Hey,
Just flashed Dutty's v2 Fixed on AT&T Tilt SIM/CID Unlocked. I turn WiFi on, connects to my network and turns right off on its own. A soft reset, and it stays on. Any insight?
Radio: 1.27.12.11
Protocol: 22.45.88.07H

There is a v3 what is better! Try to flash that one.

I found v2 had more stuff? Like the cube, and more apps. Guess I'll do v3 and grab some cabs. Hope I don't RLoD it
Start -> Settings -> Connections -> Wireless Lan -> Power Mode -> Auto turn off WLAN if not connected
Maybe this will help ... just check it ... I'm not sure about "if not connected".
Good luck
"if not connected" means that if the device is not connected to any network - since the wifi is turned on, after 2 minutes it will turn the wifi off. this is done in order to preserve battery life.
With these settings enabled, if you are connected to a hot spot somwhere and leave the wifi area it will turn your wifi off automatically.
If you want your wifi to stay "always on" even if not connected you can uncheck that box

Such setting doesn't exist on Kaisers. Is there a reg setting that enables it on that page?
Hi
i have the same problem as you.
Whenever i use VOIP on my kaiser, i have to resort using ear piece. If not the sound will be from the speaker phone, not the internal speaker, which is already a addressed problem in WM6 (I'm using Fring).
Thus when i use ear piece, it means it cannot be connected to a charger if i talk long hours. My screen must be left on all the time while im on VOIP, if not after seconds later, my WIFI connection will be off. Same goes for bluetooth. the screen will drain my battery within 3 or 4 hours.

anyone can help me?
i have the problem, that if i turn wlan on, it turns off automatically within 5 seconds....
maybe it's a timeout where if you don't connect to a network it turns off the wifi in order to save battery life? if so, probably a registry value to be tweaked somewhere. otherwise, maybe a more serious problem.
Is it when you are connected to your comp with active sync?
theres a setting that disables data connections when connected
in WinMoDevCentre go to Mobile Device settings -> Connection Settings -> Allow Data connections (last checkbox)
weird setting but that fixed it fine for me
I noticed that if my phone is connected to ActiveSync, and i replied to a call; it gets disconnected!!!
this was not the case in TytnII...
any idea, why is this?
at my Hermes it was like that. When I pick up a phone call the data connection stops. Perhaps it has something to do with the edge service.
Try to allow data conections while connected on WDMC or ActiveSync.
Cheers
it's already set to allow wireless connection...!!
i use the same settings with my TyTnII, and it works.
but still not working with the TP
When you receive a call fromt eh TP the screen will shut down which in turn will close the connection with active sync. Turn the screen back on again and you regain your connection.
or you can change settings at advanced config to always on top.
I have an HTC Fuze with the stock AT&T firmware. When I try to turn on the Bluetooth radio in the Wireless Manager or through the Control Panel applet, the wait icon shows up for a few seconds, disappears, and the Bluetooth radio stays off. No icon shows up either. A reset makes no difference, and I've tried both with the phone plugged into a power source and running on battery. Cycling the Airplane Mode setting also makes no difference.
I've successfully used Bluetooth in the past (a few weeks ago) and have paired my headset to it before. The Wifi radio does turn on and I can also get both 3G and EDGE data connections, depending on where I am.
Any ideas?
I just flashed latest HTC official ROM (WWE 2.03) onto the phone. These problem still exist!!!!
1) WIFI lost its connection everytime the phone went into black screen (stand by mode). When it wake from standby mode, the phone will search for available access source (i.e. my home router), but just couldn't astablish connection, even it has found the access point. Rabish!!
2) Internet browser, whether, google map, etc. all don't work in WIFI connection. I have set all connection to use MY WORK connection, and all the wifi connection to Internet connection....or all the possible combinations. It just not allow data to be transfer via WIFI connection... via my home router!!!
Conclusion is Diamond WIFI connection is RUBISH! If anyone want to use WIFI on their device, either at home or in public, DON'T BUY HTC PHONE!!!!!
****!! Wasting of my money!!!
i am using htc touch and my brother is using htc diamond..both wifi are working as good as it should be..
1. i think the "turn off when device in sleep mode" is the default setting..need to change it or make your device awake longer..
2. maybe you should try to set all to internet connection..it works for us..
just my opinion..correct me if i'm wrong..
regards..
1. you can tweak that wifi is always on even in standby
2. flash again rom or flash mine rom(link in signature, you need H-spl for that) it must work..i can use intentet(google maps, msn, opera,ie) via wifi..
maybe singal is to weak, how far are you from ruter?

Hi benko286,
Flashed your preme v2.0 ROM. Nice piece of work! Really appreciated.
However, my WiFI problem where programs like internet browser still not working in WIFI connection.
These are the settings that I have tried:
1) WIFI connected to my home router (less than 5 meters infront of me).
2) In WIFI manu -> Wireless -> "Configure Wireless Networks" page -> set "Connecter to" to " The Internet"
3) In WIFI manu -> Network Adapters -> Configure network adapters -> Set "My network cards connects to" to "The internet".
4) In Connections manu -> Advanced -> Select Networks -> Programs that automatically connect to the internet should connect using: "My Work Network".
NOT WORKING! Opera, IE, Wheather, etc. still can't work in WIFI connection!!!
Not only these, I also tried 2) and 3) set to "Work" (instead of "The Internet"). ... Also not working!!
I face this problems too.
According to Xda-dev Wiki, no one can fixed it or even know what is the main cause.
But in my opinion, there is a problem with the wireless adapter drivers.
HTC MUST FIX IT!!!
Hi,
Despite selecting NEVER in Wi-Fi settings (to ensure wifi is off when sceen goes off) - it still seems to be connected constantly
Other phones works fine and wifi is off after 5-15 minutes depends of the model
Any thoughts?
Do you have Wi-Fi+ on? It's in the wifi settings, above your networks.
It works similarly to identifying where you are most, and turning wifi on when you are home, in the office, etc. And switching between mobile internet and wifi when it best suits you.
It will automatically turn wifi on even when it is off
nope, i actually have it turned off
Goto settings, battery, settings wheel in upper right. See if wifi is set to always on in sleep. I have found a few settings that repeat themselves.
i have also set to "never" here
