Help: Today Screen on TyTN II - General Topics

Hey everyone,
I recently had the T-Mobile version of this nicked but have replaced it with the Orange equivalent and unlocked it to T-Mobile...
However, it's a bit different to my last one - can anyone tell me, or post me the software to get the big digital clock and the pictures of your favourite people to ring onto the main screen? I've gone through every menu possible and can't seem to do it on this one...I could also do with having a shortcut to "New SMS" somewhere...
I also can't get on the internet or the answerphone...but I'm guessing I need to call T-Mobile for that...
Sorry for the ream of questions but I was so glad to get this phone again but a bit baffled by the new one!
Many thanks in advance!!

TouchFlo3D Program tab question

Hi all,
I just got an HTC Fuze via AT&T yesterday and I was unimpressed by the stock ROM...after flashing to Elite RC3, my experience has improved greatly. I've been spending the better part of the day customizing it to my needs.
I have had one issue though, on the program tab, the grid that shows your custom programs does not have text labels. I find this confusing because many of my programs have cryptic icons - not to mention i don't know which icons are which yet. is there a way to add labels to this screen?
I did try searching, to no avail.
Thanks for your help

Disable honey comb in 6.5 and get old today ?

Is it possible to arrange icons in row form rather than honey comb (hexagon) form. I am just not able to get used to that placement. It is too darn difficult to read. I know the argument is that its easier to press, and many here have started liking that form, but It is unreadable for me.
Another question is, is it possible to get the old today screen in 6.5 some how. I have my weather program which show hourly weather on today and it is so convenient.
I did lot og googleing around, and I came accros posts which says that getting old today is possible, but those may for ver early releases of 6.5
Thanks in advance.

Dunno about honeycomb, but for old today, go to Settings > Today > Items and click on all the items you want, and it'll revert to the old Today screen.
Thanks for reply. I have reverted back to 6.1 as I could not stand the above changes. May be I need give myself more time with 6.5 to get used to it. But I will certainly try again, now that I know I can get my 'Old 6.1 style Today" back.
Thanks.

It gave you back only the Today screen, but not the old menu. No use for the stylus for such setting (hexagon)!!!!

Keyboard and music questions

hi!
i got a HTC Touch Pro last week and i'm wondering about few things. The first i know it's very commented but after all i couldn't find a post with real solution altho im sure there is one so i'll just ask
My phone has the AT&T keyboard but acts like its a sprint one. How can i change that so it types what's shown? i had an energy rom before and it had this in options as tweaks but was eating my battery and i changed it back to normal HTC rom. isn't there any way to use just those tweeks from energy rom? and second question is - now with the touch flo interface it's cool to have the pictures of the songs u r playing but my songs don't have them so isn't there some software or something that can download a picture for each song i have?
Thanks in advance
and also i have word suggestion turned on and still it doesn't show. any ideas?

[Q] "Light" Themese for my LEO

Hi community,
First of all, it's great to be on baord, and this seems an awesome community.
Now to my stupid question.....
I found this webpage whilst I was at work on Friday. Whilst browsing, I found a theme that I would like for my LEO, but I did not bookmark the page (stupid for an IT professional)
Anyway, I was hoping somebody might be able to help me; what I can say is that it was a "minimalist" theme, with very few buttons, a small on screen digital clock, and it had what I would refer to as an "electric blue" background....just blue, no images, actually the same shade of blue as my Honda
So, if anybody can point me in the right direction, I appreciate it. Once again, sorry for my stupidity.
I think this isn't it but it comes close... probably?
best regards,
Myrixamophit
Thanks, but that is not the one
Incredibly, it is even simpler than that! I cannot remember the name of the person that posted it, but I scrolling through the forum now, because I know that as soon as I see the name again, I will recognise it.
Thank you once again
lots of "lite" themes possible with CHT 2.0....
but have you tried looking in your browser's history? (you probably have...but thought i would ask!)
I have looked through my cache; but at work, system automatically clears it.
BUT, I remembered today, was a few pages forward from a "wooden theme" that a developer did by using a shelf from Ikea....lol.
Wonder if this will help?

Hi Kuan Teen,
I'm sure I saw what you're looking for but wasn't here in this forum. I saw it in the "post your today home screen" thread in the android themes forum, so try there and you will find it.
I hope you get it, good look my friend
Once again, thanks all
I've accepted the fact now that perhaps somebody has removed the theme that I wanted. Perhaps it was a photoshop job? I've read that people do that sometimes.
New problem now....lol
Last night, I installed a theme, and tried to install it on my device, but the device complained about lack of space (I have Duttys ROM installed). So, can I install on the memory card (16gb)?
Thanks guys.
err.. don't know for sure but Blue SK-i was the first theme that came into my mind when I read your description

[Q] Htc maple home screen widget customization

*rubs forehead* ARGH!! this seems to be a endless and un-productive loop What i want to do seeing as i got a htc maple from wind mobile is be able to either remove or hide some of the home screen widgets without having to recode or get into the coding of it. Is there not like a stand alone application that will allow me to do this?
Hi can easily remove the widgets from your home screen. Just press and hold on the widget then drag the widget down to the little rubbish bin at the bottom of the screen and the widget will be gone.
Sent from my awesome DZ
maybe i said the wrong model
thank you for the reply, but the htc maple here in canada as far as i know is similar to the htc snap sold in USA. i am using it to write this, the maple (snap) has a built in full qwerty keyboard and trackball.....sadly it is NOT a touch screen.....
Sorry I wrongly assumed it would be a touchscreen android handset with htc sense. Have a look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=499 and see if anyone has the same issue

ah-men for coffee
thanks for the link, i was actually thinking about the CHome config but with lack of the great awesome beverage coffee in my system could not think, let alone type, so i am amazed that i was able to post semi-intelligently yesterday (let alone now). there is a huge wealth of information (and apps) for my phone so once i get the config downloaded will look into other apps. thanks again!
again....WOOF.....and thank you so very much! added a good handful of programs from this one thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=538152 and i am still looking at more from the huge ongoing list there
