HTC S710 Stopping Fakecursor - help! - HTC Vox

HTC S710
Finally I can run Fakecursor and use TomTom etc to the full.
However I cannot switch the program off!!
Have got SmartToolKit and Xbar3 and neither seem to help.
There must be a solution to taking the battery out?
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Paul

just press the home button twice

same problem and more
I also would love to use fake cursor for tomtom and igo 2008. I´ll try the suggested method to turn it off. Also i´d like to know how to configure it. I just can´t assign functions to the buttons.

Screensaver for S710

Hi, i searching and trying several (dockware, Jgui Vista Interface, Riverland) software tools but all of them are working not perfectly.
dockware: works at external power source but not a battery
Jgui: after a time the S710 goes into lock mode (either the power settings are disabled) and JGui must restartet again
Riverland: nice to see but the same problem with the lock mode
Does someone have a solution? Running at external and battery mode and displaying the date and time at the screen; un-locked via a key or input method.
Thanks in advance!
If you wanna a clock just install CLOCKONTOP
ClockonTop
Thanks for your tip. But ClockonTop works only at the 2nd screen at my S710 after unlocking it. It doesn´t display the time at top at the main screen. Also SPShell Clock as Plugin didn´t fit quite well at the Facade gui.
Use Automatic Keylock it works for me without any problems and it is freeware. You can find it here http://maniac.fschreiner.de/.

you can map this to a button using the regular windows mobile start/settings/buttons/

Do you know a programm witch can switch on/off the light of the omnia?
nope sorry. don't have omnia..
you can try vjvolubilis.
then put the link in your menu under start.
So you can get to it fast.

Wake up Topaz with front buttons

I've been searhing a week now, all the internet, all this forum, and i still can't believe nobody didn't need (or think) to wake the Diamond 2 with some other button then power button? I tried all that i found on this forum, like key remapper programs (they are really good programs and usi it), but they do not work when phone is in stand by. I'm using the phone also as navigator on motorcycle, so i have the phone in the transparent top pocket, and need to wake up the phone with front buttons. Is it inpossible? Before on omnia i had this possibility in control panel, but disapointed, that htc didn't make it? Hope someone has an idea how could be done this...or is it actually so simple, and i didn't figure it how? Please, someone help me, i like this phone a lot. I have the essential rom installed at the moment, if this help. Thanks.
have not tried it - but TD2 Tools has an 'Any Key WakeUp'-Option
changing HKCU\controlpanel\Keybd\DefaultKeyLock from 1 to 0
easy one!

Power button issue on Pharos Traveler 137

Hi everyone. Sorry if i posted this in a wrong section, but General seems a right place for it...
I just put my hands onto a used Pharos Traveler 137 today, and it's driving me mad.
From what i remember, the power button should turn off backlight when pressed shortly.
On the Traveler, it invokes a soft-reset.
This happened on both native WM 6.1 and the official update to WM 6.5.
I have even uninstalled all applications in case anything was interfering. Didn't help. I just touch the power button and it reboots immediately.
Is there something i'm overlooking?
Can anyone help me solve the problem?
Maybe the button is mapped to something wrong? Is there, for that matter, an application or a registry tweak that will remap it?
Any help will be much appreciated; thank you all in advance.
Update: i have also found out that even when i lock the device software-wise (Start -> Lock in WM 6.5) and the nifty padlock thingy appears, the power button isn't disabled, it reboots my phone just as well. can i be 100% sure this is a hardware problem or is it still a software bug?
