I've Slide 2 UnLock on my Qtek s100 (magician ?!) And i want to install S2U2 But How ?!
I find .cab, But juste for wm5 and it's exist for wm3 ? (Or What it's the best version ?)
Secondly:
I want to put Pocket Cm contacts or (and) MWC (Marshall WaitCursor) can I?

I want to know how to change a T-mobile MDAIII from German version to English version, actually i many meesage over forum, but i want to know how can i extrace a existing German version rom from MDAIII to a file for backup - just in case it got any problem during flash ROM error. then is that just follow your instruction to download a English rom, then flash to MDAIII?
what tool and how to do it?
Where can i find a new rom?

Hi,
my first post here. I've used the search function but I did not found an answer.
I've got an MDA Compact II (HTC Magician II i think).
With the old ROM (forgot to write down the version numbers ^^, i think it was 1.12) i was able to CID_UNLOCK using aWizard 1.3 beta 2, and then i've changed the bootscreen.
Now i've upgraded my MDA with the AKU2 upgrade from the German T-Mobile site.
My Questions:
:?: Is my phone still CID_UNLOCKED AFTER the AKU2 Upgrade?
:?: Do i have to CID_UNLOCK every time i start aWizard, when my MDA is allready CID_UNLOCKED?
After the Upgrade i can't CID_UNLOCK it :evil:, as many users report here too.

I have a Dutch M600 (all the text is in Dutch) and it is quite, well, cumbersome. Is it possible to reflash it with some default (non-branded) let's say QTek S200 English ROM? I'm quite new to this and I do not know if the fact it was sold as custom-branded will make any problems.
If it is possible, give me some pointers (thread links, etc.) I searched but I didn't find this specific case to be touched. Thanks in advance.

From what I understand the M600 is just a HTC Prophet, so yes you can flash a standard Qtek s200 WWE like this (the last official Qtek release) ftp://xda:[email protected]_S200_2.20.7.34_2.47.21_2.20.7.114_WWE.zip
As you're going from dutch to english you need to use the novendor romupdate utility ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Prophet/Tools/ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendorID.zip or another option is to CID unlock your M600 (for now only possible on G3 devices) It's all pretty simple, use search and read the forum and it will get you there.
In case of doubts, just ask, succes marl

Your answer is exactly what I was hoping for. Until now I'm using M500 and because it has WWE F/W i wasn't interested in all these technical terms. Could you tell me what does it mean CID, AKU, and the other abbreviations that one can see here on the forum? How can I discover whether my Prophet is G3 or G4?

CID= Country ID (basicly it's prrotection so you can't use other firmware then the one your provider supplied) G3 device can be CID unlocked easly, G4 devices not. Check the last digits your bootscreen, if you see x.xx.000 it's G3, if you see x.xx.001 it's G4)
AKU= Adaption Kit Upgrade= Upgrades to the OS, provides fixes and new features (Like pushmail for example). Check out this URL http://www.mobile-review.com/pda/articles/wm-aku-en.shtml

CID unlocked devices you can backup to SD using terminal software over USB, use search on the forum. CID locked devices are a different story, but the XDA ftp contains most orginal vendor firmware. Most of the time restoring is not really an issue. Keep in mind that you can not downgrade IPL/SPL once you upgrade. You can downgrade the Extrom, OS and Radio without touching the IPL/SPL so this is normaly no issue.

I Jus received one SPV E650 from a friend and now I want to flash this "Orange" ROM to HTC ROM.
Because the keyboard is AZERTY, I need French ROM.
I did some search on this forum but I don't find this subject (sorry if I missed some topics)
I understood this is a special way to flash a Orange SPV E650 ?

You don't need a French ROM for AZERTY, you can install the keyboard layout on any ROM!

If you flashed NeoRose, then it's in Documents\KeyboardLayouts
Yes I flashed my Vox with NeoRose.
I saw 4 files under Documents\KeyboardLayouts. I suppose I need to install another one for french keyboard ? but I don't find it...
