Probs restoring Pocket-Informant after Hard-Reset

Yesterday I made an involuntary hard-reset :-((((
OK, no problem, restoring the last full-backup and thats it... I thought.
But some files had not been restored, because Active-Sync says, that the software is in use... So Pocket-Informant.
The Contact-Database an and appointments-database had not been restored.
Because I have no Outlook installed on my Notebook the full-backup is the onliest backup I have.
Is there another possibility to restore the databases from the backup.
Is there a possibility to terminate poutlook.exe? This will be the application that causes the probs I think...

Unable to install any .cab files??

hi all,
i am having trouble installing any application (.cab) file on my device. have an imate ultimate 8502 wm6.0. basically, in the start i installed googlemaps and it worked fine. then i did another couple of apps, and then i dont know how, but all applications stopped working. i get the error about security certs. when i try to run them. so i uninstalled most of them , and now I cant install anything
everytime i try to run a cab file, if first confirms that its not from a certified publisher, but when i confirm to install, it always gives me the error message "Installation of " ***.cab " was unsuccessful". Would really appreciate your help here.

If you Have made any backup, try to restore that. I think that should solve the problem. Otherwise may be the system files may have become corrupted. Its a good idea to have hard reset infrequently, to have clean installs.

backup of what? device recovery you mean? would it be appropriate for the current scenario if i do a Master Clear and restore to factory defaults? plus, does it clean/ repair system files that may have been corrupted?

Backup of system and pim files. It is usually done by e,g spb backup or others. Yes if you do hard reset, it will bring the system to original factory level. Of coarse you will loose all data in ROM. So please backup your data to PC or memory card before hard reset.

HELP!! Cannot Sync nor Uninstall Progs.

I tried to sync my Fuze today to install the PIM backup prog. so I can finally update my ROM to the newer one. For some reason, why I open the Windows Mobile Device Center, it keeps saying Error. It won't let me connect via Active Sync, but I can access my files when it is used as a disk drive.
I tried to uninstall any programs, but when I go to the Remove Programs, the box is completely empty!
Can someone help and tell me what could have caused this?
Do I have to hard reset to fix this?

all contacts suddenly deleted

i use ARHD 3.6.12
i woke up this morning to find out that all my contatcs got deleted
i didnt do anything. no restart no new programs , no nothing
any help?

Check your Gmail Contacts to see if they are still there. If so you may be able to re-sync them with your device.

Where Microsoft Authenticator save data?

My POCO X2 soft bricked on its own. I just turned on hotspot to use it as wifi extender and after 15 minutes it restated on its own. After that it stuck on POCO logo. I don't know when i turned off USB debugging so i was not able "adb". Installed TWRP recovery to get adb, but can't backup app from there.
I need Authenticator app, it has alot of my accounts and i haven't synced it on cloud. So, is there a way i can backup that? or copy local database of the app to get all the passwords?
I tried copying base.apk, odt, lib folder to other phone but that didn't work. Help please how i can backup one app and restore it. I tried backing up whole data but it is giving error when it reaches 100%.
Please help.
