Make bluetooth headset as a wireless mic?

Is it possible to make bluetooth headset as a wireless mic? I would like to use the mic on my BT headset in conjunction with an Audio recorder to record lectures.
I know we can port music into the BT headset. But is it possible to port the mic to the PPC?
Good idea really. As long as I know, the headset really hooks up only during calls
I too am looking to do something like this, but haven't gotten very far yet. Please post any findings. I want to have a better mic to record live music during practices without having to carry a separate portable recorder. So far I have found the internal mic overloads easily and turning on the AGC still doesn't bring down the level enough and has a hard limiter action. So a wireless mic is the next thought. So far I have liked the Resco software the best for audio recording, though I found that mp3 format doesn't work on my FUZE and calls don't come through during playback.
Can anyone verify if darfri is correct that the mic in the headset is only available during a call? Could anyone with a BT headset verify or test if recording uses the internal or BT headset mic? Thanks, I haven't bought my BT headset yet. What I choose depends on how I use it.

does it possible to??

hi,
does it possible to talk directly on phone, not on
bluetooth headset? I don't want to use bt headset.
thx
Yes- it is possible, but when there is no headset (either the supplied wired headset, or your own BT one) it uses the main speakers, so calls are not exactly private

yes, I was afraid of this
The 'Advantage' platform was never designed to be an 'up to the ear' mobile phone.
If you plan to use it as a normal phone, then a Touch HD may be a better option. The supplied wired headset in the X7510 does the job well enough for casual use.
I think, bluetooth headset - the best solution for use Athena like a phone.
Use Htc Advantage without bluetooth or headset
Hi there ,
It's possible to use the htc advantage without bluetooth or a headset , just like a normal phone , but it wont be private if you are close to people near you because it is a speaker phone . However you still can use it by adjusting the pda and phone volume to the second lowest bar ( when you tap on the speaker icon on top of the screen ) , at the same time when the call is on , you also adjust it to the second lowest bar , that way your pda will still be speaker phone but at the lowest noise output , so you have to put your ear near the top speaker to hear properly and put your mouth about 3 inches away from the mic at the bottom and probably speak a bit louder . It works fine for me , but it is an idividual preference thing since you cant change the fact that it is a speaker phone .

sound through a2dp headset only for calls?

Hi I have a new car stereo which pretends to be a a2dp headset, I use it for making hands free calls but my phone.
I also use my phone as my satnav and want to be able to hear directions but when connected to the stereo if i want to hear them i need to select bluetooth audio, but I also want to be able to listen to my radio/cd/mp3s.
Is there a way to tell my phone to use its speaker for all sound but the phone calls, in which case use the headset(stereo).
If i cant do this normally is there some software out that can do this?
If not is this possible to code myself I have some experience with wm development but nothing with regards to sound, I.e. can I listen for when a call is coming in and change sound modes?
Another option which will work just as well would be to enable both outpiuts at the same time is this possible?

[Q] Bluetooth Headset Problem

I want to use Spype on my G Tablet - bought myself a bluetooth headset. I can connect no problem (can even toggle it on and off with the home screen button application) it beeps indicating the connection.
But when I do calls I doesn't use the mic and speaker of the headset. Matter of fact it seems like it messed up with my audio setting because my built-in speakers don't seem to work anymore.
Any thoughts?
Sometimes I have the same issue. If you want speakers back, try disconnecting from the Bluetooth device. If that doesn't fix it, just reboot. I just posted another comment about the impossibility to use a bluetooth headset, not just for output, but for audio input also. I guess this is because there's no HSP or HFP bluetooth profiles implemented on the g tablet, just a2dp, which is why it just can stream audio to an output device, like a bluetooth stereo headset or car audio. BTW, I discovered this when trying to achieve exactly what you tried to do, making calls using Skype.

[Q] Manually enable/disable internal mic with headphones plugged in?

This is a rather common question, but the resolution always seems to be 'get a new cable'
I have a headset, which DOES have a microphone, but the mic on it is broken. Instead of going out and buying a new headset, is there any software anyone has seen to take manual control of which mic is enabled when a headset is plugged in?
I have tasker, but it seems there's only an option for "Microphone Mute", which doesn't differentiate between the headset and the internal.
Ask NSA....because i search that in entire internet and i do not find anything about to disable-enable the internal microphone on an android phone....
