

Head over to the qtek 9000 (or universal) forum here :http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=281.
There are many good stickies and guides there which will help you reflash and get ur device working. After you have read a bit and if your still stuck, PM ORB3000 who is the forum mod there and he will happily help you im sure.
You should specifically have a look at this thread, it has a huge amount of info there thanks to ORB's slightly ocd organisation so give thanks to him to
